Really helps you educate yourself without being patronising. You can choose learning sessions which suit your way of learning, and the virtual assistant helps to guide you through. It's also really easy to navigate and find your way back to favourite sessions. Knowledge is power so this app means you can take charge of your recovery.
100% recommend although I'll say I don't use it as often as Breethe because once I figured out that you can't move past a certain level without doing various homework exercises I didn't have time right then. I like and don't like it about it lol! Once I get these done I look forward to exploring more of the app! I constantly recommend it to my chronic pain patients and tell them even if they don't want to end up buying it then installing it and learning about the science of pain is SO VALUABLE!
App seems to be promising but after purchasing a year subscription I have been locked out and can't access any features... I've paid for a year and it's asking me to sign up and pay again for some reason! No response from support in weeks. Pretty disappointing to say the least.
I've been using the curable app for a month or 2; completed most of the sessions; & repeated some. My pain seems less frequent and less overwhelming. I've felt good enough about it that I've also bought the workshops & am using them. I have real tools that are starting to make a difference.
After having had chronic lower back pain for 9 years, which has been treated, partially successfully, by an operation and various injections, I have found the Curable App educational, enlightening and at times emotional. The results have been impressive, and that's after only listening to all the previous podcasts and trying various exercises over the last 12 days in the 14 day free trial. I shall be extending the free trial into my first years subscription.
I've had debilitating back pain for 9 years. Had to quit work & had 3 needless surgeries. The pain got so bad, I became suicidal. Not wanting to do that to my family, I dug into the app's lessons & put everything I had into curing myself. I'm not finished & it's alot of work, but I'm sooo much better. The app teaches you how to pay attention to your body, how to be kind to yourself and how to heal from chronic pain. It walks you thru it all with lessons from experts. The techniques WORK!
The primary focus of the app seems to be about address fear of pain and the avoidance of certain activities that come with that. Unfortunately that isn't my problem. I don't assume activities will cause me pain and always push myself to try things. I would have loved more exercises about how to relax or manage my pain but if the app has them it provided no easy way to access them. The app needs to ask more questions and allow feedback on if the exercises are relevant
I was wary about this app, as I thought maybe it'd try to focus on how much pain is in your own head, negating the fact that sometimes you just have to accept you have a condition that causes pain. But I find this app very helpful in many ways, it's like my personal therapist to go to when I'm in need of help, instead of waiting for appointments. It caters the content to your needs and personality and I've already found the education and meditations very helpful. I will continue to use it.
Started using the app, but it contains a subscription trap. This app is designed for people who can be very vulnerable, so I find it inappropriate that I was offered a "subscribe now, only 2 days to try this 2 weeks free offer" deal since I am unable to find the costs of a subscription. I need to financially plan BEFORE I become dependent on the app as a support in pain relief. I cannot choose between financial stress of unknown size and pain management techniques I can't try. Disappointed.
A useful anchor , I like the journey mapping, the brain training and education sections particularly. The meditations are all pretty much the same tho - some variation would be good
I am currently in the depths of depression and chronic pain, and this app is helping me to see light ahead. It is opening my eyes to painful truths that have been holding me hostage for years now, and although it brings up the difficult feelings that I've trained myself to avoid, it gently carries me through them 🤲 I feel a powerful constant support from this app that I've not been able to find elsewhere. I'm extremely grateful to the creators of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
I am so happy about this app but it has help me so much but soon the 14 day trial will be over for me and I am just here to say if you could have made payment monthly as well instead of once off or have a month to month membership, this would help many as well. Thank you for this app and the help it has given me in this 14 days. Keep it up!
This app provides interesting information about the science pain, and useful self help exercises. Even if you don't entirely agree with Curable's perspective on pain its a useful exercise to challenge your assumptions and thoughts.
Curable has been invaluable in helping me understand the pain of my Fibromyalgia. Consequently, that helps me manage it which is improving my life and is helping get on with it. The meditations and visualisations are great for relaxation and sleep too. Worth every penny.
Support team answered me in 1 day. I forgot to unsubscribe and the payment was made. I wrote same day to get a refund ... yesterday they wrote. Otherwise the app is easy to use and there is a lot of info. But I was expecting some exercises too ... Phisical ones
Paid apps really need to stop pretending to be free. There is no free version or version you can try without giving your credit card information. If you had any faith in your system you would let people actually try it.
Such fascinating, helpful information and exercises. So many aha moments. Best of all was reading real people's stories in the fb group. Truly inspiring.
I'm on day 4 and I've already seen some improvements. I can totally understand how the science behind this app works and I'm so glad I found it. I can't wait to come back and write another review when I'm finally cured from my comfort issues.
While I was reading the reviews the app downloaded and installed itself. Decided to take a look only to have the app make my device hang when I refused to give my email address. Forget it!
This app is well worth the money. I've learnt so much already and after just a few weeks I have drastically reduced one of my chronic pain areas. I have also learnt how to turn down pain and talk to myself with nurturing self-soothing
At least be honest and advertise as a subscription not just as in app purchases. I went ahead and bought the app after the trial and enjoyed the way the app is easy to use and has many helpful hints and information.
A must have for anyone with chronic pain and/or trauma. This app is very well designed and easy to navigate. The tools are invaluable to improve one's quality of life.
I started using this app out desperation due to my complex health issues. I have found the app approachable, useful, relevant, informative, and empowering. I look forward to each session after better despite facing the same health issues. I highly recommend this app if you are looking to doing something.positive for yourself and to improve your outlook about your health even if things are out of your control.
Probably a very good app but advertised misleadingly as free when it is not. Dishonest marketing, hence the 2 stars.
I was very doubtful it would help, but genuinely blown away by how helpful I have found it. the information about how pain works alone has been worth it. it's also a great way to explore the deeper harder stuff to deal with in your life without fearing the judgement of others. I am so appreciative of this app!
I have found this app to be very helpful. I still have a ways to go but feel curable has set me on the correct path.
I purchased one year of Curable and the education, meditations and writing exercises are brilliant and got me through a difficult period of back pain. A lot of love went into this app, and the science is encouraging and refreshing. However, without more variety of content, I can't justify continuing into a second year. I feel like I have absorbed all the app has to offer for now. Thank you for your help, Curable!
