Intellectually thrilling! There is so much choice in history, technology, innovation, universe, natural science that one could never be bored. And the yearly tariff is really not a large price to pay. In this difficult period where we are deprived of travel privileges, restaurant privileges etc I am so happy to travel the silk road, learn the history of Europe, discover modern cities and ancient cultures. Keep up the good work, the whole concept is pure excellence.

I have a hard time trying to enjoy the app. Everytime I switch to another app and come back it crashes. It fails to remember where I left the videos, it just continues from wherever it feels like. And on top even when it's working it's extremely slow. It's sad because you have great content. I wish I could spend more time here learning stuff instead of on YouTube or other apps but this is literally insufferable.

Great content, terrible user interface. Can't find what you're looking for. I keep seeing the ads for Heval which I can't find! If you're watching a series with multiple episodes, you can't simply go to the next episode??? Watch lists are different on the TV and mobile! My stuff doesn't exist on TV app! Omg! Dev team, just use Netflix or YouTube for a day and compare the apps!

The app experience is baffling to me. Here I am watching a series and instead of playing the next episode of the series, it plays something totally unrelated. I have to manually get out of floating miniplayer and change it. Sometimes it says five episodes but you have to search up the name in order to get the rest of the series. It baffles me why this happens. Stupid app. Content wise, cool.

Update: some of the below appear to be fixed, but now your menu at screen bottom is being overlapped by android's on screen buttons. Move menu to top of screen. --------- Using Android app. Can not delete from watch list and the back key will not work to go back to play video from various settings . Also will not go back to where I last viewed the video. The whole user interface is horrible. And you want me to pay for this? Good thing my supplier provides it free.

I started out loving this app and the last few "updates" have left the app more and more broken. If i tap on a series the episode list that shows is actually just different shows or documentaries instead of the actual episodes. When i finish watching an episode it doesn't go to the next episode it then skips to an entirely different program even though there are more episodes in the series im watching. It worse with the "continue watching" option. Please fix this so i can give 5*!

Great shows but only 1 star for a very bad app experience. It never remembers what I was watching and I have to search it again. App for Android TV is even worse. Menu constantly blocks and you can't navigate until you force kill the app and restart it. And of course you have to search or navigate again to the same show. Nothing being remembered.

App is now unplayable! Since the last update screen rotation is exactly opposite to what I want, no matter how I turn my device it always shows things at a 90 degree angle. Plus It keeps shutting down every time I push any button. Went from a 100% fan to absolute rubbish overnight. Unwatchable!

New to this App, installed on my Samsung tablet running Android 11. I started out trying to D/L 3 titles in one go all in medium quality, all stalled at about 50%. After 2 days of trying I then deleted 2 of them but the first would still not D/L. I checked my storage space and and I've got Gb's of free space left. Finally I gave up and tried another title, it took nearly 5 hours to D/L but I was successful UNTIL I tried to play it, the app reports unable to play when D/Loading file even though the app shows it as saved, again I've been waiting over 24 hrs now. I'd like to point out that I have a 72 mb connection at home as it's not that and YES I have restarted the tablet So it seems it's possibly a very buggy piece of software OR its set to run on only the VERY latest devices only. No real issues steaming live unless you count having a problem trying to watch in landscape some times. I've now just installed Nebular and will give that a try.

Idk it's not well designed. It pauses when you leave the app. You also can't scroll or look for stuff while playing something. It's just not as easy to use as YouTube and I guess I wasted a years subscription on this. Content wise, I guess there's the YouTube stuff too but there are way too many documentaries instead of simple fun videos like YouTube. So not fun. Not really recommendinh this to anyone. I guess I expected too much from this.

I have the app on android, and it is useless. I cannot search for titles because of a bug that double types everything I type. Any downloads that I attempt takes more than 2 days at the lowest video quality. Luckily I got this on sale and I can at least use curiosity stream on my TV at home. I specifically signed up for curiosity stream to downliad content to consume on the go. This is a shame because the content is really good.

These guys have a sever quality issue and the documentaries don't make sense. Lots of scenes are not complete. The voice artist was speaking and suddenly there was a glitch and his voice disappeared while the video is playing. Will never recommend it.

Royally pissed because I downloaded this last night after signing up and woke up this morning to discover it chewed up HALF MY MONTH'S DATA IN THE BACKGROUND while I was sleeping. I think it only stopped b/c I hit my limit. (It used 0.9 GB out of 2GB; no other app comes close) Seems like a good app otherwise- but turn off background data permission settings as soon as you install it!

It's has really good documentaries, definitely worth the subscription. However, it's a little difficult to navigate. If I click on a series it only lets me play the first episode. Have to actually shearch the show to see all other episodes. But again, very well produced documentaries.

Nice library. Bad software. Some are very slow to load or not load at all. Saved videos sometime would not play. When backtracking videos, it has to load again, which is very annoying since this is a documentary and you'd want to hear something again.

All of the content on Curiosity Stream is two years old or older. Also, whatever series there are only have five episodes or less. The number of titles they have is not as vast as they advertise. This company needs to update their content, as well as add new titles with more interesting topics.

Downloading within the app needs improvements. After very slow download speeds none of the titles downloaded will even playback...download error is all I get. The content is good but the user interface and app are simple terrible to use!

The content is good but I've been having playback issues on my Sony Android tv. At times,when I open the app, it just throws an error message "playback failed" and I have to reboot my tv for it to work.

Poor UX Content might be okay becuase i am not able to explore it, it say x title has 3 episode but you can see only 1st episode and below 1st episode you see other series, why? Then i decided to login on TV and my login was rejected everytime, and i can not even view my password after entering or worst even letter as you type are not shown! who decided that its a good idea to let user type email and password with on screen keyboard and to make it more fun, lets not show what they type as passwd

Curiosity Stream covers everything from history to science, from the past, present to the asperations of the future. With features like screen off background play to PiP mode! Curiosity Stream has you covered and provides tons to geek over. I haven't closed the app since I started using it.

What a change from other streaming services. Lots of interesting documentries, shows about real relevant events, inventions and beyond. Like space beyond and other cool out of this world data. Getting the 4K subscription for a year was worth it to me, hands down

I feel cheated. So I have downloaded this app, after paying yearly subscription to enjoy my time while on plan and on train. Unfortunately after downloading content, you cannot play it offline. You will get the message 'Playback is displayed while downloading', for movies You jave downloaded before. Forget about offline watching

I love the content and library of videos. But the app is constantly buggy. Right now, I can't watch any saved videos on my android app. There is always an error message. Is there a help desk or tech support?

App freezes constantly, videos pause randomly and buffer so much, search features leave alot to be desired, and episode selection and resuming are lacking. Overall a very flawed app with lots of problems which is too bad as the content is amazing. If it wasn't bundled with nebula I'd cancel immediately.

Works well but lots of badly edited content. A lot of the content has both the original audio and the voiceover through each other, which makes it needlessly difficult to understand either. Don't get an account if you have even just minor audio processing issues.

Buggy, can't even download anything. It starts really fast but then instantly goes to a crawl and you need to forever close it and open it again. Repeat 1000 times for one video.

The content is amazing but the download function never works. If i try to watch something on the go that i downloaded before it always says error loading the video. Really sad becaue the content is so great.

This app can be so frustrating to use for the most basic of functionality. Simply trying to re-watch a show will have you pulling out your hair. It's near impossible to do so. The app also forces portrait mode when browsing. Like I said, the most basic functionality you expect in a streaming app, they haven't included it in this one. The shows and content available is awesome though!
