So, this app looks great, but it works only the first time after installing, after that the shortcut disappears from the device and only thing I can do is to uninstall it. The other (phone) version works fine on my Android TV box but it's not so optimized for the big screen like this version. I'm hoping this will be fixed very soon because this version is perfect for TV.
Great content, if you can watch it. The top menu bar keeps on disappearing, not letting you navigate to watch something. The only way to get it back is to close the app and reopen it. But then the menu bar disappears again. It's a good thing I caught this during the 7 day trial. I'm going to cancel and try it again when this issue is fixed.
I installed the app in Hisense android TV. No issues with installation and sign in. But after a lot of rewind, forward attempts, was able to watch one video. After that, none of the video plays. After watching in laptop, I thought of recommending and gifting it to my friends but not with these issues. Need improvisation guys.
Hi, I install the app on NVidia Shield TV, and it works well. BUT I cannot watch ANY video smoothly even try to reduce the resolution to 360p. I'm from Vietnam, Asia Pacific. Is there any way to improve this please? Then I will think about re-activate my subscription.

Video keeps pausing to a black screen. I presume this is because they don't use a buffer to cache the content.
useless. installs but no option to open. absolute waste of money, the other app is just as useless, why "update" something and completely ruin something that once worked!????

Can't sign in, it says use the keyboard on the phone, I used it, no input... app is broken.

Thanks for the quick response CS! :) The app doesn't have a 'continue watching' row, so the only way to fond out the shows you're watching is to go to the profile tab and click on currently watching. Even after doing this, if you select a show and click on resume, it doesn't work, the show always starts from the beginning. This is extremely annoying and renders the app useless. PLEASE FIX RESUME FUNCTIONALITY!!!!

Installed the app, but it is not in with my other apps, to open I have to go to downloaded apps, find curiositystream app and open it, not very convinient. I WROTE to you guys few months ago about this problem, no one replied back and problem is not solved.
The content catalogue seems great, but the viewing experience cannot be worse. Low res, buffer every few seconds. With luck, I can play 1 or 2 episodes before and goes back to being choppy again. My internet connection is fine, I can watch Netflix, Youtube, Vimeo and others in HD without any problem. I still on trial for now, but if this keep up, I will not renew my subscription.
I was incredibly excited about this app. But it was always buffering and choppy. If I did manage to get a selection to play, it would pause every five minutes to catch up. Just canceled my subscription.
Did not let me login Nvidia Shield. They resolved the issue fast. This service is an Excellent source for education programs. You stick to cable "Science Channels?" often are all UFO reality shows.... Not Science. This is commercial free too.
The app works really bad with Philips Android TV, the series are unusable. With my laptop I can watch the titles just fine with same connection. I expect CuriosityStream to fix their app, since you are already loosing money as I'm not your 4K subscriber due that.
What a great idea with poor delivery. This app is terrible. I looked at the other reviews and hoped it wouldn't happen to me. Now a days you will loose your customer base for such a bad app. I love curiosity, but don't go telling your customer reviews to change setting and it will fix it. This is an internal problem that needs to be fixed from the server.
I came across Curiosity through my Amazon Prime. I was looking to cancel my Prime and was happy to pay for Curiosity. However... The stream from Curiosity is all choppy and laggy. Video plays perfect through my Prime but video is awful playing through Curiosity app. I would like to know why. I have no issues with any of my streaming apps apart from Curiosity. I was looking forward to paying a subscription for this but not if its very laggy. Is it laggy because i'm just browsing or is it always laggy and choppy? Devs please respond.
