Curling3D is a fun curling simulation game for one or two players. Similar to shuffleboard, the game is played on a flat ice curling sheet, roughly 15x150 feet. Players slide round stones of about 40 pounds towards bull's eye targets at either end. Two teammates may use brooms to sweep the ice in front of the moving stone.
Curling3D attempts to simulate the excitement of the game by incorporating many aspects of the actual sport. Fundamentally, curling is about force, mass, friction, momentum, rotation and collision. The app exploits the sophisticated physics engine built into the Android OS to generate a convincing simulation of all these elements as they interact. In the terminology of curling, the weight is the velocity of the stone; the turn is the rotation of the stone (which affects its trajectory); and the line is the direction of the throw or delivery. Curling3D allows the player to continuously and independently control all three, permitting advanced tactics such as the guard, takeout, and tap. In addition, the app allows the player to sweep the ice while their stone is moving, adjusting trajectory after the delivery.

7HATE THIS GAME, I NEVER WIN, AND THE GAME IS GLITCHED (for me)
Having read the other points of views, I do question how many have actually played the real sport. This is NOT perfect but I find it's quite accurate. On occasions you do find a rouge stone, this is annoying but part of the game. Things I would change, the stones travel to quickly, the time from release to the line should be about 14 seconds, secondly ability to sweep past the t-line would add to the game. Other possible additional features could be a shot clock allowing 38 minutes to complete the game instead of 30 seconds per shot also game stats that give accuracy, take out and drawing data. All all though a worthy computerized attempt of a simple but technical game.
I cannot get further than the menu screen before it closes down
You can only have 4 stones and 4 ends for free. TOTAL RIP OFF
Players should have more direct control of the rock's path and destination. How many people downloading this want to have to master interface controllers? No, most people want to experience the strategy unobstructed by gui.

Curl is unpredictable, you cannot sweep opponent stones past the t-line, the computer throws stones without handle, and the physics are a joke. It's fun for goofing around, but this doesn't simulate curling well at all.
It took me a bit to learn how to through or roll which I am still trying to get better at but I can really use help with sweeping I know you do it in front of the stone but that's all i can understand so please send me some instructions before I delete it thanks

This is fun. Hopefully more peeps start playing so multiplayer function will be more eventful.
This wont work on my old tablet now. The new tablet plays it but the game play is inconsistent. Rock curls the wrong way??? Direction arrow isn't as accurate as the old app. Don't download. Annoying adds now too.

This game helps with the strategy of curling. That's a positive. One in between comment: It's easy to get really good. One negative comment: throwing the rok straight and without "handle", or putting a turn on the rok should not give a player an accurate throw. This isn't realistic.
Best curling game on android by far! However, after playing about 3 games on each difficulty, I can't now can shutout my opponent every game and steal on every end. I wanted to buy it because it was so good, but im not going to buy a game that is this easy.
This game is a great curling experience. If you remotely like curling this game is for you. It doesn't have as many features as the full version but it is still an awesome game. It takes a while to get used to playing, as any game would. This is the curling game of the century. Anyone who rates this less than perfect is clearly not a curling fan. Amazing game!!!

This is a very good game that can keep you entertained for a long time. However, after getting the free version, I then paid to get the full version. The next time I went on the game it didn't acknowledge that I had paid for the full version so I couldn't play it until the time limit had gone.
The free version only lets you play one game every 24 hours but its been 3 days since its let me play, if you buy the full version that doesn't include multiplayer which cost extra. Besides that the game is fun but the developer makes you jump through hoops to play it. Not worth the trouble
...like other reviewers, the issue with paying for the game and then not being able to play it, is a major issue. I'm thinking that the game needs a data/network connection in that respect, because after paying for the full game, that seems to be the only time I can play. That 's frustrating to me, because the times I most WANT to play, I do not have the luxury of a data or wifi connection. It's really disturbing that the creators are aware of this and have done nothing to fix this. If you havent paid..DONT
