Overall, Curvy has great features and no glitches or kicking me out every hour or so like most apps. It has great exploring matches capabilities and definitely delves into what you really want and what you're looking for. I hope later in the future it can provide me with what I want and I'll continue to use it happily. Great place to try new things and enjoy a different kinda lifestyle.
The only problem i have about Curvy app is the distance. There is no where to set the distance when you're doing a search so you end up getting people 50 miles away. And you should also be able to filter out race. I do like that you can go back one if you accidentally swipe left. Nice one.
It is a total waste! It literally takes DAYS to get pictures approved before going up on profile. I figured if I became a "premium member" by paying, they would approve pics... NOPE. Someone sent me a flower but I can't message them or look at their profile because they have been sitting in limbo status as well. I want my money back. Their algorithm is stupid as well... I try to search for people close to me and it lists random cities in my state, not in distance order like is says it will do.
This app has good features like seeing others near you by distance, profiles, and pictures. It's really nice that you can respond to messages without having to upgrade or pay money. Give it some time and this app can help you find the arrangement you're looking for; it did for me:)
I wish i could rate rhis app higher. If the point of meeting someone is to develop some sort lf relationship with them, it would be important to actually talk to them. You CANNOT message ANYONE without a paid membership. I'd love to be able to increase the rating of this app, because I feel it has some real potential. Unfortunately, I cannot experience the vast majority of the app.
Wow Im so glad I found this app! What a great concept and def one of a kind. I love the fact that it focuses on the plus size people like myself and serves as a platform for us to find each other when its hard enough for us to get out there already with the other types of apps around these days. I like the fact that its easy to use and simple even for the not so very tech savvy individuals. they also have a lot of optional plans that you can choose from depending on your liking and need. Love the fact that its constantly updating too. Give it a try and you wont regret!
This app doesn't even deserve 1 star. Like 98% of the apps I have on my phone, this app is advertised as "free with in app purchases", the difference is I can actually USE those other apps. It's not just simply ignoring some pop up ads or not paying to see if your messages were read, you have to PAY FOR EVERYTHING with 1 minor free thing. The app allows you to "browse" for free, lol, it let's you see maybe 10 pics before cutting you off & asking you to upgrade. Makes you wait 10-11 hours before you can browse through another measly 10 AND the pics shown aren't even in your area (600 miles away-yeah, that'll work). You can't see who liked, winked at you, or favorited you without paying. So think about it... Even if I did swipe right on 1 of the 10 free pics I'd have to hope that the guy on the other end likes "curvy" women so much that he was dumb enough to pay for this app or he'd never know I was interested. Useless app unless you have disposable cash to spend.
I downloaded this app to meet friends. Right away I found it easy to use and very straight to the point. I got to swipe left or right and make a selection based on a number of photos and profiles. Some very pretty ladies were on here, all local. not all profiles were filled out, but I notice a lot of singles don’t seem to do this. They think it’s all about pictures but it’s actually about personality. But anyway after swiping for a while I got a few matches and got to chat with a certain girl. Very pretty, arranged to meet at a local restaurant later this week. One of the best features is a moment option which lets you post publicly like a Facebook wall and get likes from others. Best of all you can do a search and send message to someone you like for free. The app is a lot of fun.
After months of being on this app I finally matched with someone only to be told I had to pay a subscription to be able to message them. Outrageous this app has such a high score when you can't meet people without paying money. What's more, the site keeps matching me with girls from other countries and would often let me search for one girl then say I'd used up all my searches. Terrible app, no point in downloading it.

Even tho I have to give it a start I'd rather give it a 0/5 stars. Shows people are 10 miles from you when really they are hours away. You cant send messages or receive them unless you up grade. It also took way more then it stated it would. I bought the one month subscribtion and to 75 dollars more then the actually cost of the subscription and they wont refund it. Pof is much better. Curvy is a rip off and a scam. Dont do it if your actually looking for something real and genuine.

Easy to use. Just needs more exposure to get people to become members. One can exhaust reading all the profiles from potential dates in a 100 mile radius in a day or two. All the photos say uploaded one month ago, and it's obvious the person hasn't been back at all during that month. For paying members they need two key things, at least. One, confirmation that sent messages were read. Two, when were people last using the app. Were they curious for a day and bolted?
