Would be 5 if only it had the ability to create or add to a deck on the fly from current hand, draw or discard decks. I noticed you can add to a deck whilst it has discard and hand which is fantastic but needs you to do it from stored images. Then would be great for deck builders.
Great app! I was looking for a app just like this to test some pnp games. Also I have some sets of dice with text that are not embedded into the dice, so I don't like to roll them around to much because I'm afraid the text might rub off; not anymore though, thanks to this great app I can recreate those same dice and roll with out any fear 😊 Remember you have to tap reroll not new roll; new roll is only when you want to reset the reroll count.
It fits my needs perfectly. I like that I can import pictures to create my own dice. My only suggestion would be to be able to create other types of dice ie 8, 10 and 20 sided dice. Overall Good job!
The dice feature is perfect and very helpful. The card feature may need some additions. If you could draw more than one card and could view your hand more directly, it would be great.
Awesome App. The amount of "Image Dice" it lets you roll in one attempt is astounding. I've combined this with another app to design custom images/text - and insert them in. The possibilities are really only limited by your imagination.
For prototyping or just playing games with custom dice - this app is superb! I can make almost any conceivable dice including D3, D5 or D7's with any dice face you can design. Although having a different coloured "New Roll" and "Reroll" buttons would make it even better.
It's easy to import card decks and if all you need is a card randomizer it's fine. The "hand" feature needs a lot of work. It only displays the most recent card in your hand and youth must discard that card to see the next most recent card added to your hand. I would also like to see multiple hands or dealt to piles. You also automatically draw a new card when you shuffle or discard, which is not ideal of you don't want the top card of your deck visible.
Overall pretty good. Would like more options to view when browsing through the folders on the phone to add custom dice sides.
Adding images to dice is not intuitive at all, and there is no help. For now, totally useless for what I intended.
I use this app for tabletop roleplaying games which require drawing cards for various purposes (Mythic, GM Apprentice, Coriolis Icon, etc). It is absolutely wonderful and I fully recommend it!
naaah. wanted to create custom dice and after adding I couldn't create any dice. just add pictures, remove them or rename that dice.
This app is fantastic and can be used in so many different useful ways. I have been finding more and more uses for it this past week. Great job and keep up the good work!
Easy to use and does everything it advertises.
Easy to use and a useful tool for aspiring game designers.
Great app. Free no trailers. Dev is on BGG and very helpful about new dice sets.
Would be great with an invisible top card option.
lousy app. only rolls one dice in a set.. appears to be broken.
Love the ability to customize😂
Excellent job, Thanks!
Does the dice customization well
Couldn't create one
Such a great app... My tablet with a sketchbook app as my tabletop, with this app as my dice... Awesome.
Nice and simple dice app. The feature for cards is pretty lacking. If you want to use something for card images you would be better off just creating a regular photo album. The card feature is odd, you can shuffle and draw but all you can see is the last card drawn, not your whole hand. Also would be better if the image selection was in a visual album format instead of a list of file names.
Oh my God this is awesome. I just took screen shots of Deep Space D-6 rulebook and made custom dice in less than 10 minutes. It took me like two hours to make 5 custom dice last week. And you can freeze dice in place until you get what you need to add them back to supply. Too perfect! Doing 30 Rails next.
Fantastic! I needed to playtest something with lots of custom dice per player. With CID, I created each custom die, then specified how many of each are in the standard dice pool. From there, each player can add and remove those custom dice to/from their pool for any given turn, and just reset the pool for next turn. It can even export and import configurations, making it easy to get new players set up. It can import from Drive (brilliant); however, sadly, it cannot [yet] directly export to Drive, so you have to go into drive, then fish the file system for the zip file.
This is a beautiful app, allowing me to create my custom cards and dice to play my custom card /board games. I love the ability to import, export, add unlimited images, discard, shuffle, etc. The only thing missing for me is I need to be able to see my hand like I can see the discard pile, and select a card to discard from all the cards in my hand not just the last card drawn. It would be really cool if I could play with the same deck with another android user. Many thanks to the creator, amazing app!
Great app, and really useful. However, the custom deck function is significantly marred by the "hand" functionality. It absolutely needs to let you view the "cards in hand" the same way you can already view the cards in deck. Saving the deck state when you move from deck to dice or between multiple decks would also be fantastic.
I have yet to use it in play, but very simple and quick.. one thing it needs for me to love it is the ability to manually adjust the dice to a desired face. For games like starwars(the focus mechanic allows for manually switching the dice)
Great idea and simple app! I keep getting an "Import Failed: Unknown Error" when trying to import a dice set from their site though.
So far so good. I was trying to find a way to use the Gamesmaster's apprentice cards from Larcenous Designs without printing them out as I don't have a card laminator and my printer is bi-polar. The images are clear and crisp and I love being able to pull multiple cards and view them all at once.
