I'm a teacher and use it to play short music in my classroom. Although, it takes a bit of effort and time to set it up initially, I like this app. The only complaint I have is that once the source file is removed, there is no way to either delete or edit the button. This is extremely inconvenient and I would like to ask the developer to add a function to edit the button with missing file. Thank you.
This app does everything I need, but not everything I want. I really want to set different colors to different buttons on the same sound board. I prefer to use as few different soundboards as possible. Update Sept 2019: I used this reliably for 3+ years. But it stopped working after I updated my operating system, and I can't get it to work by reinstalling.
My original review read "This app is everything I need minus one feature. A pro version with NO ADS. Please provide that and I will give you 5 stars." Less than 24 hours later I received an email from the developer saying, "Done". If you are looking to create a custom soundboard app for Android this is the only app you will need. It is the only one of its kind. And, to have a developer so dedicated to customer service is worth the the low cost of this app.
This app is great for custom soundboards. I've tried them all and this is close to perfect. I would only add a few things to make it perfect: 1) Add the ability to crop a sound/song so you can play from 00:15- 1:02. This was in another product and I really liked it. 2) Make the Soundboards easier to access. It's cumbersome too change from one soundboard to another. A drop-down on the main toolbar would be perfect, or a slide out menu on the left with all boards listed. 3) Fade Out button - Next to the STOP button it would be great to have a button that simply fades out the music playing (rather than the abrupt stop). With these features it would be the best on the market and FIVE Stars for sure.
Best customizable soundboard app I've found. I can use any mp3 to be a sound effect and can allow it to loop while other sound effects can get played over it. It doesn't come with any sound effects so I have to add my own. Worth paying for to support the dev and get rid of the ads.
Wanted to use it for the kid to learn some sounds. Unfortunately it presents ridiculously huge buttons on a tablet. Moving buttons around is a pain and there's no way to re-record a sound for a button. As a developer I judge this to be a rough first attempt but not good enough.
It's too easy to accidentally switch screens while scrolling through the sound buttons. Very frustrating when I'm trying to find the right sound effect while announcing a hockey game and I end up looking at a blank screen. I have the paid version.
It's very good, but it could be perfect: - Make a smooth transition between soundboards when swiping and enable swiping on the buttons too (not only space) - Make the moving of buttons easier (Press & hold like the main screen apps) - Add "custom color" for the button colors, which opens a color mixer - Maybe make "folders" for buttons similar to the ones for the apps on the main screen - Enable "playable over buttons" to also play over each other And then there is a bug: - When the audio file gets deleted, it says "delete and recreate button" but you can't because when you press&hold it also gives that error message. Add/Fix those things and you have a FIVE STAR APP!
The App is great. But I'm having trouble of moving the sound boxes or interchange them in a faster and easier way. I'm hoping you could upgrade it. Thanks.
Unable to change font size. I wanted to use this app for children with exceptionalities who have difficulty prodcing speech, but I'm unable to change the font size, and since its so tiny, there is no way the students coul read it.
I like it, has all the functionality that I need but I would like to suggest to change the way you can move tiles (maybe an edit mode where you can drag them). It's super annoying having to move it left or right one at a time.
1) not possible to edit a button 2)uses the internal filemanager not the "default app" for this function
The app is perfect eccept this minor setback. The sounds disappear. It says that the sound file was removed but i have the sound apps i got them from. Please sort it out.
I love this app so much it's so awesome I have a soundboard of me and my sisters
Works great, except for one thing. If you make a soundboard and then move or delete the source audio, you lose the option to remove that sound's button from the board.
Simple and effective app - you add your sounds to buttons, making a custom soundboard.
I dj. Tomorrow I'm gonna have 20,000 people this app is perfect for my samples I made to put in. Love it thanks!
I downloaded this for a single tiny audio file, just so I could play it on quick reference yet, as I looked through it I was astounded by how much you could do and how easily you can do it all. Extremely user friendly and chock full of great features.
Easy to use and customise. Can create mutiple boards. And no ads to be seen :-)
Use the devices default music player to pick out sound file. Also round out the boxes slightly, it would look much nicer. And for the image background, use the devices android crop settings to crop an image
I make YouTube videos, and i was looking for a soundboard that wouldnt lose me a copyright point, and i just recorded my own!
Well worth the 99¢ to remove the ads. Would be even better if I could move the buttons around more quickly and easily. Perhaps for a future update. Keep up the great work!
Took me a while to find a soundboard app that can let you choose your own. And here it is! Works completely well, and will probably be added as one of my fav soundboard app!
Exactly the soundboard I was looking for! Low memory usage and quite customizable... Best buck I've spent for a while (In App Purchase). Running on Android 4.4.2.
Wish I could share this to facebook, the app functions perfectly but lacks the share to social media capability😢
It crashes on Android 7.0+ (last time I checked) when choosing what sound to add but it works better on Android 4.4 Can you fix it
Was my go to app for sound FX. Realized it does not support 32 bit WAV. Found a new one that does.
Whenever I try to set a background image, an error appears saying to choose an image on the device.
Confusing as hell. I don't understand why u can't just make it more simple to add a sound. It also won't let me add a background.
