FAQ========Question 1: Does the Custom Watch replace the native watch?Answer: No. Nobody can replace the native watch. But we implemented an autostart option for Custom Watch on SmartWatch 2. This means Custom Watch will start automatically so it will almost feel like the native watch.On your SmartWatch 1 you can run the "Custom Watch" with the option "Use as wrist watch" to run the "Custom Watch" App permanently till you stop this app. It will also restart after connection is lost.
Question 2: Does the "Custom Watch" decrease the battery life of my SmartWatch?Answer:Sure. If you use an app it will always reduce the battery life on all devices, especialy if use it permanently.But, thanks to Sonys last update the low power mode can be used on Sony SmartWatch 2 (SW2) now.So we maximized the battery lifetime for SmartWatch2.For SmartWatch 1 users here are some tips:The display of the Smart Watch decrease the battery life most, so we implemented two options for you:
* "Dim after 10 seconds" to dim down the SmartWatch display after 10 seconds till you touch the display.
* "Stand by after 10 seconds" to turns of the display after 10 seconds and will wake up after touching the display.So it is your choice how much energy you save.
Question 3: Is it possible to display the battery level of the SmartWatch.Answer:No. There is no possibility to read out the battery sensor of the SmartWatch at this time.

Pros: P1. The missing "tap to wake" functionality in the SW2 is a huge disappointment, and this app gives it back... in a fashion. P2. SW2 low power mode does work as advertised. Cons: C1. Notifications are overridden by the display C2. Wont run when bluetooth is in disconnected mode... so will revert to stock watch faces. Alas only Sony can fix this one.
great work, especially when one can make their own designs. just wanted to ask if you can add "seconds" to the app as well . also, could you add the background visibility while the watch goes to sleep mode. thanks again
... the whole thing ruined by the simple fact that you are forced to keep the bluetooth on or it won't work. For me, that makes it unusable. To the developer: it is not true that having the bluetooth on is indispensable, as I am using another app, not so complete design wise as yours, but it adds the watch face I want to use to the Smartwatch's native watch face selection, so I can select it as any other of the native watch faces and use it at will without my bluetooth on. You could use the same idea.
This is a difficult one to rate as the app is superb but due to the limitations of the watch when this is running you get no full notifications so it makes it useless. Wish this watch was made by any other company than Sony. The only way I can see this working is if the Dev can incorporate notifications in the app itself
The new monochrome mode is awesome and drains battery much slower, though not as slow as the normal watch face. However, keeping the watch "in sync" seems to prevent deep sleep on my Xperia T, 4.1.2. Is this a reported problem with any other handset?
It's a nice app with good features, but I find confusing how it is supposed to work. Sometimes it works flawless, others, does not return to the watch face and shows the native clock. At times it doesn't turn on the back light. It's a good idea, but I think it needs more work.

This app is a must have for SW2, with the new power modes it will barely use any more power than the stock clock. Great developer that's always happy to help with any problems.
I was looking for this watch which can make display always on...but it should have brightness control or backlit intensity control also....
I like this app better than the default one. Happy that i can now set it to turn the backlight off while the app is running. Wish that the am pm mode did not display a leading zero. Technically there should only be a zero in 24hr mode. Wish I could change the size and position of the date separately to the time. Wish I could choose the date format.
The updates fixed all the bugs. I can see my image in low light, mono mode. Sony pay attention!! This is how an app is done for a smartwatch! I like the new faces too. Can you make a standalone pedometer app, too :-)?
Sadly while this app is great on the surface, I want to be able to see notifications like the stock watch face allows. Without this it's pointless.
Was a really good app but since watch faces do not run as widgets, which was made avaliable in April 2014, the app is limiting. There have been no updates for about a year now.
I love this because I can customize it just the way I like it, but it won't stay saved as my current watch face. Can you fix it with an update?

With Sony's latest update its now possible for developers to create widgets for the sw2. I would love to be able to use these custom warchfaces as offline widgets on my sw2.

OK but it turns your smart watch into a watch. It has very nice watch screens which will stay on and look like a watch but spoils all the notifications coming through as it hogs the screen. So you have to ask your self, do you want a smart watch which interfaces with your phone bringing you the latest info, or a watch. I'm sorry because I like the app, but missing the main advantages of a smart watch means I'm out on this one, :-(
