Can't install. Goes to 97% then freezes. Same problem after cache and data clear. Finally got it to install, thanks. Quite interesting app. Improvements for me would be to have lists attached to a month or just standalone. Also a web version synchronised to app would be cool.

You are the best! S.o.s... Seems I can no longer select multiple images at once and have to upload one image at a time. What's up with that? This is by far the best journaling app ever... I've tried several but this is the one. Have used it for over a year now and I absolutely loved it. Changed phones midway and though the data back and restoration process was a little cumbersome, I'm just so grateful I could keep everything and just continue where I left off. Thank you developers for this gem.

Very glitchy. At one point it went black as I was attempting to pick a "template". Then as I finally done the tutorial it went completely white. Brought me back to the playstore but not to this app, but one I was at about an hour ago. I was looking forward to using this app. Oh well.

Finally found an app that can be used to replicate the "Theme System Journal" by CGP Grey. I just wish I could also use the rich text edit and photos features of the other journal app. For $20/year, I shouldn't have to also buy a second app, and maintain a completely separate journal if I want to stylize some text in a journal entry. Would also be nice if there was a desktop/Windows app. Or at least if this app was in the Amazon app store, for when Windows 11 finally officially supports Android apps from the Amazon app store. But even without the rich text editor, or photos, or a desktop app, this is still the best journal app I have found for custom template journaling. *EDIT* I see now, you CAN add images to journal posts. So it's just the rich text that's I'm missing.

Simple but flexible, I've been using it for over a year and I've never stuck with any journaling system for that long. Big bonus points for not harvesting and selling user data!

This is one of the fastest apps to set up in terms of creating custom templates for a more personalised journal. You can have a selection of books (categories) you can do so much with this app. LOVE IT ❤️ great for visual people too. 👏 Keep up the good work developers xx

Simple and elegant journal app, and the first one I've been able to stick with for more than a week. Initially, I had some sync issues when using across multiple devices, but these cleared up. The dev was also very responsive when I emailed him. My only real complaint about this app was the old icon (imo awful), which really stood out in my Chromebook shelf. This latest update corrected that--I love it! Great work.

I like this app alot. I just have two requests. 1. Please add tagging entries to make things easier to find. 2. It would be nice to able to add images to more than just the main entry on a single day. I mean if you have more than one templet box on that day ... I'd like to decorate each with images. I love the unlimited books and the ability to change the main background. It would also be nice to maybe be able to change backgrounds for each journal book. Overall ...a great app!!!

Awesome app. I was looking for a structured but flexible journal to prompt myself and this completely nails it. Simple interface, easy to create questions, easy to enter journal entries. Would love to see a few more question types in the future (drop-downs, multiple choice/radio buttons, maybe a scale/slider type). Would also love to see some way of doing entries from a PC or online. Great job on this, and keep up the good work!

I am a person who can never find The Journal, and drawing out my own templates every day is just too much. Ain't nobody got time for that! When I found this, it was like the gates of heaven opened. I can create my perfect journal pages (daily, weekly, habits, monthly, etc.) and use them in any order. Another thing that bothers me about physical journals, even though I love pen to paper writing, is the wasted paper and clutter. None of that with this app! A copy and paste option would be nice.

Unfotunately changing font will change it every where, By the way that's not so important. I found the option of choosing each line for habbits in "new" option in statitics. Thank you for this great app and your great support. I was looking for such a thing for a long time. Just one more small suggestion: Take a look at "Habits" app on the playstore (the one with blue icon and a refresh simbol on it) they have very beautiful widgets. You may add such things in future.

Once I figured out how to edit, create and add templates, Which is fairly intuitive, I Love this app! I love it mainly because it fits whatever I do in life and want to journal about. I've journaled in paper books before and have stared at blank pages before. I love having custom writing prompts geared toward my interests, dreams and goals. Some activities I do only weekly or monthly, so being able to add a special template for those events only, helps me keep the daily journal simple.

It's great, I love it so much. Up until now I've designed my own wellness journal on the computer and filled in with pen. But this so much quicker and easier to do. I love how I could customise everything. It took me about a week to familiarise myself with the software and design everything I had in my own journal. One thing I would ask if you could add the use of a table into it. I gave 5 stars as I think a lot of thought went into planning this app. I even bought the yearly premium after trial

The free version is superb. I went premium primarily to support the developer. This is a journaling app in which you can create multiple custom page templates. I've been doing Noom and I've been able to edit my page template to incorporate the various challenges. Amongst other things premium gives you back up to Google drive and use of Google drive to sync across devices.

An amazing app and unique in its functionality. I was looking for a number of apps to cover things I am grateful for, another to remind me to take my vitamins and drink water and another to add a to-do list to be more productive. I researched quite a few, installing and then almost immediately uninstalling as they were were not very good. Then I came across this app which has ALL these features and more in one app. It's modern, clean format is easy to use. I love it and highly recommend it.

Truly exceptional app! I tried a few others before I found CustomJournal. I dumped one after a few minutes, found another that wasn't bad at all, then found this one which is in a class all by itself - nothing else I've seen comes close. This app is so well thought out with its ability to customize your own format. Honestly, the free version was really sufficient for me but I paid for the premium version just because the app is so good that the developers deserve to get paid for it.

This is hands down one of the best designed play store apps I've ever come across. Been looking at five minute journal and a bunch of others. Nothing comes close to how powerful, flexible & simple this is once your own templates are setup how you want them. It comes with extremely flexible templates for journals, habit checklists, weekly/ monthly reviews, 2 reminders a day, excellent widget and thats all completely free. Truly excellent design!! Thank you developer for your time and energy!

Love this journal app! You really can customize your own journal. I like how easy it is to create a template and schedule it. And there are some great options: text field for a long answer, check list, multiple choice, short answer, and you can even add a banner for a title. Highly recommend.

very helpful. constantly updated. the simple yet powerful customisation makes it a tool that can tailor to your specific needs, even as they change. the premium version is completely not necessary for regular usage, but well worth the small price to support continued development (and the small perks are nice too!)

I am inordinately impressed by customabilty of ANYTHING which advises my choice of apps. My background, messaging app, and keyboard all match. Now this journal. If I can't make it match exactly I will contact the developer. In the meantime I will coordinate it to the other things. Can write freestyle or use templates or both. There are options for sharing. Love this app! So customisable. Will make Journaling more effective and easier to stick to. Easy to use as well! Love that you can use fingerprint to unlock access to the app. Other features I would like to see: - Daily motivational quotes. - Acces via web site. One of the best apps I have downloaded. A+ App - Combines multiple apps into 1 and is password protected After customizing a template, I was able to combine check list, journal entry, gratitude journal and other items into a single app. This morning I was able to delete 3 apps that I had been using. I love having everything I need in one place and that I can change it to suite my needs. I wish I had found this app month's ago!

This app is pretty good but still a bit buggy. There is a major glitch when I try to export my journal as a pdf. It freezes up and closes. The progress bar stays there forever. It would be good to be able to save all my journal entries.

If you could only add pics inline ,and obviously it only allows you to add one at a time from gallery(have tried holding the file to select it)so you have to strike that add image option many times. Doesn't allow audio...Also it allows set background. Overall sync and basic features need more work her
