I've been using the app for awhile. It started opening slow and then not at all. I've had to uninstall and start over. Without a reliable app, I'll be changing institutions. I do not recommend the app or the banking because besides the recent issues there were too many times that it was down for maintenance and the maintenance times were long.
Like that I can easily transfer funds between accounts. However, recently the screen to view the activity report is white and doesn't load properly. Please look into this. This has been going on for multiple times already when trying to log in and out. I click on my account to view the activity history and nothing loads.
I have been with this credit union for a very long time and I can't say that I have had much of anything happen to me or to complain about, but this ragedy app they got now, is thinking on it's. My password is constantly asking to reset passwords or the finger print don't want to scan not to mention getting stuck. You people need to check this out this problem and findout what the problem is and fix it. This os supposed to be convenient so make it convenient.
I absolutely love CUTX but this app is honestly a headache. Since the last couple of updates the account balance doesn't update for hours at a time. The transactions will be accurate but sometimes it's 24 hours before the balance total ads up. It's frustrating because CUTX is the best bank I've ever had and have been with them for 6+ years. The app used to be better about account balance updates. Please fix.
Update on J7 issue: They sent an email telling me to uninstall the app, restart my phone and install it again. It seems to work now! Original review: It was fine until my phone's software update, now it closes immediately when I tap on the app.
Downloaded this app because I moved to another state other than Texas, but State Comptroller still sends my checks to CUTX. While I can access my accounts via the app, I was really hoping to make use of the check deposit. No matter what I do, I get an error message. I have a Samsung 20 +, and it has an outstanding camera. So much for quicker deposits than snail mail. I'm forced to resort to USPS. CUTX, WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO TO GET YOU TO MAKE THIS WORK?
Fantastic app with great functionality. I can do just about anything I ever need to without having to go to a local branch or calling. The developers did a great job! Also CUTX is a blessing of a Credit Union! They take care of you. Couldn't be happier with the service and kindness they've shown me over the years.
After update, the app disappeared from app list and doesnt reappear even when I uninstalled and reinstalled. I have to open it from Google app store for it to work. Please fix this!
Good app, but is missing several useful features. It would be nice to have the cumulative total posted along with each transaction.
Camera to capture remote deposits works one time and then is too dark. Have to uninstall and reinstall every time you use that function. Ridiculous.
Horrible transition into this new app. Customers Accts are extremely difficult to locate, much less see a short summary for each. The Tabs are NOT user friendly & their descriptions/functions do not meet the everyday uses that customers require.
"Upgraded" to a new app, yet still can't get their info correct. Couldn't access my account and had to "re-enroll" to do so. Switching to Frost, thank you.
App has not worked since CUTX "upgraded" website and mobile app in December 2021 (I think). Only way to do bank business is to go into the Credit union or use ATM to check balances or transfer money.
Stop updating the app and website!!! You are making it impossible to make payments fee free!!! Then want to mark us as paying late when we can barely get in to pay!!
Simple once you learn your way around the app and make payments quick and easy. The only problem is learning how to use the apps features.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have not been able to make a deposit with the app. Even company printed checks shows amounts do not match. I now only use it to check balances.
I like it...it has different features that you can navigate and you can do different things at once...I would recommended to any one. To all personal thank you for your wonderful work.
I love my c/u. I do alot of my transactions online and everything always go so smoothly. I called Ms Hopper in Mesquite. We were able to process a credit card transfer, I esigned, and finished the little stuff over the phone.
Figuring out how to make an auto loan payment on this app is Frustrating. I have not been able to make a payment because this app is confusing compared to their competition.
I have been a member for over 20 years and when I go to them to make a purchase of 10k . I am told because I haven't financed a auto in years that is the reason for disapproval. If someone asks me if they appreciate their members the answer would be not at all. I'm truly disappointed with this bank. Will be transferring my accounts elsewhere.
l cant log on my phone long enough, to even check my bank status, deposit a check, transfer funds or anything!!!!!! This sucks! And I'm very close to just transferring to a different bank!!!
Will not exit on back button or logoff. Have to use Android clear to get out. Also I prefer the old account display with all together on one screen. Web version does that.
The only problem I've had was transferring money to pay my credit card. I left a message and was contacted and was walked through with what I needed to do. Other than that this is a great app.
Decent app, does what it should. Takes a bit of time to load transaction history though (upwards of a minute or two after selecting desired acct).
My phone updated overnight, and now the app force closes any time i try to open it. Ive tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my phone but nothing's fixed
Easy to use and gives more draft/credit/debit detail than many bank apps. Also like the fingerprint entry.
For about a month the app lets me log in, when I click on anything after logging in it takes me right back to the sign in page! very irritating.
It asked me to update it so I did, now it won't let me log in. They said they updated features but it seems worse than before. Now i can't see my bank info. I wish they would've left things alone now the app sucks.
I have to type in a security code that is texted to every time I try to log in. It's a real inconvenience and no one from member services ever helps with the problem.
Been using this app for years. Prior to update (maybe a year ago), it would have gotten a 4 or 5 star review. Since the app was "updated," four things have drastically been downgraded in usability: - login is black letters over dark blue, unreadable - maybe by dark mode - LastPass now cannot find the password. Have to manually fill - fingerprint login seems to be gone, but I can't see the screen - when I select checking account, it takes about 30 second to load, way more than it used to.
