When I first downloaded the app it worked perfect, but had a terrible experience with it when I needed to get insured quickly and the app wasn't allowing me to log in as it told me it sent me a validation email which never came. Then I've had my brother declined daily insurance from it as the badge on my car was blacked out. The app is lucky getting 2 stars. Will never use again
Honestly - top of the game. Not only is their app super easy to use, especially now it doesn't need the magic link to login, cover is ridiculously well priced (especially the rolling 30 day subscription which for me came out £200 cheaper annually than any competition) and their customer service is 10/10 with immediate response no matter what time of day.
Overall the app is brilliant and simple to use get coverd in seconds, but and I have a but the fact is they class things like a sticker or badge change colour as modified and will take your money let you drive around then 24 hours later they will say we can't cover you but still drive and we take your money but if something happens because u have a sticker they won't pay out !!! Be very careful using CUVVA AS you MIGHT NOT BE CUVVERD !!!!!! FIX THIS STUPID GLITCH AND WE ARE GOOD
Such a convenient app! Initial set up takes a little time but every time after is quick and easy. Really helpful as a learner because I don't have consistent lessons and I can imagine using this to get insured on another car if I'm in a pinch!
Simple app to sort temp cover - especially if you've already done the 'pre-flight' questions - On the super rare occasion I need to drive my partner's car for an hour, I can do so with a tap of a few buttons and without the need to fork over a day's wages. :-D
Waste of time for older vehicles went through all the hassle of setting up account, then says can't insure vehicles over 20 years old! You knew how old it was when I put reg in so the rest is just a scam to get your details and probably sell them on. Uninstall and reported

Disappointing Having had a few short term policies with Cuvva, I really liked the idea of their subscription service- with discounts of up to 1/3 off for "good drivers". All sounds great in theory, but in reality, the app is not accurate and does not pick up on most journeys, so I was not offered an updated smart price after 1 month/ 125 miles of driving. Instead, I was blamed for not having permissions turned on etc. (which they were) and all issues were 'apparently' down to my phone. 😔😔
It was ok at first but then!!! Prices now double. Does not matter that I have aged and gathered multiple years of no claims bonus but cuvva don't care. No longer being able to use this app to test drive the car I am about to buy since the price for 2h is more than what I would pay for a month

Excellent app, It's a great way to get cheap and instant short term car insurance as when you need it. I'm fully com on my suv but it's not got an option to drive other vehicles so this insurance is great for me to be able to lend my daughter's 1 litre car. The app is very easy to use, the only downside is on a night every time I need to lend the car, I have to make sure the street lights are shining on front of the car to get a good photo because the flash needs to be turned off.

Been using the app for week by week cover but now use the smart pricing monthly rolling cover . Smart score was low but within a week got it up to 90 now after a month steady at 86 . Got a £24 reduction on the next month cover . Excellent. Thanks Cuvva have already recommended to family and friends.

does exactly what it says on the tin. if you could get previews of journey scores after each journey from the very first mile; it would be flawless.
Absolutely amazing app with few alternatives as quick and easy to use for car insurance. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because there is a bug at the moment that means the app sometimes freezes on the launch screen and won't open unless I uninstall and install the app again.
I am happy with the costumer service 100%. Qick and very helpful. I have only one little problem with the price when you want a week long cover. But that's all. i am happy to use this company. Best Regards
I have used this app a few different times for temporary insurance and now for a subscription policy. In that time I have had 1 issue with the app that didn't let me check out. Pedro was incredibly helpful, clear and managed to sort the issue in no more than 10 minutes. Overall I am very pleased.
Updating my review because I'm fed up with shoddy service. And then they "can't cover" my new vehicle (factory fresh Kia Niro, registered in the UK 6-8 weeks ago). Endless issues with the app, subscription and "driving score", inexperienced "help staff" who respond in jargon, repeat standard answers, or just seem to make stuff up, and promise contact from "another department" which never happen. Even the respondent here didn't actually DO ANYTHING! Uninstalled, would NOT recommend.
Wouldn't recommend at all!! I've been insuring my cars witht them for the past 3-4 years without any incidents or anything wrong and they decide to randomly freeze my account permanently and do not allow me to insure with them anymore, when asking them why, they refuse to give me any information at all about it which was very frustrating.
Excellent experience and very easy to navigate. Also professional people who know what they are doing and very empathetic on the chat option.
After struggling to find a good insurance company i found Cuvva insurance the simplest and cheapest option. Cheaper than most insurance companies out there. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.
App never works, have had to uninstall and reinstall so many times due to itbfreezing every time its opened. You would think for all the money they charge they would at least make sure the app works, especially as the experience is supposed to be 'instant'
So quick and easy to use, especially once set up on system. Used twice now, once when Mother-in-law was unable to drive her car home and then just yesterday to drive home our daughter's new to her car. Thankfully not had to make a claim on either occasion so unable to comment on that experience
Perfect when an inconvenience popped up Simple, secure, straight forward and took me less than 10 minutes to get covered, it was an inconvenient week and needed to get insured asap to get to work, and you guys didn't let me down, was the cheapest quickest option around by a mile, very happy
This is an excellent app to buy temporary car insurance within 5 minutes. It's so simple to use, quick and very easy to enter details in. Before you know it, you've bought some cover. This is the only way forward now as before I'd have to go through lots of forms and wait to get approved. This is all of 5 minutes and you're ready to drive. Wonderful clean app and I'll be recommending Cuvva to everyone!
