I was getting all 8nto a show and then I got to episode 9 and I am like oh I am almost done with the show and then what happens it says an error had occurred and I used it bot with qnd with out wifi so I know it's not the internet I also Uninstalled and reinstalled the app so many times episode 9 and 10 are not working but the rest is like really I can't just skip two episodes I need to finish this show

This app was good for about a few days when I downloaded it, but then whenever it would cross over into ads and then finish playing them it would restart all over again. For example if you had a 1 minute ad, it would become 2 minutes. I have no problem watching ads but when they double up on you its annoying. I've had enough of this app.

It never works. Been on my phone for over 2 months. I have a Galaxy S20. I have yet to be able to "stream" from this app. I wanted to watch Lost Girl and it will not play. I'm confused why you need this app when the CW app works. I have both and tried to watch from both. The screen just goes black and after a min I have a pause/play button. I can watch newer shows on the other app, but older stuff doesn't work for some reason. Hope this is helpful.

this app is annoying. the regular cw app is great but this one has way too many ads, replays the same episode, doesn't have the option to move on to the next episode after the show ends, and it buffers constantly. I love that it's free and I know that's why the ads are there but 3-5 minute commercials??!? so not worth it. for all this I'd rather pay. seeing as a lot of these shows are on Hulu and Netflix.

Great free app! There are plenty of great shows to watch. 3 not 5 stars due to the fact that while watching, the ads don't line up with the show. So you'll have ~10 seconds of ad sound as the show is playing. Then it'll switch over to the ad without synced sound. Then towards the end of the ad you'll hear the show but still see the ad for ~10 seconds. Then it's back to the show, but the sound is unsynced by ~10 seconds. You have to select the time 1 second after the ad ended to resync every time

1. I wish this app would work on an android box. I download the app but it never works I would be on it more if I was able to see it on my nvidia shield TV box. 2. When I cast it from my phone mid program in skips back a bit, I spend more time watching commercials than the actual show that I'm trying to see while trying to get it back to where I was before trying to cast it. This just makes me frustrated and makes me log out of the app. 3. I wish it was more intuitive meaning I wish when you log out and do not finish an episode it would ask you if you would like to resume where you left off the next time you re-click that episode. 4. Also as you see an episode of something that you are casting the longer you are watching and between comerciales the speach becomes off sink with the show only by a second or two but it is a bit annoying.

I like this app to watch some of these shows that used to be on. My only complaint is that maybe two or three minutes of the show plays and then more ads. I'll never get the show watched because of all the stupid ads. They need to cut down on the amount of ads that play during the shows. I'm not exaggerating about the every 2 or 3 minutes because it seems like one scene goes by and they already cut to commercial. It's very frustrating to watch a show like that. I'd started to watch The Secret Circle but ended up not even finishing the third episode because of all the ads riddled throughout the episode. I doubt I'll finish watching the show because I'm not going to waste my time watching so many ads. If they would just place them like regular commercials as if they were aired regularly, it wouldn't be so bad.

CW seems to be having a problem with the ad servers they are using or how the software talks to the servers. Programs play fine, but there are recurring freezes at the beginning or during ad breaks. You can sometimes get past the freeze by switching to another program and back again, but not always. If you have to restart the program it doesn't remember your place to resume playing.

When it goes to an ad break, it wont play the ad and returns to the show. Which normally would not be a bad thing except that it does not allow you to pause or skip 10sec because it still thinks it's on an ad. Even after updating it still does this. Its really frustrating not being able to pause because its stuck on an ad. And I know its stuck because it says "ad" in the bottom corner and "learn more" in the upper corner. Annoying and frustrating.

It's hilarious when if you keep tapping the screen and make the pause button keep appearing and disappearing you can skip the commercials at the cost of the ability to pause or rewind. However, I consider it fair for this little exploit to work because every time you exit the app, even for a moment, it restarts the show and shows you an ad. This means you must watch 6 ads (again) to get back to the second half. That's BS.

Love that I can watch all the episodes of old shows for free. It is really nice to be able to finally find some of these wonderful but obscure and hard to find shows like Kings of Con, Moonlight, Forever, or Birds of Prey. The only downside is the commercials, not that they are there (that's understandable since it's a completely free app) but they seem to be the same ones each time and some variety would be nice. Otherwise really wonderful app, one of my favorites that I've put on my phone.

The selection of shows is great, but the ads are killing it for me. The ads seem to be randomly spaced. I just saw two ad blocks separated by no more than 2 minutes, with about 4 commercials per ad block. It was an hour long show with 8 ad blocks. Frankly I'd subscribe to a streaming service that only had these shows, but a free service with this many ads isn't a deal.

Terrible App. It's horrifically unstable and crashes all the time. It's good that the catalog is so small, because as far as I can tell there's no search. And not only is it impossible to pay to remove the ads, but they play the same exact ads during every single one of the (copious) commercial breaks. If you want to watch Whose Line, this is your only bet, but none of the other shows are remotely worth an experience this bad. Avoid except for WLIIA. Doesn't even have your progress.

Barely tolerable app. I enjoy all the free shows and I hope they continue, but the app itself is terrible. There is a long list of problems that the app has and they differ between being used on an android phone or Apple. The app constantly disconnects from the phone and when I try to reconnect it starts the show over. The app needs some serious work to fix its bugs otherwise its a worthless to use. And honestly there's some good shows but the app makes it hard to want to watch them.

way to many commercials. but I gave 4 stars because its the only app that I can watch. (Dynasty) I love this show now I can watch all episodes. I do believe that their are too many commercials, and if you accidently cut it off it doesn't return to where you left off it shows a commercials. I know ads are inportant or needed but, this is ridiculous. but I take the bitter with the sweet because its free

Overall not too bad. I've had some glitching when it comes back from a commercial break, but not overall frequent. I did have a show, alcatraz, that I was watching this afternoon (even a pause mid episode) and I went to go back to it this evening and the show is no longer in the app. Extremely frustrating to have no notice of this is is this a glitch.

The CW is the first broadcast network I've ever seen to offer their shows for free (with ads) in an app. It's just like sitting down at your TV. You get the show, you get the same length commercials, and you can watch it when you want it. And that's pretty great. It's literally on-demand TV without the overpriced subscriptions, scumbag phone snooping, or ten miles of fine print that you'll get from the big networks.

Great app since everything is free, but it constantly keeps freezing on me so ill have to keep backing out and going back in. Ads do not bother me because it is free so what do you expect. It is just really annoying that it keeps freezing and sometimes kicking me off the app. Yesterday, it kicked me off the app and then the app deleted itself. The only reason I am still using is it is because I like one of the shows on it and do not want to pay for an older tv show. I'm likely just going to delete it because of the trouble it makes me go through to watch one episode

The last update did it. I've always loved this app since the first minute I got it. But since this last update it will not play on my Android. Not one single show. It just goes to a blank white screen when I press on an episode. The regular CW app still works but the CW Seed app is pretty much useless now. But I'll still hold out hope for the next update...maybe that'll fix it. Especially since I looked through the reviews and seen that other people are having the same problem.

Great video and watching experience. Great for people who are into the historics of the shows or there orgins or things connecting to the origin of the story. Videos are classics or great and good quality shows. My only regret is that I wish the apps were together and that the seasons and episodes we're longer but it seems like it's hard to find except here gives you the good start you need. Other than that video quality is good service is easy going basic and direct. Other than that it's great.

My episode stops playing after the third commercial break. Turn it back on and choose to pick up where i left off - it makes me watch another commercial break and turns off again. And again. And again. I try to give feedback on the specific episode issue by clicking on Send feedback/help... it is only a faq section-no place to actually submit feedback.

Super basic and kind of buggy. For example, after every commercial break (which there are about twice as many as standard network television) the closed captions turn themselves off. The show "Vixen" is supposed to be on this app but isn't. I get it, you get what you pay for, as such I will delete this the instant I'm done watching the two shows on here that I'm interested in.

I didn't even know that one of my fav. TV Shows (Supernatural) also had an animated series, as well as the movie Constantine, until I started using this app. It's set up exactly like CW App. Shows all buffer & start playing quickly. If u're in middle of watching one & have 2 leave app, when u open it again & select the episode u were watching u're given the choice 2 resume frm where left off or start @ beginning. I haven't had any issues or anything so thank you!!

The app works smoothly for me, but there are several two-minute ad blocks during each 30-minute episode of the shows. For a free service I can't complain too much, but it is a little silly to watch a 2-minute ad, watch the final minute long stretch of the show, watch another 2-minute ad, then the credits, and then another ad before the start of the next episode.

Great shows but WORST watching experience of any streaming app I have ever used! I love a lot of CWs programming but every one of the apps are so filled with glitches they're unusable. Couldn't watch 1 episode. Going thru browser on laptop is the only way but you still have to stop/start after each break to get the sound to play. Please do something. If this wasn't the only way to watch some of my favorites I'd have already written it off forever. Even so, I'm about to anyway.

Good app with good shows. The only improvements I would like to see is when watching a series there needs to be a next episode button or an option to play the next episode automatically. Also if possible an option to download episodes for offline viewing?? Other than that great app. Side note: please do a season 2 of Secret Circle! So many people want to see what happens next.
