This app matches CWT in almost every way. It is useless, provides no help on travel and takes up my time and space on my phone. I can't get it to recognize a trip. It won't let me enter my record locator, to find a reservation. It's so frustrating. I wish we had an option not to use CWT for travel. I'd rather make my own reservations.
Garbage. Shows itinerary and doesn't allow to to edit it without calling sato anyways. When you click find alternative flights it'll show you flights that are full so when you do call to see if you can change to a specific flight the answer will probably be no
Have to login every time. Super annoying and makes boarding passes in the app unusable. Nice sync with calendar option, but it only syncs the first leg of a multi-flight itinerary - useless. Have a flight cancel/delay, need to make a change? No way to handle it in the app. It just dials your local SATO office to be put on hold. No link to after hours service. Nice try, but check out Alaska Air app for how to get this right.
I loved the app at first. Then I got promoted that I needed to change my password. I tried several times but kept getting the same message of "Password cannot be the same as past 10 passwords" I have tried several times with passwords that I have never used before. When I contacted customers service they kept telling me to try a different password. When customer service responses to your ticket you cannot reply to their email. You literally have to put in another ticket. The app is now useless.
This app has the worst log-on process of any app in the entire app store. It works up until a time-limited mandatory change of password. Then the reset link is supposedly sent to official work email...but never shows up. Emailing support gets you a response to check org firewalls. Really? We're all working for the same org and the number of reviews, for the past few years, with the same issue indicates this has nothing to do with local org firewalls. Horribly-built and waste of tax dollars!
The first time I created a profile and tried to login, it failed as other users commented. Deleted app and tried again for a different trip. Logged in with no issues. Imported my itinerary within minutes of sending it to the email address provided within the app. App provided Flight information and terminal information along with weather forecast at stops along the international trip. So far so good.
The whole login account setup process seems designed to frustrate the users. Have never been able to get in and teach support is nonexistent
Uninstalled. This application is junk. I can access relevant trip and reservation data at each discrete providers site faster than I can get anything useful out of this app. For an app that is touted as delivering "convenience" for viewing and managing my travel, the cumbersome login process, and the fact that it just links me to third party providers anyway for any useful actions, make this a zero-star product.
This app has potential. CWTSato needs to do better advertising availability of the app, remove or distinguish from the non DoD version, which creates confusion when navigating to the "DoD App Store" only to not find it listed. App PW management should be improved to allow manager access for biometric use (fingerprint). Downloading app during existing trip appears only to display changes to that record locator and not the entire trip, which BTW you can't even search by yet...
POS! App logs off and you have to log back in whenever you select to display any of the menu items. You cannot accomplish anything with this app. Constant trip status updates when no change in flight or itinerary have occurred causing alot of anxiety. Uninstalling.
This app has been extremely useful for both my Civilian and Uniformed travel. It is handy having all the travel information in one place as opposed to, in some cases (OCONUS) having to swap between multiple apps if my trip covers multiple carriers. Would highly recommend for any Government or Military travelers.
Tried to use the app, but was thrown into the endless loop of: need to re-register/ account already established for this email account. Contacted the Helpdesk and was told I don't have an account and need to uninstall/reinstall. Didn't work. Once again the government got scammed by an app developer.
Would be a great app IF one did not have to log in (with a password) every time one wanted flight info. Recommend a biometric (fingerprint) access. Easy acces is important enough to drag the rating down to one star.
Logs out too quick. Times out on anything less than a perfect network connection. Have to retype strong password on a mobile device, over and over, and over, and over. Ad nauseum....
App doesn't load any trips automatically from DTS. Even if I call Sato to get a reservation, it doesn't show up in the app and I have to enter the details manually, which defeats the entire purpose of the app. App has zero features and is completely useless.
this app is very useful leading up to and during travel, but it does not keep a history of each itinerary (just the return trip will remain under 'past trips'). would be nice to keep a running tab of itineraries for past trips.
Doesn't work on Android 10/Pixel 3 because when I try to set my home city, the resulting list of suggested cities isn't clickable. Typing in the full name of my city (Alexandria VA) doesn't work either - the app then claims this city can't be found. Nice.
Easy to navigate and operate. Resl-time flight updates are very helpful. An improvement would be to have 24hr access to Customer service through the app via messaging portal, meaning the ability to send mesaages back and forth directly through the app.
Why in the blazes do I need to use my military email to create an ID? This alone makes the app completely unusable for anybody who doesn't have direct immediate access to a government computer. What if you're on leave (me)? What if you work in a place where access to unclassified government computers is difficult or downright impossible at times? This system is only beneficial to desk jockeys and shore commands. Thanks for making another waste of my time.
Terrible and useless. App keeps stating my password is expired but it was just updated last week. Keeps forcing me to change password but doesn't accept the change after 30...YES 30!..different passwords tried. Uninstalling this piece of garbage.
Bad data - not properly synced to CWT database. My trip to DC shows up as independence, KS... No idea where that comes from. Also, does not support biometric login, no 2 factor available, very insecure.
Doesn't actually work. They do not pull the booked trips from your email, and not very user friendly when it comes to getting your actual trip on this app. I recommend you stick with the Airline specific APPs
This app is useless, as it doesn't let you log in. I signed up, established a password. When I tried to log in, the password didn't work and it never sent me an email to reset it. Would NOT recommend
Unable to add a private email for notifications. Had a confirmation message sent to the email I was trying to add, but after following the link the app wouldn't recognize my password despite me correctly entering it.
Have to enter password FREQUENTLY. Also appears to go to a web page to verify p/w before letting you in. If I'm in sketchy cell coverage or on the plane I don't think it'd work? Uninstalling for that pain, otherwise a great travel app.
Zero Value. Shows an itinerary and that's about it. No way to make or request changes to flights. Still have to call. In fact, you have to tell the app what number to call! Login is a pain and frequently required. Thankfully all the airlines provide useful apps! I'll just go back to living in the 90s and having to call when I need to make changes.
