Cx File Explorer

Best no-add file explorer i have come to use. Especially SMB and cloud access is what i looked for. Some suggestions 1- have google drive show the "shared with me" files and folders. Or did i miss them? 2- in addition to "recent folders", offer a 'favorite folders" view 3- if tablet screen, condense main drive stats / SD card stats onto the same screen, and recent places /favorite places onto another screen maybe Anyway it is great, thanks thousands! Terrific app! I can access all my network shares with ease. Love it! This app allows me to easily manage my apps and back them up. I can view my storage and quickly see what is what. I use it on all my Android devices and highly recommend it, especially if you need to share files between Android and Windoze. My only issue is a problem getting the app on my tv box to find my file server. I'm pretty sure it is a network issue and no fault of this app. Every other device runs this app perfectly. I have finally found THE BEST android file manager. And, it is free with no ads. PERFECT!!!

I started using this app after a previous file explorer app I was using began having problems. I was pleasantly surprised by this app's features and functionality. The layout and menu design is much more efficient and organized than in other apps I have used. I like the ease of finding and choosing my folders and files. Best feature is Recycle Bin... good & bad - if you accidentally delete something, it will be in your bin... But you need to manually empty the recycle bin to free up space.

The best and most complete file browser for Android devices! If only it was available for Android TV too! The only feature I wish it had different, is the built-in ftp server for accessing files on the device from other devices. I would like to have the option to keep the ftp server running after closing the app, and have the option to make the ftp server starting automatically on boot. It is so practical for accessing your Android files from any other device! My congratulations!

Great. App. Worth paying for. Most apps have problems opening some types of files. Android 11 file manager apps, I have found, have problems opening the latest MP4 video and other formats. This program has no problem with opening anything. Thank you for a program that is uncomplicated, unbloated, ad-free, and can be used simply, with a layout that is perfect. Recommend to all. BEST file manager app! App is completely free and there are no catches with in app purchases (like every other file manager app) my only issue is that the app is kind of incorrect when it shows "phone storage" and file sizes seem to be larger than their actual size. Also, sometimes when trying to move/copy to network storage, it will not start, requiring the process to be canceled and restarted. Other than that great app!

Mostly great, fast and easy to use with a few issues that if fixed would make this a 5 star app! -Need a dark mode - ability to filter current folder for names instead of only a search that delves into whole tree - image viewer needs to be able to over zoom images. It currently only zooms to perfect resolution but sometimes you just need to get closer, especially for tiny print to be legible

Cx File Explorer has excellent features and a clean, clear user interface. It is indispensable for me; I use it frequently. However, I find the algorithm used to decide which recently used folders are displayed less than ideal. Please display the four most recently used folders.

I'm satisfied. It works as expected. And it has a recycle bin. I've been using it for years. Not sure when I first downloaded it ( maybe 2012, maybe 2014, maybe even prior to 2012, but I believe it was new then ) because it was just another app. Now whenever I get a new phone, it's the first or second app I download before or after the screen launcher app. It automatically refreshes. I'm satisfied. Does not contain adds. Did I say I'm satisfied yet. I'm satisfied. Positive impact? (Advertising)

Excellent. I have used many file managers over the years. They all have had warts and blemishes somewhere. This is the first one without them. Nice, clean, simple, UI which allows very intuitive access to the features underneath.

Perfect File manager. Interface is clean, precise and allows me to review all files and apps. I'm able to individually see what files/apps are using up storage. Then remove quickly and efficiently those unwanted/unnecessary files. Definitely recommend for Android users!

This is really my favorite file manager. It has smooth access to network shares and works across all my android devices, even my Fire Stick. But one thing it won't do is play entire network folders of music. I have to use X-plore file manager or VLC media player to get that feature.

Generally works very well. However, big annoyance is that sometimes when phone is switched off, on switching back on ALL "home screen" shortcuts have gone, no matter where they were. I use a lot of shortcuts.

I used ES file explorer for a very long time. It was difficult finding a replacement for it since it was removed from the play store for fraud. I then used solid explorer, but it was slow. I switched between the build in file browser and Google files, but it never felt right. So far, this is close to the best. 5 stars for no ads! Please have a donate button, I would gladly send you money for this awesome file manager!

There nothing out there that I am aware that can be compared to Cx File Explorer. My other favorite program, the FX File Explorer. I could see the files on my router external storage and transfer them to my phone, however, I can't send anything to it from my phone. With The Cx File Explorer, it works both ways. Thank you for such a superb work!

An actual good file explorer with no ads. You can copy/cut a file and you can keep exploring in the same place, it won't drop you to your initial/root address, which for some reason is something common in many android file explorers. It's very fast, it has a lot of options to sort each individual folder and you can also create a new "raw" file if you need that for whatever reason besides creating a .txt file.

I had been using ES File Explorer, but their latest update resulted in so many intrusive Ads that I kicked it loose. Boh am I glad. Cx File Expljree has an excellent intuitive UI and the whole user experience is quicker and better than with ES File Explorer. 18 mos later and I'm loving this app. Easy file access and manipulation across devices on my network. Zero problems.

Excellent file explorer for me, since updating to android 11 my tablet doesn't show thumbnail pictures with other programs, however CX FILE EXPLORER does. Many good options for editing and file, folder work Been using this program for a while and it's so easy to use. No ads, no extra nonsense features like others. Only one thing would I like is the option for a dark mode

I just got this app and I love it!! I really love how you can rename multiple files at once! I also love how when you move a file to another folder it still has the same timestamp. Some apps (like Google files) will change the timestamp whenever you move files which I HATE! Thanks for this app!! Update: could you guys please add a dark mode for this app? It would be completely perfect then!

Perfect for me. No adds. Free. Better than my native Xiaomi File Manager at ordering stuff (eg titles beginning with a 9 appear before those beginning with 10, as they should - I need to write 09 with my native File Manager - ; and 00a appears before 01, instead of being placed at the end of my list of files). I have used this app for a good while and, been into computers since the early 70's, and learned my first programming language. In all that time I used a lot of file explorers,. Cx is a great program. You can't go wrong with Cx. And yes I have been around for 79 years.

This is so far the best file manager I have ever used, the biggest positive for me is that it can stream music from an smb share without having to download the entire file. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of dark mode, come on, it's 2022, this feature should be standard.

Now even better and Faster to navigate on my new smart tab by Nokia 300G. It's a great file organizer maintainer, and helps me look into all the folders in both the primary drive and the MicroSD backup. I am very impressed , and Cx File Explorer is all Aces AAAAA+++++ excellent +++++ Very Impressed Highly Recommend !

Been using ES file manager for a long time, but since its discontinued and left with some bugs, i decided to search for a new manager with only basic and most useful functions manager should have and i found it all here in this awesome app. All i can say is Cx File Explorer is awesome and that i recomment it to anyone, trust me you wont find better app for file exploring then this one. Good job dev team, keep it up 👍💪 Think about adding donation button but just that, no extra features with it.

Fantastic File Explorer that actually works. Especially good is its ability to connect to a NAS easily and reliably. Something google and samsung seem to be unable to achieve. Well done team 👏
