Fabulous game. Absolutely brilliant. I've been playing P&P RPG for over 25 years, and this is, hands down, by far the best one I've came across. Character prog is spot on, plot is good, everything's intuitive. Can't tell you how long I've been waiting to find a game this good. This has everything you'd want to find in a Cyberpunk 2020 / Shadowrun alternative. One bug I've noticed - tends to freeze when you go back from the shop. But considering the autosave, not a big deal at all. GG guys!
Well written, well designed turn-based RPG with all the cyberpunk tropes you're looking for. Reminiscent of Fallout and Syndicate. No flashy action but building your character, team, reputation and setup with a ton of choices. Heavy focus on strategy and tactics. A lot of intricate number-crunching, which at no point becomes too complex or unpredictable. Everything you do affects your surroundings in a big, dense sandbox. I love it!
Complicated gameplay with a variety of specialization options. The combat is a blast, and the map is deceptively complex, with tons of secret routes, faction relations, specialized shops, and back ways that really reward all sorts of exploration. I reccomend you play on brutal so the game's features, especially these secrets and the cyberwar implant system, are highlighted. Fair warning - playing through the tutorial is a must, but even then there are some systems are never explained in-game.
very creative rpg. i can walk or take taxis all over. like it has local and very big map. like custom attributes and skills makeup. like having up to 3 NPC's with me. like vast inventory backpack and gear. like picking from selection of quests and rewards. been playing it over a year. awesome game. i hope for expanded map in future.
Great potential, lost opportunity. The developer has abandoned this unfinished game to write other games. This leaves the gaming experience for this one incomplete and frustrating. It would have been nice if they came back and cleaned up a lot of stuff. After purchasing the game a few years ago and coming back to try it again, I am ultimately disappointed with it.
A lot of depth and choice. Has a good setting that gives a solid cyberpunk experience. Graphics aren't the best, but gameplay more than makes up for it.
love your games. You can feel the passion into the world's you build. Great game Chummer! I was thinking that being able to convert zones from one faction to another, through influence, gang war, data war, etc. could uproot a faction and you could help chose another faction to control it. giving you a goal of taking over the whole city with a single faction or more. Just an idea. you guys are the pros and must spend lots if time keeping these games up to date. Thanks again.
Trese Brothers just do great rpg. Cyberpunk, open world, need I say more? Graphics could use some work and not a lot of direction at the start, but leaves room for imagination and uncovering the secrets of New Boston is a thrill. Probably my favorite game on the playstore. No ads is nice too.
Was a brilliant game, and genuinely probably one of the developers best works, it's a shame they haven't updated it for two years, or made a sequel. It'd be perfect with the 2077 hype train. Used to be 5, but it's hard to rate a somewhat abandoned app a 5 justifiably. If they return or make a sequel, it'll be 5.
I really like the style and gameplay but it falls down on certain mechanics and balance issues . Biggie is the yakuza firing 4 bloody shots a turn and always ournumbering your max 4 man team . You cant dodge all the time because you cant then return fire and dodge doesnt even flipping work that much. Impossible fights are game destroying. I would love this to get the star traders frontiers treatment and be remade and fleshed out because otherwise its quite a lot of fun.
I absolutely love this game and now I can play it on my PC using Bluestacks, I am stoked! The gameplay is so much more fun with a mouse and I can really see all the details on my big screen TV! Corey Trese, you are undervalued as a game designer, they do not know how to make games like this anymore. The coding and animation is not that hard, but getting a truly engaging story right, is immensely difficult. I am an author Corey, and with your permission I would love to write 'Cyberknights' novel.
First of all, I'd like to say the game is really 5* in my opinion. I just haven't gotten far enough to get into the depths of the experience yet. Cool idea in a cool world. Gain xp, strength and cash as you claw your way up through a brutal and unforgiving world. Tough, yet fun and deep systems are inevitably going to cause me to play much more of this game in the near future. Well done!!
I just recently started a new character after many years of not playing so Im not entirely sure what has changed in the game. But im hoping to see new areas added because in previous sessions I have spent many hours exploring new boston and it would be nice to experience something new.
Old, ugly, and perfect... with a new one on the way. Get the full version and the addons. Super inexpensive and worth anything you can afford to give these guys. They don't make bad games. Ever.
One of the few mobile games that is fun and able to be played for extended periods of time, and ALSO does not have microtransactions. Combine that with the obvious nods to classic Shadowrun, and you get nerd cred to boot. Worth every cent and more. Minor bugs are present, but rarely problematic. Good job, Trese Brothers.
Great game! Although there are a few bugs here and there, they're not game breaking, overall it's awesome :) Ah but I think you can improve on the artwork, I mean, no offense but some of the lines are a bit ... wonky(?)...(?????) Anyways I hope you update this soon!!
Sweet, simple,.and fun. Early game can be hard to survive unless you avoid encounters, and some.will drop you in rather hard to win layouts (bottlenecknallwy), but it's a good game and worth a few tries
Nine years old, I've been playing it for maybe six years over several devices. Still playing it, still loving it. Of all the Trese Brothers games this is my joint favourite. Epic talent, massive hearts, Trese Brothers are as good as it gets in this man's opinion. Thanks guys!
An amazing game that is so much more than just a Shadowrun homage. This was my first Trese Bros game I ever found, a decade ago if not longer, and it drew me back into Shadowrun nostalgia like I was playing the Sega on a Saturday morning. I later enjoyed the FASA(sp?) Shadowrun pen and paper game, and it seems like the brothers may have also. Really tight gameplay, deep skill/attribute system and item synergy makes any decently thought out character viable. Elite version is well worth the money.
Old school SF RPG with a great core gameplay loop, wonderful world and interesting sandbox story. Really hit a lot of right checkboxes for me and it's clearly a labour of love and desire to make a good solid game as a priority, rather than glitzy monetization.
Not what I expected, but after a month or so of intermittent play; it continues to grow on me. Not the replacement for the "pulled" shadowrun games I was looking for, but appealing enough to get me to buy the elite version.
Good design and love trese bros. Not as much of a fan of this universe as I am their star traders line, but it does scratch an itch. As usual, their work on world lore is rich and immersive. I recommend the buy.
I absolutely love this game. It's challenging, but it keeps me entertained. I'd love to see a sequel, or a spin-off like you have done with the Star Trader series. Traveling is my biggest complaint. It takes some time to get to the point that you can travel the city quickly. But if you stick with the game, you do get to the point your're not walking everywhere. I love seeing each factions boss's story. Thanks for giving me my favorite mobile RPG Trese Bros. It's the one I always go back to.
