Within 10 minutes I was not satisfied. After leaving for a little while it would not connect. Also the password requirements for login while standard I would say if you understand security then you would choose a good password anyway. Asking to collect anonymous data too... Yes it's an option but really should not be there in the first place. The actual service I can not comment on yet but I am not filled with confidence. Maybe it's aimed at the streamers rather than security users
Great competitive price for long term subscriptions! I need a VPN to stay safe on public wifi, and watch content unavailable in my region. It's also a big plus that Cyberghost has a zero logs policy and is based outside of any country with ridiculous prying eyes policies 👀 There are a few features that are a little unclear, like premium server vs other types of servers, but so far everything works well regardless of which I choose to connect to!
On one hand I enjoy the service. On the other the app does a poor job of ensuring encrypted traffic on public WiFi. 1. Will maintain it is connected after it's lost and reconnected to WiFi. No apps have Internet access. Resolution: discon and recon VPN, though it allows apps to reach Internet unencrypted meanwhile. 2. Can't connect to a different country unless discon/recon. List isn't there. Unless you report an issue with the connection. Which I do for every switchover 3. Conn test. No killsw
this app works so good i hardly know it's there sometimes. that's how a real good app should be, does it's job, doesn't intrude much. tried it, "buyed it". it was so worth it. others have had issues with their vpn, I've had very few with this & usually bc i didn't understand a setting. once i got some things down for my use, it just works good. love it. found they were rated very high by most tech oriented in speed & safety & variety of servers. have used for months & realize why
As much as I appreciate your strict no log policy and respect the users privacy. Unfortunately, I'm not willing to pay for a year subscription or spend £8.99 on a month's subscription, before I'm giving the chance to try it. As I went with other vpn companies I still have subscription left with and wasted a ton of money for nothing like surfshark I bought 2 years with them and a few months into the 2 years I can't use it.. its great for privacy and security but the servers r rubbish
Cumbersome. Have to switch off vpn just to switch countries (can't access list otherwise). Have to switch off vpn to change split tunneling (why not just change settings then restart to apply?) There's a reason for why it's 3 times cheaper then ExpressVpn. Second star is for the great price.
Could be better if the notification have a button to enable/disable. sometimes we need to change the status connection just for a moment and switch to CyberGhost app just to click a single button is not a good user experience.
It offers a 3 day free trial, but I cancelled after 10 minutes and it has charged me. I would like to speak to somebody but there are no contact options. The VPN doesn't work with streaming services.
I've had this for over a year, used to love it, but now I have to disconnect from the VPN in order to look at Facebook, search things on Google, receive any sort of notifications or emails. (Which defeats the entire reason for having a VPN.) PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS!!
I graduated college on cyber security and computer science. A VPN is a tool I believe is ESSENTIAL for just about everybody who uses the internet. There are MANY VPNs out there, some free, and some highly expensive. First of all spend the money for a good VPN!! Trust me!! Secondly, I have tried a multitude of VPNs until I got to CyberGhost. I tested it first, and then bought a year's worth sub for this because of its ease of use, the many different options you have, and I've Never had issues
I have used this VPN for over a year now, probably closer to three. Easy enough for my mother to figure out and use, and it has a very nice interface. Very little connection lag when watching movies and the app errors/crashes get fixed within a week or two (of which there are very few). Also I really love the ad block option for mobile gaming.
Useless, bought so I could use with Amazon Prime. Not only does it fail at this, but will causes issues with other apps and prevents casting. Wasted money. Can't find anyway of contacting developer and getting refund.
This app is more of a 4 star for me, because it used to always connect me to vpn without my consent. But now I am having a big problem. My phone and my PC don't even recognize this app as a vpn tool, so when I press the connect button, nothing happens. Please help me.
I have yet to hook up all my devices oh, I also have not been able to watch Netflix in any other country , and I have met to get customer support . My account originated with quick connection and my price what's adequate but as I said I was never able to use it. Now , when I attempted to just let it run out you renewed it without asking or telling me the price and from what I hear the price is reduced to $2.19 . Why don't you help me get set up and give me the new price. We'll start over.
Absolute waste of money trying to watch UK TV from Europe on mobile or Firestick. Unfortunately I forgot to cancel and so wasted a lot if money on a software product that doesn't do what I need it to.
Good service and fast technical support through live chat, nonetheless an app for LG smart TVs would be needed to access worldwide servers. Without the app you are restricted to a few country services.
Run test and then it says API not reachable domain fronting unsuccessful. Service not reachable. Tried it on sim internet and on wifi. You guys are down. Wt.. F
I cannot access the internet while the VPN is turned on. It has never worked with the reddit app and when it did work I was plagued by captcha.
Doesn't work. Worked once, £60 wasted. Customer service doesn't help. Even the sites they claim work still don't, followed instructions and help from support, which suspiciously looked like cut and paste.
Don't farken waste your mother fsrken money to this app, I was supposed to be connected to indonesia to play a specific game but I wasn't connected to that country even though it says in the app and btw they connected me to United kingdom instead of Indonesia. By far nordvpn is the best one
Works great on my fire tv but useless on my adroid box over wifi. Update: I can no longer access my account. Spent 2 weeks back and forth with customer support. Tells me wrong username or password. Yet I can log out the app and relog in. If username or password were wrong It would not log back in. Could not use recover account because all I get is too many redirects. Finally got fed up with useless customer support. Will now have to contact credit card company. Can not turn off auto renewal.
Another rubbish VPN that will not work with Sky Sports abroad even tho they tell you it will. They even take your money before you get a chance to try them. Really angry
Even though the app is far superior to the PC version, which is very slow and buggy, the speeds are still ... 😕
Useless! The app is terrible. It barely ever works - either doesn't load the app or won't connect with the API. When it does, you have to set all the settings in a certain way (not the way I want them) to get it to work. There's barely any choices with VPN - just pick a country, nothing about cities or servers. That's just the app. The Windows app is even worse. Completely messed up my laptop 3 times. Wish I'd never left IPVanish.
