Kinda neat little Tempest clone. Controls are buggy. It appears that autofire is mandatory if the controls are shown on-screen, which must be a bug.
I love the idea, the graphics are great. I remember playing this game many years ago on ps1 My only issue was the controls
That too insane how did control is hard? no joystick no fire button... hand is not simple else much harderst game i never game agains
the pulsars dont flash when they are about to fry you. i am pretty sure this happens in the original so why not here other than this glaring flaw this is how i'm gonna spend my boredom time from now on.
Its a great game but i would take a D-pad over the controls the game has
I was surprised how good it was..Uninstalled because I didn't like the permissions it was asking for.
I call this tempest 2000 for a reason: it is not suitable to be called a clone - it's tempest 2000 remastered
if you like tempest 2000 than this is for you
awsome old scool game
It's a great game but the controls aren't good on a touchscreen. Just waiting on a tempest 3000 port to Android or as a UWP Windows app. Tempest 3000, also made by Jeff minter for the Nuon enhanced DVD players
Great game of the classic game from the atari jaguar
I've loved T2K ever since I first played it on the Jaguar. In some ways, this version actually surpasses the original (playing T2K in VR is an amazing experience). There are, however, some issues that keep this from being perfect. First, the enemy projectiles and power-ups don't travel past the line that the player traverses. This makes jumping even more enticing than it was in the original, as it's impossible to get hit by anything while in mid-air. Second, the bonus flying stages seem to be missing.
It crashes frequently, especially when opening the game for the first time. Ads opening up causes crashes about half the time. Same thing with the screen changing from landscape to portrait, and vice versa. I'm on a Nexus 6p running Android Nougat.
Super job my friend. Surprisingly the controls work perfectly. I had to mess with a few options. Dual swipe work's perfect. Excellent graphics. Buying the pro. Now
Absolutely love the game thanks for developing such an awesome game first played on Playstation now get to enjoy just as much on android awesome!!!
This is just a wonderful recreation of Tempest 2000.
Hell ya bringing me back to my young years
I never played this game. But, it's great.
Always been my fave
At about level 8 an ad popped up and the game locked up on that screen. Had to clear game data in app settings to get off ad screen, but that lost game progress. I just gave up and reloaded the old version for the PC instead! Great clone of Tempest 2000/Tempest X, but I think they kludged the ad thing in and IT SHOWS!
Won't even start. I got the popup message the first time I tried to start the game but I didn't have enough time to read before it crashed. Never appeared again and keeps crashing in start
Tried out the VR setting just for fun while on a bullet train- the screen co tinues to slow drift to the right and I am unable to hit the settings menu to turn it off again, making the game unplayable. There should be a centering button and/or emergency settings button. The button areas seem to bounce around and the ones on the right are impossible to press. Other than that, very fun!
Like Bryan had said this could be great but ends up being unplayable
All the controls are in the bottom corners of the screen making it impossible to play comfortably. An option to move the controls or at least bring them a bit closer to the center would be nice.
Works brilliant on Shield tv, but I only have one issue, how do I adjust volume settings in the menu as I can't move the sliders ? The sound effects are too low for my liking and I can't change them with the shield game pad ?. Hope there's a fix for this soon 👏
I'm sad to say this port of Tempest 2000 just gets too many things wrong to recommend it. The touch controls are very poor, but even when using a Bluetooth controller it isn't as smooth as it should be. Lots of details are missing, like getting bonuses at the end of levels for not using the super zapper. I highly recommend the free PC port, Typhoon 2000.
