I've played this game since its release and it is one of my favorite rhythm games, so it should come to mind that when I acquired a new phone, I'd download it immediately. Unfortunately, I can't get past the black screen after the headphones reminder. I've installed and reinstalled in again but to no avail. Edit: Latest update and still can't get past the headphones screen.
I absolutely adore this game!! ❤️ Tho I have had the benefit of spending a pretty penny on the game, it is enjoyable even without spending money on it, story line is very interesting but a tad difficult to understand. But go for it! It gets easier over time! Tho I recommed useing a bigger screened device, even with a very big mobile screen is it difficult, also make sure to have storage open if you do end up buying song packs and characters, because you gotta download to play offline!:)
So much more than meets the eye to this game. I literally can't put it down. As well as the standard rhythm game, this is also a full-story mystery with a cast of characters, immersive backstories, and constant surprise features. Cannot recommend highly enough. Especially great on Play Pass as all content is unlockable for free!
one of the best rhythm games I've ever played. Fantastic gamplay, HUGE list of songs, all of which are bangers, and an amazing storyline that builds on and Greatly expands upon the first game's, with a whole bunch of fantastic characters and a creative way of telling the story. An absolute MUST for rhythm game fans, or just anyone who enjoys a good intricate story.
Really great game. One flaw though. I wish there was a way to play the story in forced chronological order. I someti es get spoiled over what happens next because you need to change character everytime. A way to play it in order (auto change to required character or auto display of relevant iM / logs. Another thing is I wish you could sell character unlocks in bundles a limited-time discount price. I am considering purchasing all characters. All in all, best game out there!
An excellent rhythm game, however this game is extremely P2W. I'm a F2P player and can't access the GLITCH charts forever due to the CAPSO costing $10. Please make CAPSO free while adding paid, inexclusive bundles (in other words, make more content accessible to F2P players). A smaller issue is that the calibration system is very difficult to get a good offset value. About it, though
I am a bit concerned about the saving data system, there is a bit problem with mine, since I already complete the story and somehow the data was not saved. Its just a bit of hiatus and when I come back the data just gone and Im back to wherever the save data likes it. It happen for the 3rd time this time. The data usually lost after update when I didnt play for about 4 months.
I like the game but service has been less than stellar. It would fail to launch after an update to my device (pixel 6) and it was a month before a fix came. I'd tried reinstalling which only resulted in my losing all progress; you must opt into the cloud feature to save game data. Contacted support and they could or would not help.
It's a great game with simple mechanics that aren't so simple to the point of boredom. The music choices are great, and although I haven't played very much, my favorite characters so far are Robo_Head and Ivy. The only minor complaint I have is that thw artist bundles cost a bit much. 10 dollars per artist seems a bit high. But the amount of songs the free characters have is quite a few so that makes up for it in my opinion Overall, a great game to relax with.
I love this game. At first the electronic music may chock you, but once you're used it the soundtrack is fantastic. Also the story is very captivating and interesting, with some points of dystopia. I haven't finished it yet so I can't tell exactly what is like at the end, but by the way it is marvelous enough to catch me in a theoretical music game so... Thanks to the creators for giving me such a wonderful experience.
I REALLY enjoyed this app! The mechanics are easy but can become fairly difficult on the harder levels. The art style and characters in general are amazing. I do wish they where less expensive or could unlock them with in game currency. I like the werid lore that you don't really need to know to enjoy the game but still a cool world building accept.
Love this game. Music is pretty bangin'. Story is very immersive and told in a unique way, which I was not expecting from a rhythm game. Had to take off a star because 7 of the achievements are impossible to earn now since the Miku DLC pack is no longer available. Hopefully it will come back and I'll give this 5 stars.
For only 2 dollars, you get so many songs, an extensive amount of lore, and hours upon hours of time to spend. It's responsive, challenging yet fair, and all in all a very enjoyable experience, especially when you have just a few minutes to spare and need something to do.
Best rythm game I've played. The way the story is introduced is clever, and I found myself caring about it without realizing it. I wish there was a button to go from the red screen to the main menu though.
Would give 5 stars but the lack of story accessibility with the character's all being paid, I suggest a fragment system with every level cap like the first Lv. 10 cap would give fragments instead of levelling the other characters with fragment cost scaling with the character's involvement. Or adding a full level system that unlocks the characters
For some reason I cannot pause the game... Even when I double tap the pause button it still doesn't do anything. I think this is a bug and has nothing to do with my phone. Please fix it if it is indeed a bug. But aside from that, this game is amazing and it's definitely the best game I've played so far.
I just had to reinstall this game because of a stupid file error and all my data was lost because I didn't turn on cloud save... I wish it just saved data with just my google play account. This game is amazing but it didn't even tell me that cloud save existed.
A marvelous game, excellent story and very fun songs and beatmaps. I had to restart it due to a device transfer issue (my device's fault, not the developer's) and had no problems with playing the whole game a second time; that's how fun it is.
Syncing the purchased stuff (literally anything) has a possible setback and the team can't even do a thing about it. Just bought kizuna ai when she was available for half the price then when I reinstalled the game and synced it to retrieve my purchase, she's locked at level 8. Not to mention the CAPSO
Does not hit the same as Cytus 1 did, I know theres a story mode and all, but ive been playing this game (cytus 1) for years and there wasnt no story mode and everything is unlocked (well most of it) and when you play the game for that long, the easy modes just become too boring and it is no fun, and thats what is implemented into cytus 2, youre forced to play the easy songs which can get boring, also the songs dont hit different like holy knight, or entrance in cytus 1.
Really great game, Amazing soundtrack, surprisingly engaging lore, and new timeline system makes for easier story readthrough. Though there are some maps with note taps that don't correspond or sometimes don't even sync with the music in question. Also, personal opinion, i kinda hate the amount of in app purchasea this game has.
No ads at all. Alot of songs to unlock by levelling each character up. I enjoy the way the story is told. Additional characters can be bought which comes with their own style and music but is a bit pricey. That being said the artists have worked hard on their songs so the price feels more than fair.
Hello Rayark, I'm just here to say that, this game is very beautiful and a masterpiece. Though, i have something to say to you. After updating just recently, i couldn't play the game without internet or wifi. I always played it offline but I'm afraid i couldn't right now. I would like to know why it says "authetication failed" and why i couldn't play it offline anymore.
No mobile rhythm game came close to this one, i always come back after trying another one... Also the story is gonna fry your brain if you can pay attention and connect thing early on, dlc prices also worth for the extra songs and story.
Cytus 2's gameplay is good and just what I wanted for a mobile rhythm game. However, the story is the truly amazing portion of the game, and I found myself devouring songs and burning through hours of time just to experience more of it. Sometimes, the grind to reach a new level is a little annoying, but truly I think it lets you also experience the game's excellent songs more. If I could give any game a rating beyond 5, I would. If you've not played it yet, please give it a try.
I love this game a lot, but it seems that most of the game is locked behind a giant paywall, but that's not the problem. Most of the stuff you have to pay for has to be bought separately. So yea. ¤~¤
Amazing gameplay, and cool way to tell a story. When you don't know "osu!" and look at its gameplay, for me it looks like it should be played on a touchscreen... This is exactly that, but in my opinion it looks more interesting and polished. The DLCs for more songs are a little expensive in my opinion and of course there is no sideloading for songs, so this is the only way to get a bigger library. The available genres and songs in the simple version are great and the content was worth the money.
I appreciate the game a whole lot, in fact I consider it one of the best game on the store if I don't take into account the pricing. The main issue is that even after buying the game you have to pay more if you want content outside the "free" one you paid. The price tags for packs are just screaming cash grab. You get around 10 songs per character (basically a musical theme) and each character cost ~11€, there are like 15 characters to buy, there is also (30) song packs costing 5.5€ for 5 songs.
