District Museum. Leon Wyczółkowski in Bydgoszcz invites you to explore Bydgoszcz free with an application on the mobile device. It is a multimedia guide to the city with elements of the city game. Navigating the designated tour route, including the Old Town and Downtown, facilitates intuitive navigation. After defeating the delimitation of each section of the trail, you can check their knowledge by answering the task.
Content included in the application are available in Polish and English (text and reader). For people with hearing and sight impairments will be able to zoom photography and font in the text and listen to the information read by the reader.
The issues contained in the guide oscillates around issues such as power, the life of the socio-cultural, religious, social-entertainment and sport inhabitants of Bydgoszcz, architecture, lifestyle, customs, dialect, but also gainful employment in handicrafts, trade, services and industry. Strong emphasis was placed on the multiculturalism of the city of Bydgoszcz and the relationship with the river Brda. In the application placed city maps, posters, advertisements, announcements, images and objects and documents, as well as press releases, memories and fragments of source texts. You will see the old names of streets and squares. The whole spice films with the statements of experts of the music and radio spots commenting on the events of socio-cultural Bydgoszcz.
