Pretty good! I like it so far! For some people who prefer a typical visual game with characters and choices (that's not very clear, actually. I mean games that have characters and scenes and stuff like that, if you understand me 😩), it might not be for you. There are some pictures, but most of it is up to your imagination, like DnD.
This is the first time I have played any of these reading choice games and I must say the experience is very fun. The choices posed are for the most part options I myself would think of for those situations. So far this has been alot of fun even with the pop up ads you have an option to skip the ads with the press of a button so it's not too bad. Game is alot of fun and quite engaging.
So far so good. I am currently on wizard choice 4. So far I find the narrative well written and Intresting. It feels like playing D&D with a prebuilt character which is awesome! I haven't experienced any bugs or issues as mentioned in the other reviews. As far as people. Complaining that this game is a "chose the right choice" and not chose your own choice game I disagree. D&D in real life is that way.
This is honestly a great rpg story, I am absolutely loving it. Really draws you in and holds you in, even when you're tired to the point of no longer being able to keep your eyes open all you want to do is continue the story and keep the adventure going. I really hope the devs keep more story coming and keep this alive. Thank you for a great rpg and story.
I really really love these stories so far 😊 they're fun and engaging but still make you think about your choices with real consequences upon choosing chaotically. And I'm not even halfway through the first section of stories as there are many other after these as well! They're easy enough to unlock as well, though I think I'll be upgrading to premium soon just to support, wherever I get offered a discount which may or may not happen again lol great game!
The first chapter was great only anout 8 ads. However, you can't even read a whole page in the second chapter, when you have to watch 3 or 4 ads. Then, when you get to a decision point, you have to watch another ad. Don't bother installing it.
it was my first time playing a game like this and have to say, after 'wizard's choice 1' I was addicted. The story telling of all the other novels were also Amazing. Everyone involved in the making process of this, did a great job but I just have to mention that the stories that Sam was apart of, were my favorites. The only 'negative' thing I can think of is the lack of pictures but that's just my preference. Overall good game👍
I loved that fact that in game purchases were kept a a minimum and the best way to earn coins was to just ay the game, the writing is amazing covering more than just fantasy with plenty of content, I've been playing for a while and I still haven't finished even 1 of the several series they have. And I know this sounds like a bot writing this review but if you're looking for a CYOA game this is one of your best options.
Really one of the most fun apps I've installed. An abundance of interesting stories, and many many strange situations to experience. Nearly two years after I was first introduced to this game, the stories I read are still memorable to me. Thank you to all who were involved in the making of whatever this madness is, you're very appreciated.
Lots of fun. Interesting choices. While I understand the cost of upgrading to support all the work that went into this it IS pricy but thankfully you can watch ads for a fair bit of coins in order to progress the story when you run out.
I genuinely don't have anything bad to say about this game. The plot, the characters and the choices are all very well thought of. This game has managed to create a whole world and I'm hooked. I LOVE the medieval inspired stories and have grown attached to the characters, even the ones that appeared once or twice. I really hope the medieval stories continue. When I started this game I didn't expect it to be half this good. Thank u to the authors and developers for creating this ❤️❤️
Reading level 📚: Elementary to Middle school Pacing 🕰: skip a paragraph and you're lost Storytelling🧭: Speed! It's a typical DnD style Campaign that's speed ran. Characterization 🧛: (That's up to your choices.) Outside of that, the characters are shallow and surface level. Fun level: It's a cheap thriller. 8/10 Idea of it, 10/10.
One of THE greatest story games I have ever played, context is great, character development, and dialog are all fantastic! Totally would recommend for Dungeons and Dragons player to try out, or if you're new it's easy and simple to understand and use.
A very well written choose your own adventure game that's easy to pick up and put down. Also, not often I play a choice based game in that actually depends on the character your playing as to get the most benefits, and not what the player wants. That's quite unique for me.
This is the gold standard imho for any "choices" game app. I loved that no choices are pay-locked and that the free version is not only fair, but very generous with coin unlocks. Quality of writing is superb, engaging, and very immersive. The upgrade to premium was more than worthwhile after finding myself enjoying so many of the different stories. Definitely way more engaging than any typical rpg app you can find and again, it's THE "choices" game app and all others just pale in comparison.
So far so good. It's like one of those pick your own adventure books from back in the late 70s and 80s. I'm old sorry. Did the first chapter and it was actually fun and kept my attention. I was sort of a captive audience though as I was waiting for my wife at the eye doctor. LoL. I will recommend this game to people. More updates to follow if anything changes. The reason for the 4 stars is that the writing is a bit small and I can't find a way to adjust it.
This game is choice adventure-ish. You can make a decision, but you wind up forced into the decision if it goes wrong. Other than that the story is entralling and decisions do change the outcome a fair bit. Overall definitely worth checking out.
Better than expected. Text based, fair monetization. Love the writing. Pictures for key moments. Gold standard for a mobile game If you love RPGs and your choices mattering definitely give it a shot. If you want pretty graphics and gameplay you're better of looking elsewhere
The stories are enticing and the imagery that's linked is rather detailed and fitting. It's great for someone like me who has always wanted a bit more self-insertion in their nightly reading. (Hope that makes sense)
This is a well written choose the story text. I have only played up to the first checkpoint so I have no knowledge of how meaningful the choices are, but will update when I play through again, or meet a particularly unexpected consequence.
Genuinely an amazing app, choices are admittedly limited and don't branch as much as you might like, but the stories are all amazing and well done. Worth the price of removing adds and all! Keep up the amazing work, devs.
The best DND like game out there if you want good story along with tons of choices that are totally diffrent then this is the game for you. You have to think like the main charecter or you could die if you make smart moves along with some dumb ones then you should be fine and that's what I love about this game. Plus the notes that the creator puts in makes it feel like someone is telling me a story and I'm not just playing an RPG it really does give a DND vibe.
It's seems pretty good (I think I've reached like half of the first story), just why I need of a DnD game like this. I think it would be good they let you go back to the previous page not to change the choices, but only to remember what happened in the story.
The concept is great. The lore seems pretty solid and you can feel the passion behind this game. But unfortunately, the writing was in my opinion somewhat poor, and non engaging. The cost to a lot of decision were not clear. Their consequences often seemed quite random, and at the mercy of what the writer arbitrarily decided to be the 'correct path'.
