• Convert your smart phone into a remote -Change channels using the smart phone, increase/decrease volume, and so on... -The quick zap mode allows you to browse channel logos by genre. Just tap on a logo to change to that channel!
• Browse Program Guide -In the Quick Zap mode, press and hold a channel logo to browse through the Program Guide for that channel.
• Mobile Notifications on TV (available only with Bluetooth Connectivity) -As long as your Smartphone is connected to your d2h STB, you can get all Mobile Notifications of Facebook updates, missed call alerts, new message alerts, etc., on the TV. -A Yellow button is displayed on the TV screen whenever there is a Notification, on pressing the Yellow color button of the d2h STB remote for details.
• Audio Streaming to and from your d2h STB (available only with Bluetooth Connectivity) -Connect your smart phone with the STB through Bluetooth and enjoy seamless audio streaming -Play audio from your Smartphone and listen to it on TV Speakers! -Plug an earphone into your mobile and listen to the d2h STB audio privately.
• Media Sharing from Mobile to STB -You can share Audio/Video/images stored locally in your mobile's memory, from Apps like "Gallery" or those which list and play audio and video files from Share Option. -Now, Select "d2h Smart Remote" from the list of Apps
• Media Casting from Mobile to STB (available only with Wi-Fi Connectivity) -You can play videos from mobile Video Apps like YouTube, Dailymotion, etc on TV. -Here is how you can do it: a. Keeping your Digital STB ON, launch the d2h Smart Remote App on your mobile b. On your Digital STB, launch Smart Connect c. Navigate and select the "Mobile Cast" App from d2h HOME d. Now, launch a Video App on your mobile. For example, YouTube. e. Select the video and Share with "d2h Smart Remote" from the list of Apps
• Social Networking -While watching a program on Live TV, post an event on your Facebook Timeline, stating that you are watching that program.
• Finding your phone (available only with Bluetooth Connectivity) -You can locate your Smartphone misplaced somewhere inside your home, if it is connected with the d2h STB through the d2h Smart Remote App. -All you have to do is press Menu on the d2h STB remote and select Connectivity > Find my Phone option , and your phone will ring giving away its location!Important things you should know• The d2h Smart Remote App is available for Videocon d2h Users only• It is compatible with only select models of Videocon d2h STBs• The d2h STB should support Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Connectivity• Bluetooth connectivity is made available to some d2h STB models through a d2h Bluetooth Dongle which has to be bought as an accessory. After purchasing the dongle, user needs to call the customer care to upgrade the d2h STB software to enable connectivity and subsequently for the App to function.
• In case of Bluetooth Connectivity, features like Media Sharing can be possible only with the help of a USB hub on which both the d2h Bluetooth Dongle and the USB storage (to store shared content) have to be connected.
• Videocon d2h does not sell the USB hub and can be purchased from the market.

Every time ... I hv to reconnect with Bluetooth of setupbox which is kind of annoying .... If I establish connection with stb using bluetooth then it should be saved for future use .... After every 30 to 35 minute i hv to reconnect with stb... IR of this application didn't work with my stb ...
Worst App. Tried giving two mobile numbers which are registered and both the numbers its not accepting. I am using d2h HD STB. Somehow remote is not working and STB dont have buttons. Currently lockdown is there and I cant buy new remote and I cant change channels.
This app really saved time. As I broke remote and had hard time finding replacing it. I used this with my Bluetooth dongle connected device, worked like a charm. Complete replacement of my actual hardware remote.
Though many may not like overall usability, channel dial feature was working earlier ... Now broken !!! Selecting channel doesn't change the channel on STB (quick channel jump)... Not sure the objective of removing such a feature
I wont give even a single star to this app. Videocon has the worst d2h service among all the d2h providers. Once I mistakenly put wrong customer id during recharge, I immediately called customer care service & provided all details. Still they ask me to write an email for the same. done that. still no response. no refund given. I removed videocon, now they call me thrice a day for offers and account recharge which is harrasment. I also asked please do not call, but still getting 3-4 calls daily.
Useless app having lots of issues. I have wifi box and using this app from many days but never worked smooth. Don't waste your money by buying videocon wifi box and this app. This app is created for sake of creating app to just show off they have also app.
Not working. It always says your RTN doesn't match with any box. I don't understand why it won't work, am entering correct number. I think you better update your database before releasing app. And app is not working too.
Giving 1 star, because there is no option to give 0 star or even minus digit. Worst app, neither accepting registered mobile number, nor idenrifying TV set top box with wifi or blue tooth. Worst ever app developed. Why the hell they want to spoil customers time and money.
Useless app. Too confusing. I moved over to airtel. The rf remote, once the original is damaged then your set top box is waste. Duplicates never work as intended
Some Suggestions and Some HELP please !! 1. I don't know how to Hear the TV sound on my Mobile through this app ? 2. How to play music from smartphone ? 3. Fix the voice search option it's not working 4. Please Add special section for Tutorial on How to use this above features
The channel numbers have been changed but this dump remote is trying to go to old channel numbers. Can you guys won't do this simple sync when you change the channel numbers?
Its not connecting at all .....i have tried more than ten times but not connecting and also have deleted many times to see whether it connects next time..but its not. i am irritated

The worst app ever I experience. Setup box/tv sound didn't hear through headphone while using this app. Hope it solve soon
It's very hard to use app, please bring back "IR" option with an update, I found it the only way this app can work. Please add "IR" option.
Worst app by D2H. It doesn't even open. By mistake it open it doesn't connect to Bluetooth dongle. Now I know the reason for failure of videocon.

Even conected set top box through bluetooth to handset app does not find out set top box. Trying for lot of time but does not work. My handset is Red Mi Note 5 Pro
Worst D2H service I have came across in my life. App is kind of joke for videocon it seems . Never make a mistake buying any d2h in my entire life not even make others to buy it. Since k bought , even a brand new it's so slow I can't explain its been 4years now even after so many upgrade it's still damm slow junk box..
Worst ever App. Not getting registered to RTN and not detecting wifi or even bluetooth. My RF remote is not working so I tried for this App but in vain. Hugely disappointed.
This version is old so i request to comapany to update new interface of this app.This create some problem to old age people and not ease of navigation in this interface.Voice command of app is not working it reboot STB.So intrupt entertainment.Please update this old version with new latest new look interface.
Very Bad ! App I don't have bluetooth dongle and Wifi also , so I started trying connecting IR but it is not connecting. D2H please try to fix this problem ! Don't download 👿
Don't even buy videocon connection, its really a pathetic company with worst customer support. You will be trapped. Better go for a good company's connection instead of this unprofessional company. Don't expect much from a company like Videocon. I too lost Rs 1042 as I had to through Videocon set top box which was already recharged and there is no option to take money back. But I'm happy since I said bye bye to Videocon d2h.
It doesn't work in my phone note 9 pro keep saying RTN doesn't match to any box. Waste of time. Customer service do know anything about the app.
Third class service of d2h Videocon products are very bad not best customer service representative they very poor network There are not working smart remote then why r u making that app they are try to selling there other companies products which has dongale Bluetooth or wifi etc. They are wastage my lot of time I tried to connecting remote app in my mobile to tv but not working yet
even after regular recharge of D2H connection, most of the time paid channel shows 'signal not available'. other useless channels are working fine. very bad service. more over costomer care is not bothered for this. Mr Shiba of customer care treated bad. called at 12.10 today (05-05-2019). very bad
Nice application. Works as expected. Search by voice is good option. Connects very quickly to my mobile phone through Bluetooth. But still some bug has to be fixed like, If we search movies, it should show channel list with movie name running. If we search movie name, it will show on later but it won't show in which channel it is running now currently. If we say turn of setup box or TV it should turn off. Rest of the things is OK, so given 4 stars
