Writing this as I wait for my bus that was supposed to come 10 minutes ago, according to the app but never showed up. Was supposed to arrive at 4:40, then disappeared. This has happened on multiple occasions and I am forced to spend money on Uber because this app is unreliable, great job.
This app has become practically unusable. I have a Note 4. At first I was not able to access the scheduled times. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Now, it is glacially slow to load, if it loads arrival and scheduled times at all. 8/1 - I got a new phone, an LG Stylo 5. The app does not allow me to "Search" by bus stop number. I have uninstalled it.
love this app for the most part, but they need to make it compatible with dark theme. the font changes to white, but there's still a white background which makes it functionaly unusable. otherwise pretty decent for being local and small time.
I would like to be able to search point to point destination and get a itenerary of what bus numbers i will need to use and a route map. The search by stop and real time arrivals works pretty good. Help new bus riders out by making searches easier. You need to know the system befor you sesrch in order to find out how to get to the final destination.
It rarely works now. Real time arrivals and scheduled for a stop produce a blank page! It did work at one time but not now. It can't even provide accurate information for buses with GPS! Guess the developers are too busy creating other useless "cool apps".
I think that this bus app is very great an suitable for people that ride the bus oftenly. You can find the times buses arrive at a stop in a variety of ways. The two ways I found were the most helpful was tap a stop and type the stop number. Lastly, this app tells you if a bus or arriving or arrived.
GPS not constant, recently. Shows the Bus not even on the route, or not available at all. This app is good IF you know your route and which stopa you want, it is not helpful for figuring out a route. Use google maps for that.
More often than not and I do mean often the schedules are the most inaccurate I've ever seen. I have called to complain about a number of issues that still haven't been corrected. Your app States within 5 minutes 5:28 a.m. to 6:12a.m. is not 5 minutes. I teach math if you'd like me to teach you how to count I can do that. I catch buses as specific times because I need to be somewhere on time. And frankly I paid too high a monthly price to have to deal with this daily.
The apps needs better GPS syncing for a higher percentage of accuracy. Seattle, WA is accurate. Your better off just using Google Maps.... It's accurate. Just saying.
App is ok. Needs work. Sluggish and sometimes tells me a bus is arriving, bus doesnt come then tells me next bus is in 45 min. Sometimes it says 2 min away, bus never shows up then it says the bus arrived when it never arrived! So frustrating!!! This app need a overhauI. I wish the GPS can better sink to this app in "real time". PLEASE FIX APP! Thank you!
Would be a good app if can log into a new download so it would load all favorite stops saved. Instead of spending hours to find your favorite stops to re save again!!!!!!! NOTICE NEVER ANY COMMENTS BACK FROM DA BUS TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS? SHOWS HOW MUCH THEY CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE!!!
I use this bus daily. Only improvement would be to be able to click on a stop in map view to get stop number and route numbers so you know what bus you need to take to get somewhere you have not been. I would be lost without it.
The app is "okay" when it works, but most of the time the gps is either way off and/or can't find any data despite having wifi/cell data service.
Halfway decent. I used it a lot more when I caught the bus regularly. There is no "competing app," so you are stuck with it. At least on a smartphone, nothing else out there does what this app tries to do.
The app is really slow. I frequently find my self undownloading and redownloading it. Overall a good tool.
Works well, but check, as some busses do not have GPS so times revert to schedule. Same if bus out of radio range. Occasionally busses reschedule before arriving.
Apps not working. Keeps reloading. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail.
Somethings wrong with the app. Routes do not show up and just times out. Please fix!
This is a useful way to get real-time "da bus" arrival information on Oahu. You can also check scheduled arrivals for each stop. Requires data or WiFi. Doesn't seem to work offline.
So Junk. The original DaBus was was easy to use and didn't only show 2 blocks of stops at time or no stops at all. Now to figure out how to put the old DaBus on my new phone from the old
Bus arrival estimations are consistently inaccurate and unreliable. There will also be times when busses will straight up pass you by even though you're standing at the correct stop
I have always hated trying to figure out how bus service works. This app doesn't make it any easier. Waiting for an update. The BIKI app isn't perfect but the bikes are much better if you're not going more than a few miles. Even if you take it slow & easy, you'll get places 3x faster.
