Dacor®, a leader in luxury kitchen appliance innovations, introduces its Discovery™ IQ 30” Wall Oven, the world’s first wall oven to feature the integrated Discovery IQ Controller for Android™. The wall oven’s control panel features Wi-Fi connectivity and mobile technology allowing the home chef to control and monitor the wall oven from any room in the home via any Android™ or iOS smart phone or tablet.

The Discovery IQ Wall Oven empowers its users by giving them the freedom to customize, create and communicate with their appliance. With the Discovery IQ Controller, home chefs have access to the preloaded cooking application and guide as well as the freedom to download any application through the Google®Play Store.

Making cooking a breeze, home chefs have the ability to simply select a desired recipe from the display menu (or download one online), insert the dish, and relax as the oven takes care of the rest. Upon completion of the dish, the Discovery IQ Wall Oven automatically switches to a warming mode and informs the chef via text message that the meal is ready.

To ensure that the wall oven is always operating at peak performance levels, Dacor utilizes Wi-Fi connectivity to provide users automatic system updates and self-diagnostics. The one-of-a-kind product also provides easy-access and ongoing updates to gourmet recipes and video cooking demonstrations.

In addition to its exclusive IQ Controller, the new Discovery IQ Wall Oven is built with signature Dacor features including: a 4.8 cubic foot capacity, ideal for preparing large poultry and multi-rack cooking; exclusive Four-Part Pure Convection™ System which reduces cooking time, provides superior heat distribution and eliminates flavor transfer; GreenClean™ Steam Technology which cleans light build-up in just 30 minutes without the need for high heat or harsh chemicals; and GlideRacks™ equipped with a convenient, easy-pull handle for moving heavier dishes.

The Discovery IQ 30” Wall Oven with exclusive IQ Controller is available with two stainless steel door handle options: the professional Epicure® with chrome trim or the contemporary flush. Pricing for the product as a single wall oven starts at $4,299 UMRP, and as a double wall oven starts at $7,399 UMRP.
