In addition to static data you can see positions of Moon, Sun and eight major planets on the simple sky sphere! The sphere can be rotated by any angle using your fingers.
The Moon phase image is drawn with high accuracy for any date and time. All data is calculated based on user's location (geographic coordinates) and a specified point in time.

★ Photos / Media / Files (read the contents of your USB storage): needed for possibility to set custom sounds for notifications;
★ Run at startup: used to activate notifications after a reboot;
★ Control vibration: used if you want to get notified of certain astronomical events by vibration;
★ Prevent device from sleeping: used when you set up notifications about certain astronomical events (rise, set, moon phase, etc).

This app is sooo cool! I love that I can see the current phase of the moon, what sign it's in and all the planet info... it makes me giddy. Only issue I'm having is getting the notifications to work. The app and my phone are set to allow them but it still won't work. It's not necessarily an issue with the app though and it doesn't detract from how useful and informative it is. I'm really so happy with this app. Best download ever!
I love everything about this app. If I had one wish, it would be the ability to "play" the time forward automatically instead of advancing it manually on the Sphere Update: It comes with a great moon phase wallpaper widget.
Great app especially given the price. Could do with a feature found in others where you can zoom in on a map of the moon to show features and moon landing sites. Otherwise great.
Great job. Just wish you had this app designed for the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, would look beautiful. Could you make the earth and moon interactive to touch, that would be fantastic to & please make this wonderful app. for smart watch, I would love to use it for a face watch. Again great job.
Excellent free application for Moon and Son. It would be great if I can stop (pause) the clock at any given time to check other objects parameters. Also, if I can see rise and set time chart on one screen for both the sun and the moon with rising and setting azimuth.
Very accurate! I actually went to an observatory with professionals to study the moon and stars and they had live feeds going with their own professional equipment and the readings were almost exactly as in the app when I compared them!
This really is a wow app. I'd originally come to it for full moon exact timing however after months of utilising it for this purpose today I had a more thorough look at the vast amount you can look in to. Absolutely incredible. You can rewind dates and times I went back to this April 13th at 15.20 the exact time I was born in 1979 to see the planet alignment. I'm off to see if I can go back as far as 79 just now. I'm going to donate as soon as I get paid and I never do that but I am with this!
Great app, useful and has been for years now. I would like to see a feature wherein current local weather data can be periodically collected remotely or input manually, archived for a period, integrating the data chronologically and displaying it along with the existing viewing modes and features of this app... If theres something to say about the moon then this app says it. Daft definitely defines that damn moon.
This is THE best astronomical platform I have found to this date. It is an absolute must have for anybody with even the smallest interest in the heavens above us. It should be Editors Choice for sure!
This is a very detailed app definitely too much for my neurodivergent brain to ever comprehend in one sitting, but it's rather interesting and seems like a great reference if I ever find time to learn more about it.

Nice app. I would like it to incorporate astrology stuff in it- relative planetary velocities, in particular. But lovely graphics.
It won't tell you went then moon does a lunar eclipse. Which completely changes the light of the Moon.

Incredible amount of information, really is the best celestial app, covers alot more than just moon phases and is really quite precise.
The app does everything I need, and is customisable. The only thing I would suggest might be to change the app name - "daff" makes it not so easy to find on the app store.
I've just installed this app and although the format of presentation is vastly different from the other apps that I use for photography I like it very much 😀. As another reviewer said the only very obvious "bug" is that the moon rises in the "west" and sets in the "east" for users in the Southern Hemisphere. Having said that, I "played" around with the advancing and retreating time/date controls at the top and found the above mentioned "bug" to not be consistently incorrect. Looking to be great
