Daily Audio Bible Mobile App

I love the thought behind the app and I love how soothing Chris is. The app, however, has issues. It's constantly shutting itself down completely in the middle of the daily audio. Always happens at least once. Sometimes it happens multiple times. Frustrating, especially while driving.

Why does it keep crashing? It's very aggravating to have to close out the app, reopen it, then skip around trying to find out where you were. It happens several times a day 😥 I absolutely love the readings and the explanations so i keep going. But it does get frustrating.

I love the daily audio bible and the app makes it so wonderful and convenient to use, when it works properly. Unfortunately the app is constantly freezing and crashing, making it barely usable.

Absolutely pivotal part of my day. Even my toddler loves "daily audio kids" (that's what he calls it).

The one positive thing I can say about this app is it builds character because of all the trials you endure to use it!!! What a nightmare with constant crashing/freezing/log in, losing history, just to name a few. Then uninstalling app, rebooting device, clearing cache, reinstalling all to no avail. I've finally given up on it. I believe that God is telling me to move on, so I am. It could actually be a really useful tool IF the software developers could get their act together.

I wish i could give it 5 stars. The reader is engaging, the layout is intuitive, everything is great, except: 1. Frequently crashes. It crashes all the time. Answer a txt? Crashes. Decline a phone call? Crashes. Accidentally hit the home button and re-open the app? Crashes. 2. Download for offline use function is broken. The downloaded redings disappear at random. Can't keep a lesson for more that a day or so before I have to download it again.....

Not liking this latest update. It wiped out all episodes - even unlistened - from the date of install. It doesn't automatically show new episodes. It keeps abruptly stopping and then you have to use the slider to guess where it left off. So, I uninstalled/reinstalled app to see if problems would fix ... now I can't log in to my account at all in the app.

Update 1/2/20: I contacted tech at DAB & they worked with me to fix the issues. Thank you! The app works well and the upgrades are great!!!! The upgrade is HORRIBLE! It constantly crashes on my Android and doesn't recognize my password or email that works perfectly on my desktop. It skips and fades out during playback and doesn't remember my place after crashing so I always have to restart. I hope you can correct these bugs because I like the new features and LOVE DAB

I uninstall and reinstalled the app today. Since I still had the old version on my phone I have been using that for over 2 weeks. All of a sudden the newer model stop and the screen goes blank. What is up with that? Are you guys working on it. Paster Hardin keeps referencing the new app ...where we can do this or that but.for some we are unable to tap into this goodness, so please help us. I am a long time listener for about 13 years now. This is good stuff. Thank you and the LORD bless you.

The issue mentioned below has been resolved!: Loved this app until recently. An update made it impossible to use. It may be a daily reader, but the daily reading doesn't show up! I have to uninstall the app, then reinstall it to get new episodes. I think I may just abandon this until it is fixed. At least I can still read for my One Year Bible.

I love DAB and have been using it for years now. Since yesterday it does not open on the phone for some reason when i click on the app it attempts to open but simply closes and won't open. Secondly when it used to work i would be listening to the word and suddenly it stops and i have to restart it again. Overal your doing a great job

While i truly love the reading of the word, the app itself is a horrible mess. If i have it playing in the background and it pauses or stops for any reason, the notification control closes out whatever in doing and brings up the app in full, which then proceeds to start from the beginning rather than where i left off. Yesterday i just closed it and it started randomly playing again as i was watching Facebook videos.

Not sure what's going on, I have listened for the last 2 years completely and Saturday it told me the app was cancelled by owner, I downloaded again & it keeps saying connecting to servers but never does anything! I uninstalled & reinstalled & it's doing the same thing! Not very happy, missed 2 days now!!! What's going on???? I would have given a 5 star since I had no problems for 2 years !!

I really love this app and want to make sure that I express my concerns as well.The recent updates makes it difficult to manage. Each time I try to login, it's always not recognizing my login details and when I log in as a guest and finish the days reading, closed the app, it still just starts reading again by itself. When I go in to stop the reading, closing the app, it goes back and forth on and off by itself. It is very frustrating, until I delete the app, it did not stop reading itself.

I really love DAB. It is a great app and have never really had any problems.

But, I am having a problem with the app. I haven't been able to use it for the past few days, because I can't open it. I tried to reinstall it but it still doesn't work.

Love the voice but the interface crashes all the time

Stops while listening to DAB...Then have to start over. Very annoying
