Daily Bible Devotion

Happy New Year! Why stuck on 12/31/2018?Uninstalled and reinstalled to fix, but that didn't work. Pls fix soon. Thanks! Awesome app! I love that it's user friendly. There're a lot of ads, but not too bothersome. I noticed a few glitches; it keeps asking me to rate the app when I already have, my moto will not stay, and sometimes it freezes, so I have to log out/in to refresh it. These things are annoying, but they do not detract from the overall quality and usefulness of the app.

Too many full screen ads with sound. I have used this for 3 years and really liked it (past tense). However the ads have overtaken the app. i am reading a verse then a full screen ad pops up. The method to close the ad is different each time. Also, now they have pushed volume on the pop up ads.. I understand the financial need but this ridiculous. It was an awesome app but it has been polluted with annoying and rude ads.

A simple but to the point devotion. It gives the Word from God of the bible right when you open it.

I Absolutely love this app, its perfect, so encouraging, speaks to me in so many ways, perfect scriptures at God perfect timing!, I love it! But I recently got a new phone and just reinstall this app again, still love it but too way too many pop up ads very annoying , gets in the way of my reading daily scripture, need to get rid of the ads

This app would be perfect - short and sweet devotions, daily reminders - if not for the distracting, intrusive ads that out weigh any positives. I really appreciate the content but cannot (literally) see past the ads to study the message. I understand they need advertising for this to be free but I wish they wouldn't place the ads right in the middle of the text. *Sigh* until then, I guess I am deleting it and looking for another...

The jokes are weak, and the email thing is annoying. I like the app, I even purchased the unlimited version. Unfortunately, I'm plagued by a full-page nagging to sign up for an email list, even though there's already 2 recurring daily emails since I bought the app that I think must be associated. Like, come on. What a pain. Also, "amen" isn't a comment.

So thankful for this app. Each morning & evening devotional has a short scripture and commentary. Perfect for a busy day and has brought me back to the truth quickly, in moments when I'm not able to pull out my Bible. The app does contain ads, and they occasionally seem related to my Google searches. Doesn't bother me, since I mostly search for home decor, women's clothing etc. But hopefully they have some sort of filter and aren't encouraging anyone's bad habits 🙃

Been using this for years, until now. Tried to read this morning's devo But got a blastingly loud advertisement. And once you get to the devo pages, Ad images usually take up more than half of the screen. I know ads help pay their bills, but unfortunately for this app, the ads have overlapped the application itself. It is unfortunate since the content was nice and simple but meaningful. Will be uninstalling and using a different one.

A verse, a small easy-to read message, plus a trivia fact and a joke? Perfect for setting the practice of getting into God's word! I love how it is morning and evening too -- double blessing. Also, the interactive comment section was a pleasant bonus. Makes me feel connected instead of doing this alone. Yes, there are ads you have to close when you open the app. Reminds me to put all distractions aside and focus on God.

I like the app a lot! the only problem is sometimes I have to close the app and re open it to make the daily devotions appear. they will never load if I don't close and re open. also the ads will flicker some times. but other than that I love this app so far! it's the only devotional app I have found and stuck with. fix the minor bugs and I will rate 5 stars!!

I love this app just like everyone else I feel like the ads are to much. I do enjoy a reminder and I think it'd make a great alarm clock option. I feel like this has really helped heal my negative thinking in a good way. I'd love an alarm option.no always look forward to them. I'm raising four stars because of the ads. :(

Could have been rated 5-stars, but for the excessive, intrusive ads! Suggestions: Either: 1. Re-design ads to be positioned outside reading-space, or just less-interruptive. OR 2. Give options of moderate-priced, Paid (Ad-free) and Free (Ads-containing) versions of app. Thanks to developers.

The whole app. is excellent. Quick and extremely easy way to promote Biblical thoughts that leave you meditating on their meaning throughout the day. I especially love that you can leave comments each day and read what others have written concerning the message you just read. Perfect for souls on the go, who insist on making God a priority in their lives.

I have tried a variety of devotional apps that allow ads. This devotional has the worst Ad display I have ever seen. The Ad takes up a large portion of the screen, I daresay a larger space than the actual devotional text or Bible passage. {depending on which part you are reading, the Ad sits right in between Bible text and devotional text}. I am definitely uninstalling. Wish I could give 0 star

I LOVE this app, but placing the ad right between the verse and the part that explains how it applies to your life is really frustrating. I used to be able to send screens hits of the whole thing to others it reminded me of and now I can't because the ad in right in the middle of it.

Love the content, would give it a 5, but could do without the pop up ads, in particular the auto play videos. I understand ads pay for it but would rather them be on the sides or bottom all the time vs something I have to acknowledge or exit to get to the content.

One of the first things in the imirning s that I read my daily devotions. It's good for my "soul"! I give it a 5 stars and will encourage others to make it a part of their daily lives.

I read this Daily Bible Devotion every day. I love it. But, could you please stop letting Google continue to print ads that go over the devotional. I can't read it when they do that. I have hit the "x" every day and indicate that I am not interested in the ad, but they continue to post the ads even though it says that they will stop posting the ads. I may have to switch to a different devotion in the future even this is my favorite. Thank you.

it worked fine for a few weeks, now it doesn't know what day it is and so gives random old readings again. Of those it does show it often only shows the morning one and never the evening. This is before you factor in the hugely inteusive adverts. Sadly uninstalling. This app has a lot of potential but needs work.

I truly dislike all the ads that appear in the middle of the biblical reading. In the past, the ads would appear prior to being directed to the daily reading. Now, they appear directly within the text of the verse. This new feature is so annoying. When I'm focused on God, I really do not want to see ads interrupting the text.

I've used this app for years, but am uninstalling due to the amount of ads. I don't mind the static ones, but the forced video ads when you open the app is too much. This is usually the first thing I check in the mornings. If I've listened to anything prior with my volume up, I get a video blaring at me during what was supposed to be my quiet time. I also see that the parent company, Salem New Media, pushes Right-Wing political propaganda. This is shameful.

I enjoy reading it twice a day. My mind has not been focused on the priorities that it should be on near enough. But, this app does hold my mind accountable twice a day of taking the time to read it. Thank you for the reading material & good insight on how the words relate to everyday Living. ❤️🕊️ ❤️

I love how every day I wake up to God's word and it's great! I know God is using the creator of this app because everyday basic on what is going on in my life is exactly what I needed to hear, it's so easy to use and yes there's ads but it's what makes it free. We all need to make a living and they choice to keep it free which is how most christian want to keep it. It also has a night time mode and you can adjust the text size. I don't use glasses but perfect for those who do. Well haveABlessDay

it seems that every time it switches months theres an issue. I went through this when we went from December to January and now from January to February. I love the devotionals when they're there, but its getting frustrating. Here it is the evening of February 2 and mine still shows January 31.
