Daily Budget

Great, simple, exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I have encountered is occasionally the widget doesn't update until you tap and open it. But that is not a real problem for me if everything else works, which it does

This is a very simple App that when used regularly is a huge help to budgeting. There are a few features I wish it had, like a search function for expenses, and a savings goal feature. it would be nice if lets say you're saving for a TV at the end of the month it would deduct it from the daily amount until your goal was reached. Otherwise, very simple yet practical and affective.

Finally exactly what I was looking for in a budgeting app. No useless features to distract from my budget, no syncing bank accounts and dictating expenses from it, just a simple budget breakdown app that works the same way I plan my expenses. Pro has good features but the free version has everything you need without locking essentials behind a paywall. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this I will be using it for a long time coming.

This works if you are salaried. If your income changes every paycheck, this doesn't work. You can enter it when it comes in instead of a recurrence, but then the daily income breakdown doesn't work. In addition, if you want to set up a recurring expense, you have to set it up on the day it occurs. As in if your mortgage/rent is on the 22nd of the month, you have to set that expense up on the 22nd, and set it to monthly. You can't adjust the date. Good concept, but needs some updates to work.

Great, can be greater! This is just what I've been looking for, I would love to see more ways to view stats and different types. A line chart for savings over time, a bar chart with income/expense side by side. And maybe developing a smoother rounded look for the stats page. An option to assign a colour to each expense category.

The iOS app with the same name is much better kinda simmilar but much better. Might be that this lacks behind a bit or is a copy. In any case some improvements are missing such as autocomplete (suggestions), display of overtime expenses and income over time in the History, and some way of exporting / backup to name a few. The widget (premium) is really nice tho as 99% of the time that is what you will do and what you want to see. More variations would not hurt.

I've been using this app for a long time. I love the way that you can manipulate the budget as things change and bills go up or down. My only concern is that I have to go back and forth between the income and expenses. I wish there was a way to see the whole picture on one screen. I also used the app on my other tablet when I was recently carrying two mortgages.. One budget showed the reality of what was and the other of what could be. Now I only have one mortgage and fewer bills.

Maybe i may be missing it but the only feature that i feel is missing is a monthly savings option, where you can choose how much you want to save each month and it takes it away from your daily budget. Im coming from iOS and from using the Daily Budget Original app. Aesthetically it's similar to this app, but that one pivotal feature is missing here. EDIT: Found that you can just add savings as a recurring expense so thats fine

Love it and have a few suggestions - The widget is great, first of all. Highly recommend upgrading. That being said I used to use a similar (same dev?) App on my iPhone that had a ton of functionality that was very useful. Devs, I would take a look or if you are the same then try to implement in the Android environment if possible. I really like the interval ability to spread out larger purchases but I would like to see my daily income, minus intervals and daily regular expenses

This is a great app. I've used the other iOS app that this is often compared too, and it is on par. Just select the end date in the transaction and your purchase will be distributed over those days. The widget is more useful than that other app and it does the job well for managing my spending budget. The only issue I have is the colour scheme doesn't work well with dark mode, using the calendar for distributed payments in dark mode is unreadable. Even light mode is a little too light.

I've just installed this so maybe I'm doing something wrong but it doesn't seem to make sense so far. I've added a starting balance and a time period until I'm next paid. I've then entered an expense which is less than the starting balance. But the app shows that I have a negative balance which reduces by the daily amount that it calculated from my initial starting balance. Surely the daily amount should be recalculated based on how much money I'm now showing and how many days I've got left

I'm liking the base idea of the app, but I would really need an option to share the settings and inputs with other people since we have a shared economy. The fact that there is no synced account or way to add someone else severely reduces the usefulness for me. If this were possible, I'd buy the full app on the spot

A lot of reviewers wish for more features, but this is exactly what I wanted. You don't need a start date for the month or anything else. Think of it like pocket money (you get £20 a day, after everything else has been paid for, for example). It adds this £20 every day to your total and as long as you dont end your month in the negative with what you subtract, you'll be fine! This for me is the only way budgeting has ever worked. 1 negative: currently notifications don't work. Hope this is fixed

I like this App. It's a great app. I've already used it a few years ago, I am thinking about use it again. But I notice two annoying things: 1- When I try to buy the PRO version, it says that I already have it, but anyways i can't have access to the PRO features. 2- It should be possible to choose when a Regular Income or Expense occurs. For instance I what to add my salary for every 25th of the month.

This is perfect for my brain - other budgeting apps don't quite help me capture how much money I really have to spend, getting a daily figure for what's available is great and I love being able to manually enter my expenses! This avoids any confusing double payments since I buy most things with credit card.

This app works well. I like the way it breaks down the budget into a daily spending value. Developers may want to look into change the font or background color when you select the interval option. White on white is pretty impossible to see.

This is what I have been looking for. Simple easy budgeting. It would be even better if there was a way to have multiple people access at the same time though so both me and the wife can contribute. Also the widget doesn't work which is a shame as this is a good feature. Maybe this can be fixed in future? I purchased the app but feel a bit robbed that this feature doesn't work

Wonderful App! One thing that would make this app worth 5 stars to me would be adding functionality to use an account with all of the information saved to it. So the app can be installed on my device and my wife's device with all of the expenses and income updated from both devices. Otherwise keep up the great work!

Absolutely has everything you need, except calculates the wrong numbers.... Put in the income and it shows it as 200+ more on the monthly total and expenses were also more than the actual total amount. It's hard to make corrections if the data it's telling you is off.

It started very well, it worked perfectly. But after I bought premium access it began to fall apart. Like I've got zero regular expenses set and the app STILL substracs some magically calculated amount from my daily budget. Ended up using a Google Spreadsheet. Wish I could get my money back.

I ran into the same issue as a previous reviewer- I purchased the premium version of this, thinking it was the Android version of Daily Budget on iOS, which was recommended to me. It is not at all the same app, and lacks much of the functionality I was looking for (i.e., having monthly budgets, and not just daily). I am also not sure how my "balance" was calculated, as it doesn't match the income I inputted (could you explain how this is calculated?). I'd appreciate a refund.

The app is excellent. The only thing it laks (and would make me pay for it, I suposse) is the ability to have more than one account. I had to find another app that does the same that this one does just to make it posible (and its not easy. Aparently, Android users are good at finance and not a disaster like me to need an app like this)

Update: rated higher due to developers timely response to issues. Issue: Factory reset my phone and tried to restore this app. None of the info came with it and no longer uses the premium service I paid for. When I click on premium, it just says "Error, you already purchased".

Highly rate this app. Does almost everything id like it to. Personally I wish it had some feature to automatically split my income into different categories based on percentages set for each category. Otherwise it's perfect.

This app is pretty good at what it does but it doesn't have the ability to set the time your budget refills as far as I can tell so my budget was loading at 5pm and I would prefer to set it to another time. Apart from that the app is pretty great!
