Daily Dose of Language

Update: Android 11, Pixel4XL, it doesn't send any notifications. I have to manually open the app daily. Still not fixed when updated to 11. (They're turned on, it says app hasn't sent any.) Original review: I'm really enjoying how this app focuses on not just a single word, but on a theme. For example, one day's focus was "house work": words for various cleaning chores. Very practical and useful! I also like being able to review past days.

Excellent for a beginner to learn new words, or for an intermediate student to practise. Unexpected words with sample sentences are always delightful, and the interactive date function is especially useful. Improvements: the video lesson occasionally does not work, but I've not had any trouble with the audio lesson.

I love how the app includes the date. You see the month everyday until the month is done with and the next starts. It also includes the day of the week. The only thing I don't like is there is no option to remove the romanization.

Wish I could tell you what this app even does, have never been able to successfully log on for more than 10 seconds. Pathetic. Even got a "This website is not trusted. Do not give any of your Personal Information" notification from my antivirus software when I went on the technical support page. Again, pathetic not sure if app needs fixing or is just a complete scam.

Good but there isn't enough variety... I use it every day and have done for 7 months although it is starting to get rather repetetive and that isn't great as I am getting much better at speaking Japanese thanks to this app. Please add more activities!! Otherwise very convenient and helpful :)

It's nice to get actual useful Spanish phrases with pronunciations and explanations. I have been using this app for years and I appreciate it adding to my font of knowledge. You can specify the daily dose. For example, mines is for Mexican Spanish. I would like other options such as Dominican or Puerto Rican Spanish.

For the moment everything seem good. I love that you have good explanations. And that you can check the frases in the English translation. So you have a better understanding of the translation and way of comunicating in the language you are trying to learn.

Activation Takes Days to Update App Login. Experience : Install App. Can't even login. Already activated via email. Already changed to simple password via web page (through activation link). Already updated to the latest version. The 'Forgot your Password' is borked, not allowing input of email address also. What's going on? When's this going to get fixed/debugged? I'm not the first reviewer of 2019 with this same problem. Solution : Wait multiple days. Now logs in. Fix for Rate >3 stars.

I truly used to love this app. Because of this app i have even paid money to get full feautes on the past and I have recommended it to many friends. However it has been months I cannot even open the app at all! An error message pops up and shuts down.

When. your new language is on the line, having a team to help you get through the event helps alot. Not only that, but one can see the future more clearly. Just don't dive in and have to tread water either in finances or study time.

Brilliant for a quick dose of a new Japanese daily word and for learning to say the current date. But if you want more advanced, you can do the whole daily lesson. Great app.

A colleague recommended who is a frequent traveler, and I find extremely helpful. I haven't utilized the plus feature but info I have currently is great for Japanese right now.

Tbh... I can't log in, that's my only problem. "Make sure internet connection is strong" or something along those lines.(even tho I have a strong connection) Please fix that, this "resource" could really help me. So for now, * Uninstalled *

I would put zero stars but one star is the least I could do. When I pressed continue to sign up it said this might take a minute, but after 5 minutes it was still loading. Don't bother getting this app it is a waste of space and time. ☹️👎😠

The application is great and easy to use while one problem that I encountered was that the video lesson option isn't working.

It is a very good app for learning a language especially Spanish. I am learning Japanese but I think it is good for learning all the languages which are available here

First time trying to learn a new language, having a daily lesson helps. This gives practical, easy to remember lessons.

I removed. I dont undestand why a simple app need a lot of permission access like: Fotos/mídia/arquivos read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storage Armazenamento read the contents of your USB storage mod

It's good content wise but I honestly really wish I had the option of getting a reminder/notification to check the daily lesson instead of just remembering to hop in.

Basically, this is a great app, however, for the last 2 months, my player continuously encounters a problem and the video the z cannot be played. Why is that? And how can I fix it?

Really useful for language learning. However, I had to reinstall it, since it stopped working, it shut down immediately every time I opened it

Videos don't load! Says "We have a small problem with the App", then nothing happens and no exclamation why or how to fix it!

I'm loving this app,I love the lessons that come with the word everyday. I've always loved Japanese pod 101. And when I saw it was by them I was super happy! ありがとございます！ だいすきJapanese pod 101!

I used to like this app, but can't log in since I change phone. It shows waiting for log in and freeze there.......

Any plan for supporting more languages? I like this app but waiting for the Swedish, which is under "coming soon" category quite long time. Are there any plan for this within this year?

Excellent daily lesson to spike my interest. They come from full courses at Russianpod101, but for now I find this is just the right amount for me.
