It was an excellent source for local news. However, they have begun to charge for their service and I CANNOT AFFORD it. Therefore, I am no longer able to access the Daily Local News.
I installed this app. Then after ONE article it kept telling me I reached my Max and had to subscribe! Don't advertise free if it's not!!
Doesn't know ... doesn't even ask ... if I am a subscriber. Doesn't offer the e-Edition as promised by subscription.
Your app is poor disgusting can't find what you want I do not like it your paper is shity to put what you want in there you only put black faces on there too
I am not happy with this app . I will not renew. Seriously...i am seeing the news from May on July 12th!? SMH.

Suddenly stopped working on my android galaxy 7 tablet. Previously had worked properly. Sent all crash reports with no reply. Will not open. Reports "Sorry DLN has stopped". Guess no one cares so I'm uninstalling.
I have installed this app 3 times and it never worked! Its horrible!
Re installed several times. Cannot even open the app.
Good app for almost all content. However, cannot find obituaries.
The new firmat is teerible. Plus there is no police blotter in the menu. Hard to navigate

This app is terrible, please bring back the old one. Anymore there is nothing but sports, if I wanted that I'd go to a sports site

Offers a lot of interesting news stories that the bigger outlets really don't report on. It's a great way to keep up with changes in the smaller townships rather than the bigger cities in the area. The only downside is that it is a rather large app for only being a news app.
Galaxy Note 4 this app is very slow to load and constantly glitches when I want to read an article. I PAY for this app. I wish it could work smoother.

It takes an age for this ponderously slow app to load. Upon launch, the user must stare at a useless white screen for several seconds, for no apparent reason at all. After some free articles, it demands a subscription (despite also feeding you ads).
No way to give your zip code or city for true local news.
With the recent changes, the app is much better. People should update their reviews.

Ever since the new update, it won't even open. If it does, you can't use it and needs to be force closed. Love this app before update.
Unusable now. Stuck on prompt to Choose Edition - with no options and no way to bypass. Typical for the Local - I wish there was another source for local news
Since your last "issue" and your "newest" update you lost me! I use to love this app.. But you had to keep trying to make it better when it was perfect just the way it was. Look at your comments from other readers. Go back to how it was! You didn't make it better with your last updates! Uninstall!
I loved it until recently now it does.not work at all I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times in the past few weeks.I am uninstalling permanently. Your app is seriously flawed for both android and iphone I have tried it on both.
I used to love this app, I'm from Coatesville...ever since the last update on the 14th of Jan, there's no more Local News Section ! I guess they want you to BUY THE ACTUAL NEWSPAPER! WELL, I'VE NEVER SEEN A MEDIA OUTLET TAKE A TECHNOLOGICAL STEP BACKWARDS
The app is broken. Keeps saying chose your edition but it has no choices and it keeps spinning. Please fix it I follow them on twitter so all is not lost. Great paper!
As mentioned in previous reviews, this app is broken and doesn't offer help in any way. Used to be a great app. Please change back!!
Doesn't integrate with your browser. For instance, I am a paid subscriber...and if I click on Google News (a Daily News story), it doesn't recognize I have the app. Just a prompt to choose: 1) Subscribe... or 2) No thanks. 2nd biggest issue: when I what to read the article (found on Google News), I open the Daily News app... you Cannot, I repeat, cannot, search in the App. Crazy. Good news source when it works. The technology may be a head wind in getting and retaining subscribers.
