Daily Prayer: from the CofE

Needs rotate and zoom function for screen, link to send emails for suggestions produced unreadable email address. Could be a good app as the prayer is first rate. Seriously let down by the functionality of the screen. I just can't read it.

A very good app. Please could it be enabled for smart speaker? I would love to just be able to say "Alexa play Daily Prayer".

Great, simple little app - perfect for the purpose. Only one complaint: 'contemporary' is misspelled in the menu as 'comtemporary'! Would it be possible also to include an option in a future release to be able to 'turn pages' of the prayer services rather than scroll, e.g. tap the right side of the screen to 'turn a page' to advance through the service, as one can do on a Kindle or other e-reader? Scrolling is a little bit distracting sometimes.

This is so great for resting in the Daily Office! I love that it gives me everything without having to mark and flip pages (which is distracting) and it also gives me the option of more traditional or contemporary. It's a wonderful option for anyone wanting to engage in the Daily Offices, whether it's old hat or a new discipline. I also appreciate that it covers the whole screen so you don't see the time and notifications.

A nice little app, and really like the audio option, except it's quite unreliable. I like to walk and pray, but an interruption in phone signal seems to stop the audio, and media bar disappears, meaning you have to close, reopen the app then try and guess how long it has been running, would be great if this could be fixed

Beautifully designed app. I had this on my phone some years ago but I deleted it because it was too large (the data could not be stored on the external storage). This has now been remedied and I have reinstalled. It is a faithful reproduction of the official Church of England Daily Prayer Book. But better, because the appointed Psalms and Readings are already in place. I do wish it also had a section for the readings etc of the Daily Eucharist.

Great app, but doesn't work well on Galaxy S10 with latest Samsung-released build of Android. Once the UI disappears for a full-screen view of the prayer, there's no way to restore the UI controls.

Works perfectly and brings pleasing discoveries each day. It took a while to find the menu from which one can change to the older forms of words. A great app!

On my phone, this app is absolutely brilliant. On laptop if I try to enlarge the font size it becomes illegible. Thus I cannot use it and I don't have any sight issues generally! It is terribly small

A much easier app to use than the Episcopal ECP because it resumes your place after clicking on a hyperlink to, say, the seasonal intercessions. A much better translation of the psalms than the Australian prayer book one and pleasing layout. And it opens to the office of the hour. Only lack is a noon office.

I absolutely love this. I find it more comprehensive than the next nearest prayer app. I also enjoy the flexibility within each prayer session and onward links ie to the cycle of prayer. To get 5 stars, i would love for this to be smart speaker enabled which is really the only reason I ever use the other player app.

Am missing the audio option on Morning and Evening Prayer, introduced a few weeks ago. It stopped this weekend. Would really like that to return. Perhaps also for Night Prayer? Much appreciated, especially when portions are sung.

A super app. So helpful to have the day's readings, psalm and collect with no page turning. It makes the set morning prayer so much more accessible. We use it at midweek services with 2 spare tablets for guests.

Would be great if it supported landscape mode. I can't keep my Galaxy tab propped up using its case, and it's hard to hold for that long.

I appreciate all the work that's gone into this App and all the people who make the daily audio possible. However, may I make a few suggestions? Not all responses are the same as printed, particularly when it comes to the prayers - a brief intro to inform us as to the correct response would be appreciated. The same for psalms, please can the reverand announce which are said responses and which will be sung by the choir. How about a nice church background to the services instead of a plain sheet?

As an American Episcopalian I am franky jealous of how well done the Church of England's daily prayer app is. It offers both the 1662 and Common Worship options for the office, offers a free option with an internet connection and a paid subscription for offline access. You can customize the time that the app transitions from defaulting to MP to EP and from EO to Compline. Only 2 things it lacks are a dark mode and the option to do Common Worship in traditional language.

Excellent! For anyone who is unable to attend Mass, this is a wonderful way to still feel connected with the Body of the Church. The audio is just lovely and enriches the app enormously. Three beautiful havens of rest throughout the day to bring you His peace.

Very useful app, but stops working every few months and then randomly might work again after a few weeks if I am lucky. Don't know why.

Love this app! And it now had an audio feature on some of the prayers which I've just noticed and am way too excited about! The structure really helps me and kept my pray life going. A big thank you to the team who makes this app!

Would be marvellous if the services could be made compatible with the android accessibility read aloud functions like Select to Speak, or other similar apps. Even better if this could be built into the app.

This is an excellent app. I would ask if the BCP lectionary could be an option please, and also an option to have the daily psalms on Sunday instead of the CW lectionary ones.

Not working properly. Says I only have basic free subscription but then when I try to subscribe to twelve month sub it tells me that I'm already paying for it. I do appear to be paying so please look into this for me.
