The selections given in this volume were first published in the monthly issues of the "Record of Christian Work" and were found very helpful for devotional purposes. They are also a mine of thoughts, to light up the verses quoted. Being of permanent value, it has been thought desirable to transfer them from the pages of the magazine to this permanent volume.

Loved the app until the last update. Now the quote, verse, and other stuff scroll past before you have time to read it. Does not give you time to really absorb what the meaning is before it has moved to something else.

Very uplifting and inspiring
I find it very useful but it would be good to have the morning and evening prayers to back to. Be able to see the past morning and evening prayers instead of the reflections.
I love this. It gives me meat of the Bible. I tried reading it to my grandchildren & they could not understand it, so I think it is for older Christians. It is so informative & uplifting. I recommend it for drawing one closer to the Lord. Thank you very much for this app.
I love this app and use it everyday. However, adding something to favorites is confusing. The state of the icon for something as favorite or not is not consistent and clear.
I love the tools, scripture, and wisdom this app provides, but its grammar and punctuation errors make it difficult to concentrate. As an English professor, I would gladly proofread it for free.
The morning and evening prayer plus the devotional are well written, thoughtful, and make my quiet time so meaningful. The simple, but beautiful layout makes establishing a devotional rhythm easy.

The Bible verses and readings NEED to be in NIV to get the younger people. I get it but they wouldn't, and I share this to my entire Facebook family everyday. The artwork catches their eye and reels them in! The content needs to match the artwork. Easy on the eyes (comprehension) so to speak
