Adds are ridiculous. App has a nice feel otherwise. I would pay to remove Amazon garbage blasting at me, but there is no way to remove them. I still would pay for pro but look at the reviews. The dev could care less about this app
This has truly been a real blessing in my sobriety! I have the book but this is much better because I have my phone with me most of the time! Just switched to an iPhone for the 1st time and was very disappointed not to find it in the Apple store! Can you please see what you can do? Thanks for a great Android app!
It only allows you to pick a sobriety date in the first 3 weeks of each month and my date falls on the very last day so I can't have my date calculated. Enjoy the reading but had to download additional app for clean time calculator. So if you want it to calculate your days also make sure your date isn't later in the month
Good app but I have to update the language every time I open it.
A surefire way to start your day !!
Gets me centered and focussed on my program.
It speaks to me.
Opened app and had an advert for save our pubs hardly ideal for a recovery app
I read this everyday it keeps me spiritually fit just for the day.
Love it
The content is great, but has two fatal flaws! 1- The "Sobriety Time" tab only shows the top quarter of the letters/numbers, you can't make out what it says. I've reinstalled the app and even set the font and transparency back to default. 2- Ads do not bother me, I know I can easily pay $4 to get ad free. However, it would be VERY beneficial to make sure the ads do not contain ANY sound. Since the Daily Reflections are often used in morning/ evening meditations, and at meetings, the sound is VERY disruptive
Thanks so much for this app. Trying it out now and it's great, ads and all. Thanks for making a free version available, even though the paid version is very affordable.
Sobriety calculator doesn't work. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the sobriety calculator still doesn't show, just 2 blank grey bars and a background.
I love the app, but the notification doesn't disappear after opening the notification or the app. It remains on my screen.
Look forward to reading it each day. My phone is always with me. Not concerned with sobriety calculator. Its a day, moment, at a time life!
Right on new year's day, an obnoxious bug started happening. 24/7 push notifications for the "daily reflections". UPDATE, 1/14/'17: After emails with the developer, the bug's now fixed. A cache clear out, & uninstall/reinstall cured it. Thanks!
No one can cast the first stone, since no one is the HIGHER POWER..oh wait, I forgot I was! LOL :P
A daily reading from Alcoholics Anonymous
Reminds me everyday to read the daily reflection. Perfect
Daily words of wisdom.
The app keeps crashing, especially when it's opened from the daily reminder alert. Also it seems to have miscalculated my sobriety after the first month - it's jumped straight to 1 year...
Best daily I have ever had. Helps me keep my head held high. Daily counter still isn't working however.
Great app I need this in my life
All of them!
Sobriety feature issue... I can't find where I can enter my sobriety app. That's no big deal, but after this last update, I can no longer use this app offline. No one can get a signal inside of my AA building, so now I can't access this app in my AA Home Group. Loved this app, until recently.
It's a really great app and I love to wake up to it. After this recent upgrade, I can't access it offline though... That was one of the most appealing aspects of it. I don't have data and I don't have access to Wi-Fi everyday. It's still a great app, Just the minor detail is a bit bothersome. Anyway, I recommended it and I still will.
Love this app, however being able to access it offline was my favorite part.
Sobriety time doesn't work...I've tried everything and nothing works. Developer writes I should
App itself is nice, and useful. Would have been a perfect 5 stars... BUT audible ads are absolutely unacceptable!!! Sometimes people are shy/nervous to be in an AA meeting. They might feel alone and looking for acceptance. A blaring add drawing attention to them in a quiet meeting is terrible. It could damaging to thier self confidence and even to thier sobriety.
