FAQs:How to
- hide widget buttons: set their size to 0
- set transparent background for widget: When you set the background color you can press the lower right button and set the alpha value to 0 with the right slider.
- only show the scripture in the widget disable the comment and the date
- resize the widget http://bit.ly/1HmIGKr
- set a custom font download a .ttf file and save it at the local storage (e.g. from http://www.911fonts.com/) choose "custom font" in the font settings click "Choose a .ttf File" go to the .ttf File and click on it if everything went right you have a custom font now the app copied the file so you can delete it now (unfortunatly it isn't set for the widget and the notification due to Android)
What shall I do if
- the scripture and the comment don't match Try to update your language pack.

Developer has failed to keep this app working since 2017. Better just stick with the official "JW Library" app. I really miss this app though. The automatic popup helped me keep up to date, now I keep forgetting to read the daily text like I did before I found this gem of an app. I have yet to find another app that has a popup feature.
Jannes, please tell us in an Update message or a Developer note, or just in the description, why you won't update this app further. We're left confused since this has always been the best app out there to help us remember and follow through on reading the Daily Text. No other app is optimized like yours is. It seems you have a good reason, so please share it with us instead of leaving us in the dark.
Awesome App. It has really helped me keep up with the text which was a BIG problem for me. I also use it to text the days text to my bible students when one pertains to them. I hope all is well with our brother since there is no update for 2019 yet. I'll keep you in my prayers, you have been such a big help to my daily spiritual routine.
I've been using this app for two years now. I love the popup and widget features. There is no other daily text app like it. Only problem right now is that I am unable to access the 2019 text. Will that be available???
Have enjoyed using this app. Only one without adverts, so helps you focus on the scriptural thoughts. Sadly looks like no update for 2019 :-( Please can you tell us if it will be updated for 2019. Thank you for all your efforts.
It's awesome. Or better said it was cos from January 1 it's not updating again. Why? I like this daily text better cos it poops up and I can chose what colours I want. Why it's not updating again?

I loved this app because it would pop up on my phone and it was always a great reminder first thing in the morning. now with the new 2019 year its showing an error message. this is the only app that doesn't contain ads so I don't want to search for a new app. will the 2019 text be available? when I go to downloads I don't have the option for this years text.
