Daily Themed Crossword - A Fun crossword game

Crashing constantly! I like the game but lately it won't stay open long enough to play. Crashes, crashes, crashes. Fix the game! So it was fixed but now back to the same crashing! Still crashing! I used to live this games but now it's just a poorly designed game that has major problems - don't waste your time!

Loved this game initially, but no longer. I know the developers deserve to earn something, and that comes from ads., but they've simply become unreasonable. Ads are now after every round; quite tiresome when doing minis and competitions. So, after all these years, I'm going to finish the saved up minis and uninstall.

The main issue with this app is the ads. As you progress through different levels it seems there are more and more ads after each and every game. Sometimes there are two long ads in a row after completing just one level. It gets frustrating to be honest. It detracts from the enjoyment of the game. I'm not sure why the game designers decided to throw ad after ad into this game. After awhile you just become numb and pay no attention or you stop playing altogether because it's just simply annoying.

Lots of fun. Don't like the ads, but it's free so can't complain! **UPDATED REVIEW** I don't mind the ads, I bought coins to avoid them. The problem is that it bugs out half the time I try to play. The screen starts flashing and everything freezes. I'll close the app and reopen, and it'll keep happening over and over again. Once, I decided to unistall and reinstall the app, but not only did it not help the bugs, I lost all the coins I had paid for. Fix the bugs! Update the app please!

Love the game and don't mind the ads as it is a free game but some of the ads are way bigger than intended so there is no way to click out of the ad once it's finished. It only shows the middle portion of the ad on my screen, as if someone zoomed in. I have to keep closing the game and reopening it to play another puzzle. Fix this and I'll change my rating.

I decided to try it. Actually, I'm pretty disappointed. The puzzles are extremely easy, but that isn't the problem. The user interface in this game is a mess. It is putting my letters all over the board so I have to stop and fix things all the time. I'm doing a word across in the next thing I know 2 of my letters are going downward for absolutely no reason. Gets old really quickly. Also, just too many pop-ups! Ads and interruptions are impossible and make playing a chore. Uninstalling!

Very little rewards and the ads to get a clue or to play further are absurd. Having ads for up to 60 seconds is getting a joke. The puzzles themselves are good except for constant American questions, particularly their sports or tv hosts. I'm Australian so I need to watch the stupid ads to finish a puzzle to move onto the next puzzle. I'm deleting the app altogether. There's too much time wasted on ads

The crosswords are fun and quite challenging. There's a pretty good selection as well. Only complaint is that coins are hard to get. One ad gives you 5 coins and I need 20 to show any errors? No thanks. Other than that it's perfect.

This is a very fun and addictive app! The puzzles are very challenging but some are somewhat easy! There's so much of a variety and different challenges to do every day! I would highly recommend this game app to any and every one! Oh yeah, there are ads so you can get hints as well as bonus words that ads letters to the puzzles to help you solve them better and quicker 😉 😀!

Until recently loved game. Until I switched phones. There should be an easier way to sync THAT WORKS. On my old phone I was connected via FB and now when I download app on new phone and log in via FB NONE of my progress is synced. Getting help for the issue has been impossible as the responses I get do not work and now no one is even responding to my help tickets or emails.

It's a pretty good crossword app. But there is a bit too much going on with each screen, too many options and graphics on each screen, that I find makes the app needlessly "cluttery", and frankly kind of annoying. But the puzzles themselves are enjoyable enough to keep me playing.

This app is more like an app of ads that also lets you do some crossword puzzles. Every page, plus long video ads between games, make playing cumbersome and not very relaxing. Getting rid of the plague of ads costs $8 PER MONTH (Yikes! That's not gonna happen!) . While the puzzles themselves are fun and accessible for most players, the commercial-ridden environment has led me to delete this app and look for an alternative.

I play everyday! I love DTC! However, sometimes I can't go back to the game after ads. I have to close the app & re-open it. I recognize some of them & close when I see them. I don't mind the ads, but it's frustrating when this happens; especially on extra letter hints & playing the new games that you offer. Thank you so much for this game!

The game was updated recently. Since this update some ads never end, so I have to restart the game. Some ads when they end and I push the X take me into the play store to download a game I don't want. Last year this was good, but now its getting annoying. One example that won't let me out of the ad is Monopoly

Freezing and stopping constantly. The clock on the puzzle keeps ticking away but it won't allow you to place in any letters. Here's a new problem. Wordsmith shows tickets available but DOES NOT ADD YOUR TOTALS TO YOUR SCORE AND DEDUCTS COINS INSTEAD OF TICKETS.

This is hands down, the BEST crossword puzzle app you can ask for, and you get a variety of several of different types word games as well...and...sit down, it's fricken' FREE!!! Addictive and attentional, don't even bother to search because you will waste ALOT time comparing hundreds of crossword games that are SO similar, the only difference seems to be the designs on the back of the cards...why get one puzzle daily when you can get oh so much more....

Was fun for a little while. Then you realize they recycle a lot of the same words and clues. Lots of ads but that seems to be the thing with free apps..I can get over that. But the they are STINGY when it comes to coins. You work hard to get through 15 puzzles just to get a measly 2 or 3 coins but the stuff you spend it on cost 10 to 20 coins. Wish there was more opportunity to get coins like getting at least one for every puzzle you solve? 🙄 It gets old quick and prizes aren't worth much.

This game will ad you to oblivion and fool you with a false x to take you to a download screen. The ads consume more of your battery than actually solving the puzzles. On many of the ads you're forced to watch then have to wait another 5 seconds before you can return to play.

Pretty good except it pops up asking to use hints if you don't know one or two right away. Clearly they don't understand how crossword puzzles work. Not sure why they can't let you work the across and down clues. The hint buttons are very visible, so the pop ups only cause problems

I like the puzzles and the game over all but you have to buy almost everything with this game. Even the archived puzzles require coins AND any achievement is rewarded with minimal coins (1, 2, or 3 most often). Then you have to buy games with 10 coins.

Buggy as hell recently. App crashes itself because of ads. Either freezes phone entirely or black screens the app for a while. Have to use android to kill the app. Ads have also become a lot more frequent and longer.

I really like the gameplay ALOT! The only thing I dislike is how quickly the coins deplete, that's just because I need the show wrong letters at times. Just a great game to keep your mind sharp.

I have been playing for several years and when I could not watch ads for coins and went to help center to read that your ad company was no longer and needed an update in which I could not. I read reviews(mostly negetive) and I will play until my coins run out and find another app. I have no problem watching ads but agree some are to lenghty when I could watch. You also give the same robotic reason for solutions for various issues.

I liked the game well enough to pay to get the ads removed. Every single game gave a pop up telling to use the hint feature which was annoying,but I could immediately close the pop up it wasn't horrible. However when I switched phones I lost my lifetime purchase and it isn't worth paying for again.

Pretty good, but a little confusing to navigate. It appears to be a combo of several different games in one app? Idk, but the screen progressions are a little confusing as to what is happening. I really just wanted a crossword game and it keeps directing me to other mini games.

Would be fun but constantly freezes, every button press is delayed and laggy. Also crashes every time it forces an advert on you. Lowered review to 1 star as they have now updated the app to make it impossible to leave a forced advert, as they have cropped the close button off screen so you're just forced to stare at a finished ad. The only way to leave is to force close the app.

I'm torn about this game. I love the game. My biggest problem is the ads. Don't get me wrong, I expect ads in a free game. But, lately the creators have reduced the size of the "X" to close the ad. This causes REPEATED attempts to close, most of them actually opening the ad. It's frustrating and time wasting.

Used to love this game but since the addition of the mini games I've had to skip any chance of completing the daily challenges that include the mini games, I didn't download this game for the mini games, I hate them and the tiny amount of time to complete them. Don't bother with this game now it's no longer about crosswords.
