Do I have to link my TSP account?
Daily TSP DOES NOT REQUIRE you to link your TSP account in order to use the app. There is tons of data and capability that is available to all users to help track/analyze the TSP funds without linking. Further, users can even perform manual account balance entries if they prefer and still want a way to track their TSP account balance. Linking your account serves as a convenient and secure means of tracking your TSP account, but is entirely OPTIONAL within Daily TSP.
Is Daily TSP secure?
Daily TSP takes security very seriously and therefore abides by the latest security standards and protocols. Further, Daily TSP also allows for a four-digit pin code or biometric authentication (face unlock/fingerprint) to be required each time the app is opened for enhanced security - optional feature. Linked account credentials for fetching your TSP account data are stored DIRECTLY on your phone using its secure storage protocol.
How does Daily TSP store app data?
100% of all personal user data generated in Daily TSP is stored directly on your phone's storage and is NEVER shared with any cloud services or stored anywhere on the cloud. This means that you and only you can see and access the data within Daily TSP.

This app is still with the investment. As anyone using the TSP website understands, it is cumbersome. Daily TSP downloads all of your TSP information when you connect to avoid the need to login to check the status of your account. The daily fund values are readily available (without login) so Daily TSP simply performs the calculations locally on your device.
Pretty average for a fairly expensive pro version. App is great for monitoring daily fund prices, however it does a poor job managing multiple accounts. Several times it will duplicate the account balance as opposed to loading them individually. The only remedy I have found is to delete and re add accounts, not a quick process.
Everything You Need To Know at hand. Provides immediate access to account. Information allows me to make timely decisions and manage account. Not at a lost for I formation. Easy to navigate.

Very weird layout. You can track only one account; they want to charge $ 19.99 for simple funtcions!!! This one is a miss.
This is a pretty cool app..I know of no other TSP app that has such a solid handshake with the Federal TSP web site...this app brings all the data from each fund and adds a few tablespoons of expert features that any savvy TSP account holder should have...with this apps plethora of technicals, one can make informed moves that can keep you out of harm's way and on to higher profits. Bet on it...
Excellent very secure app. This is app has very user friendly charts, percentages and graphs. Very fast personalized email response. There are also multi level security features. I'm very comfortable using this. It's totally worth it to pay for the upgraded version. I keep discovering something new all the time. I'd rate this A+ for sure!!
The developers provide excellent customer service, as in responding within minutes on a weekend! While the free version of this app is excellent since they have no ads, the pro version is well worth the upgrade. They only charge a one time fee for a lifetime of upgrades and you get a lot of great tools and the ability to download your entire TSP history.
I installed the app today & was so impressed w/the free version, I opted to pay the one time fee for the Pro version. It's relatively easy to use, informative, organized, and an all around great app. A driving factor for me to install was viewing the ratings & the customer service response to the lower stars. Every one had a response and indicator of continued contact efforts. Also, heard that app developers are TSP holders too so they have a vested interest in more ways than one.
I was told about this app by a coworker and was VERY impressed. I love the depth and customization abilities of the app. I have been looking for something to be able to monitor my TSP better, and this is it. I appreciate the fact that the pro version is a one time cost rather than a subscription, I purchased it right away after seeing the features of the free version....kudos to the Devs.
This app is great! I was totally bummed when the TSP tracker I used ceased operating, but I'm so lucky that I found this one. I installed it, and within 5 minutes, I was up and running. I had a question about editing info and sent a question to customer support. Within 10 minutes I had a response. Wow! Very impressive! I purchased the Pro edition for an extra $15 (one-time fee) just because it is worth supporting the app developers.
This app just became pretty useless unless you are a paying subscriber for the pro version. For what is a government program for military to be so greedy is just sadness. Well good thing u don't put much value I to this app because I will not be upgrading. Might even just delete it and log into my actual TSP account all the time!!!!
Developers respond to issues quickly. This app is wonderful for federal employees looking for an easy way to keep up with their retirement plan. After using the free version for several months, I upgraded an have not regretted it.
Nothing gives me better insight and planning on my retirement! I used the free version for months and it was an easy decision to drop a few bucks to support this app development and get added premium features. I can see where my money is going, if and when I should move to different funds, and set myself up for a successful retirement. There is nothing comparable to this software. I highly recommend it.
Love this app. Great way to see what your TSP account is doing in *real* time... Had an issue with my payroll not making my TSP deposit, Daily TSP is how I realized the payroll error. Response to any issue with the app is swift and quickly resolved.

Nice! Stumbled across this app while searching for another TSP app (which i never found). The layout is great! Easy to keep up to date on funds. Really like the various charts and goal features. Still playing with it. Bought the Pro version just because I love the app. The data available is so much better than what is on the tsp website. Thank you!
Great app with loads of features and valuable information.
Please add S&P, NASDAQ, Russell 1000/2000 and Bloomberg or Barclay's US Bond performance for comparison to respective funds. If people are paying for this app, they should be more comprehensive. Currently, I find myself flipping back and forth. While it is true, the app currently displays benchmarks tracked by TSP, the app fails to show how the broader market is performing that day. Without context the current benchmarks mean far less.
The reviews you see about fast response are true. I submitted a question and had a response within an hour. The directions they provided were easy to follow and updated my account correctly the first time. This app and it's team are a must if you want to closely follow your TSP!

A really handy tool until the last update. You use to be able to see historical data on graphs but now you can't. I can get daily market data from many sources, it's the historical data I was interested in. Update: After app developer's response, I followed their instructions and it works now! Great app and great customer service!
Edit: Needed assistance once again. I'm impressed how fast they respond with assistance correcting the issue I created. Original review:Great app to assist in TSP goal and tracking. Shows lots of data...live, Daily, weekly, monthly, 6 months, yearly etc. Graphs are easy to read and comprehend even if new to financial planning. The app is free, but well worth the price for pro. Need assistance when I got a new phone, they were quick to answer and assist in getting my pro account updated to phone.
TSP coming out with an official TSP app next month (June 2022). I wonder will that render this app obsolete.
A MUST HAVE for any TSPer. Absolutely LOVE the features: easy-to-understand layout, spreadsheets & graphs, THE ON-SCREEN TOOL-TIPS, explanation of each fund and it's breakdown (much better than TSP's own website), FUND ALERTS, the HISTORICAL DATA, ability to LINK ONE'S ACCOUNT, the ability to CREATE CUSTOM FUNDS, and most of all: the CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!! It's obvious this was created by people who have TSP themselves and love to well-steward their app creation. SOOO WORTH The Paid Version!!!
Worth it, really! The original versions were just ok. They have really done a good job building the app. The pro version is worth the money. I used to make my fund decisions based on quarterly statements. The tracking and trends has helped me make more informed decisions. I have definitely made more more from using this app.
This app is absolutely amazing. Logging into TSP can be tedious and very difficult. This app allows you to see your account on a daily basis. The simplicity with which you can identify growth or losses makes it easy to determine which fund to allocate toward. I highly recommend this app.
Absolutely critical to for tracking and analyzing your TSP account. But I am even more impressed with the immediate professional assistance I received after reposting a minor problem with a new release of the app. Outstanding!
