This game is a nice change from other pattern games, being that it has lovely music. however, even after buying the "ad free" experience, they hinder you with more ads you cannot avoid as well as making it to where, when you die and restart from the checkpoint, you're off from the beat of the music, which is horrible when you can't see the place you're supposed to hit. it's fun, but it's even more aggravating and not worth trying to enjoy the songs.
Great game. It's pretty, has great music, and is fun to play. The ads used to be non-intrusive, now you only have to die about two times before an unskippable 20 second ad plays, or a 30 second ad that can skipped once you watch 10 seconds. Also, some of the newer levels can only be bought through real money, which is really infuriating, especially with the ad increase. Without these problems, my review would've been 5 stars.
I used to like this game a lot. Super simple, fun to play, and had beautiful music. I had to get rid of it a while back cause of school and decided to reinstall. It's great that the app has grown and has added more levels..I may not like the songs anymore but it shows growth I guess. What I hate the most though is the amount of ads, of course there were ads before but they didn't pop up every time you lost. And even if you don't deal with spontaneous ads the game is giving pop ups to watch ads. You had a great app once. Not anymore.
I think dancing line is one of the best games I've seen. It is super simple but the graphics are amazing. It can be challenging but the controlls are super easy to use. I don't understand why people keep on saying they get spammed with adverts because I only get an advert 1 time per 3 levels, there are bearly any adds! This game is an art piece! There are no problems with it in my view. So if someone is thinking about dowloading dancing line. DO IT! You clearly won't regret it ( Well if you have a good temper. It takes some practise and then this game is the best thing on the planet ! ) There are lots of updates and its great!
I love this game. The levels are so unique and the songs are amazing! It is quite hard at first (and later on too), but definitely worth it. I rated this 5 stars at first, but returning to the game after a few months, there are some changes. I love the new style and features of the game, but there are at least 10x too many ads. Every other time I die I am bombarded with yet another pop-up ad. Not only are the ads annoying, but they're lagging my phone. Fix the ad issue and I'll change back to ⭐5
Despite being a rhythm game, this game is entirely visual. It doesn't matter how good your reaction time is or how in sync with the music you are, the beat indicators are slightly off from the music, making this game incredibly frustrating to play. You're better off turning down the volume and playing this game based off its visuals but at that point you're better off just getting a better rhythm game. The settings and some of the music are quite nice, but good graphics and music doesn't make up for bad mechanics.
Okay, first thing, The cues in some of the songs can be rather off time sometimes. Next off, this game can also be very laggy. If you are going to make a rhythm game, PLEASE reduce lag as much as possible. Last thing, some of the levels have the block at the front of the line leap sometimes, and it has what seems to be a random chance of surviving when landing. RANDOM CHANCE. Out of all this mess, the only thing I enjoyed here was the music, which is why I'll leave two stars here instead of one.
The game itself is fine, although there is some lag. The main issue is the ads. Every time you lose on a course, an ad appears, sometimes for 30 seconds. Although this wouldn't be as much of a bother if it happened 3 times or so, but it happens EVERY time. Basic ads an in-app purchases are fine, but there are just too many ads for this game to playable.
Good soundtrack that even has my favorite song. However, the lines and music are slightly out of sync, so it is pretty tough to actually complete a level with your eyes closed, as the developers claim you can. Also, sometimes my taps aren't registered and nothing happens when I tap, causing me to suddenly lose the level. It occasionally lags as well. Additionally, sometimes I complete a level but the next level doesn't unlock. Please fix these things. Until then, I leave two stars.
There's a bug where if youre in the middle of playing a level or if you are just about to start a level and an ad comes on, it will remove the animation (this happens sometimes, but it basically does the No Animation Glitch) I'll give it five stars when it's fixed. Also, you said that The Faded Original is gone forever, but you can just ask Alan Walker permission to use the instrumental ver of Faded and re-add the level. But I still love this game, it's just not what it used to be.
Hey- the control in the Faded are always so wonky, it sometimes doesn't sense it when I touch the screen. I know it's not my phone's problem because there is not problem in terms of control in other levels. Please try to change it a bit? It's the only thing stopping me from completing the level. Also, please work on the "matches" instead of adding new levels. It's been "coming soon" for so long yet you just keep adding new levels. Also, adding all those Alan Walker levels really just contradict the "original music" thing in your description. I liked the actual original ones more. All in all its a great concept and a great game. My biggest concern is the release of the "match"
it's awesome. although it does lag for some reason for me. I don't know if this is just me. it probably is but also the music doesn't have complete sync with the levels. you can't close your eyes and tap to the beat, you will die. but I don't really care. although it would be awesome if that got fixed. I definitely 100% think you should download it, I don't have issues with the ads like maybe 1 or 2 will pop up in like 20 minutes. kind of wrote the declaration of independence lol. GoodLuck.
Dancing Line is a beautiful game, comparable to ones such as Monument Valley. It has stunning graphics and butter smooth controls. I enjoyed it very much, and the truly creative level design and immersive scenes only fuelled my curiosity. The fact that this game is free of charge is also a big bonus, though I'd be happy to pay a little for an ad-free experience and all levels unlocked. Having a free game, but with several levels demanding payment, is somewhat off-putting. However, this does not faze my overall opinion of this game, and I am still a fan of the detailed, minimalistic graphics and lively music.
I LOVE the concept of the game. Graphics, music and controls are absolutely beautiful and perfect, and I have no lag at all. However, there are WAY too many ads. I spend about 40% of my time watching the same ad over and over again. Also, the new levels are getting worse and worse. There's no definite storyline anymore, and very little detail. The older levels are so much better. In some levels, it looks almost 2D. Also, the beat doesn't always match the tapping. Going really downhill..
It is a very fun game and it helps work out the brain with music rhythms and such. But since it came out, the game has been more ad hungry and I cannot click anywhere without an ad popping up and redirecting me. Also, songs that I had earned in the past were all of a sudden locked and I had to purchase them with real money. Ridiculous. Wish I could keep it, but not worth it anymore. All that work down the drain.
It is a good game, when you get to play it. I have seen more adds then gameplay, and the adds end up being over 30 seconds. Not only that, to get more lives, levels, play, select modes, and even log in, you need to watch an add. Sometimes, it will play and add for no reason! The levels are great and so is the game, but I rate the game play low because it is non existent without adds.
It's annoying that there are ads almost after every gameplay. And before you can turn them off, you must wait 10 seconds. There is no such an inconvenience in Piano Tiles, for example. Ads appear rarely and we can turn them off right away. Plus, in Dancing Line, there is still a problem with loading the videos, sometimes I can't get a bonus or double prizes because the video can't load.
This game is absolutely beautiful. There are all types of music such as hip hop, color, dance, blues, house, reggae, rock, instrumental, dubstep. None of them make me want to close app completely. There is some occasional lag that causes control problems, and that there are too many ads. Besides all that, you have a game that is equivalent to music perfection. Cheetahmobile and Boombit, I hope you guys make a Dancing Line 2 sometime in the future.
Dancing Line is an amazing game, the only music game that is creative and has its own unique style. The music and levels are fantastic and each level has its own difficulty and style, the only problem I have is that there are a lot of ads. Everytime you lose an ad pops up, before it was only like every 2 to 5 times you lose you get ad. I understand you have to make money I understand but oh my gosh I wish there werent ads all the time left and right. Anyways, ads out of the way. I recommend this
I remember when this came out with only the original levels. That was the best time, I think that the game was much better when you didn't have to pay for every level. Granted, the more special levels should be priced but not the basics. As well as for some reason, as of late the music on some of the levels has been RIDICULOUSLY out of time with the level itself. The heart checkpoints? They are very annoyingly placed. Please sort these out because I think overall the game would be much better.
I've been playing this since first version. Many things have been changed since then, but I love the old version, not this! there was only 7 levels (I guess),but sweet as they were difficult enough.Only checkpoints were "Crown" points, and musics were GREAT! Now, it is turned to huge library of different types of music, which some of them are not really good.
It's a very beautiful game. It has awesome map levels all specially crafted in their own design. And the rhythms, ebbs and flows of the all the songs run wonderful. However, this app is infested with bothersome ads that take up much of your time and makes the gaming experience a bit tedious to say the least. The levels can also be quite challenging whenever you're playing so overall it takes much time to get used to the app itself.
Changed a lot since I first downloaded. The music and art are excellent, however, you can never actually purchase the game. You "buy" (for like 6$) to remove ads and still get ads because they are literally incorporated into every thing. Want to double your rewards? Ad. Want to preview this level? Ad. Want to continue playing? Ad. Seriously it's ridiculous and unfortunately since it only happened only once it had become popular.
I used to play this game a ton. I later deleted the game, as it was near impossible to play with the amount of lag. I came back to see if imprpvements have been made to take care of the lag, but I feel like the ads are now a prevelant problem. They're almost suffocating in frequency. While I was expecting ads [that's how they make a lot of their money, afterall], they appear every few seconds. From what I can tell, the older songs are well made and fun to play. Uninstalled.
This game was great a time long gone. The more I play it now it feels like the auto sync has been messed up and I can no longer play it. The beats are to early sometimes but to late other times and it happens on the same map. All and all it is a great game, there are alot of ads, but at least for me it never bothered me. The grinding for levels never bothered me, or paying for others. However, the auto sync issue has turned me away from the game all together.😔
The game is really cool. You basically play through really powerful songs and it's pretty addictive and satisfying. Sadly not as satisfying as it looked in the ads however... The ads for the game that I saw showed that your moves went completely in tune with the song levels. That is not the case. You can go in any direction and it won't affect the beat of the song. Which sounds more satisfying to play in theory, the song will sound as powerful as ever even, but in reality it creates confusion when missing turns. In addition it doesn't make your taps as satisfying when you are supposedly pushing and pulling the tunes and sways of a song. An added difficulty to the game is the lag and not being able to make heads or tails as to what notes and turns are coming up. The lag is due to all the ads on the game, which are kind of annoying, but what upsets me the most is falling or hitting a wall because of the game's terrible direction. Don't get me wrong, the songs are beautiful and they are nice to play through, but it's impossible to enjoy myself and to get into the songs with all these flaws... I would give this app a higher review, but it's so disheartening and displeasing to play the game given all my reasons above.
