Dark Stories
Dark Stories is an easy to play and fun game but some of the stories are quite difficult. To solve them, the players will need to prove their skills as detectives.
HOW TO PLAYDark Stories must be played in group. A person -chosen as narrator
- picks a mystery and reads its description aloud.Then he/she reads its solution without telling the other people. The rest of the players then have to make questions in order to solve the mystery.
The narrator can only answer the questions using "Yes", "No" or "It is not relevant". The only possible solution is the one given at the back of each mystery card. If the answer is still not clear enough, the players must follow the narrator's interpretation of the mystery.
EXAMPLEA typical fragment of a gameplay could be:
Player1: "Did he die because of the shot?"Narrator:"No"Player2: "Was he poisoned?"Narrator: "No"Player3: "Did he have children?"Narrator: "It's not relevant"Player1: "Are there other people in the story?"Narrator: "No"Player2: "Did he commit suicide?"Narrator: "Yes"...
END OF THE GAMEWhen the narrator considers that the story has been solved enough, the narrator can conclude the game and read the whole solution.
It is up to the narrator to give some clues if the story is in a deadlock.

It only took me a few solutions to finally realize that this app is REALLY DARK, not dark enough to get reported though, really hard riddles, really fun to play with friends! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's good, but I don't hear the music that used to play, I really liked it
I overall liked the game, though it has it's flaws. Especially the questions, it is supposed to be a question-answer kind of game but it takes a lot of getting used to since most questions (stand-alone) are far-fetched and the players have to know which questions to ask, it is nearly necessary to provide hints. Though for a free game, it's way more than you can ask for, especially with free keys stuff. I think the game can be improved on by new questions submitted by the players.
Fantastic app, I love lateral thinking puzzles like this. I mostly use the app when I'm in the car with a friend and we'll take turns giving each other riddles. It's a shame a bunch of people have left a bad review when they don't understand the point of the game. It's kind of like 20 questions but there is no limit on questions and your trying to figure out the solution to the scenario given. Anyway I just wanted to say that it's a great app and from what I've seen the only one like it.
I've already made this review. I can't manage to purchase the full version so that I can skip the time between ads to get some keys. I have spent all of my keys and then attempted to try buying it again, but now I don't even get the option to purchase it. Please help me with this and when I get to unlock the full game I will give it 5 stars.
It is an excellent game to play with your friends. But when I opened the app today it didn't load any stories. It's only showing a grey screen. I've tried reinstalling the app but still not working! No there is no error message. It shows all the story folders but only a blank screen comes up when I click on them
I really like this app. + It's just like the black story's card games but in app format. + Really easy to play with some friends where ever you are, and have some quick fun. - But I must say that some story's are a bit strange and unreal.
The solutions felt way too farfetched and specific. It's quite hard to ever get any of these because the solutions don't have anything to do with riddles or puns or popular references that one can find in dark humour tropes. The app seems functional and the interface is fine, just that the content falls short.
I like this because of the art and how easy it is to use. The stories have great variety. My only problem is that it takes a bit too long to get a key (an hour since it always fails to show ads). One hour for a key for one story? Three keys would be fine.
The game is good. Not bad, not great. I feel as if 8 or 9 out of every 10 stories are too vague to actually be able to guess the answer. I think they are fun to play and I had fun with them. I say had because you only have so many stories to choose from and if you want the rest then you have to pay money. You have 3 keys which you can use to play 3 of any story of your choice. After that you have to pay up. Like the amount of keys you're given, the game is worthy of 3 stars.
Have used this app for a very long time. Suddenly most of the stories are locked even if I have seen them before. It used to only be a few that were locked so it's pretty dumb that some that I've read and solved are locked now. Edit: I've switched the device a few months back, but i remembered that all stories were unlocked except the last few chapters. I think I had this app since 2017 and saw a video abt this app on YT. The tales it tells us are way too vague and when the solutions are given- it has lots of information we weren't told of. The game concept is pretty cool. Don't get me wrong, would've loved it if it wasn't too vague.
You have to extrapolate so many details out of thin air just to come up with your vague answer to the riddle that the game produces. Only to find out that the game has produced an even more extravagant tale that makes less sense than the ones you come up with the majority of the time. It is incredibly frustrating playing this and more often than not you will find yourself saying "I liked my ending better."

Stories were interesting but not really puzzles since they include various random solutions... (Ex man owns a car, another man crashes it. Man #1 is not upset) there would be no way that you would figure out from those words alone that they made a bet and the guy driving lost that bet.. Not really any logic to it but fun time spender I suppose

The game was honestly pretty boring and the solutions barely made sense since the stories were so vauge. At least the pictures were nice?(note: i was in a group. We were all pretty confused by the app))
We fell in love with this game, played it at the beach, on the balcony, inside, at lunch and on the way home. We never gave up, even if it took us over 40 mins to solve one! You should enjoy puzzles and lateral thinking
These solutions are actually ridiculous and there's nowhere near enough details in the question to guess the solution
awesome collection of stories! the graphic of this app is absolutely amazing, easy and detailed menu, what do I want more? excellent way to train the 360° thinking process for those who weren't waiting in line for the restroom during the brains distribution .... One suggestion: change the app name in "Pearls to swines" . Fits better the "critical reviews" users, (I had a trip in the scariest Dunning-Kruger Dungeon in reading some...) and their complaining about the LATERAL THINKING...
The idea and layout of the app is amazing, which I am totally happy about. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because there are multiple solutions to some riddles, or the solution consists something that doesn't even get mentioned or doesn't have anything in common with the story. If you could make the riddles more specific, so you can get the answer that is given rather than another one which might still be a reasonable solution, I will automatically give you 5 stars!
