Darkest Companion

This was literally perfect for what I was looking for in my jump back into the game. Used to just flip through internet tabs for each dungeon but now, no need! The ads are not even that intrusive and easily ignored, so I basically just paid the $2 as my thanks for the app and to support the devs. Let's hope to see one for the sequel at some point!

Really handy to have, especially as a new player with a bad memory who has trouble memorizing the different aspects of each dungeon. The UI is a little rough (seems cramped?) but it's functional enough and that's what matters. Only weird thing I noticed is Torches being oddly absent from the recommended provisions loadout for various areas. So don't forget your torches, fools!

Great app and as far as I can tell. It's the only one like it. Perfect for looking up info about specific things you come across while adventuring, boss strategies, or really just about anything you might want to know. Granted it's not a perfect solution for everything, but it's a great start. Could use a search function though. Honestly that's the only real downside to this thing.

Really intuitive and easy to use, but it is missing certain vital statistics that i wish were available being able to directly see a bosses stats and type laid out in a table would vastly improve the app imo. Great as a guide for beginners, but could be made into a better companion for seasoned players Edit(response): no, you can see a boss strategy guide by pressing their name, useful, for sure, but i would also love to see their actual stats, such as on the gamepedia darkest dungeon wiki.

it's pretty basic, and could be a lot better. hopefully it will improve over time. With that said, this app is useful for looking up the stats of bosses and mobs as well as recommended supplies & skills to take on each adventure. I check it before every quest.

Great for setting up a run and checking out what curios are safe. The hints are good too. Does exactly what it advertises and does it well. You can even tap on enemies and bosses to get a view of what you'll be up against beforehand. Can't recommend enough.

Very useful, simple to understand and very helpful. Especially when first playing. My only complaint is the creatures and bosses don't have a corasponding picture along side their description. It's a very minor complaint and not really necessary to have a picture of bosses and creatures, just something I'd like to see added.

I really appreciate this app, it's very useful, but its definitely missing some information, most prominently it doesn't say anything about the darkest dungeon itself, no guide or anything about it, furthermore there a definitely a few bosses missing

A great app that is missing one important bit of information: Afflictions! Everything else you need to know for a dungeon crawl is there but there isn't a section that covers afflictions or virtues caused by excessive stress. Still a 5/5 app but I do hope this is introduced in a future revision.

As a beginner and intermediate level player it has been very helpful and has enhanced my gaming experience considerably. Before using it I was inappropriately prepared for dungeon crawling, making it difficult to earn treasures and interact with curios. "DC; don't leave your Estate without it!"

Good, handy tool. Only thing I would say against it is it doesn't give a recommended amount on how many torches to take on some runs, but as people prefer different light level, its not a huge issue. Again, great app, definitely would recommend it for anyone playing the game

Fantastic app. I just started playing and the guides help a lot when it comes to inventory management, boss strategies, curio definitions, and party selection. Very highly recommend this app for anyone having difficulty in the game.

Very helpful. Feels as though the item allocations are a little low, it sort of tells you what you'll need for interactions but I would bring more say, bandages for actually bandaging characters. Light and simple. CC maps would be nice.

Excellent guide for Darkest Dungeon. You select the area, difficulty and length of whatever quest you're embarking on and this app tells you what supplies you'd need and describes the abilities your heroes will need. Very good app. I paid for the ad-free version without hesitation.

This app is very useful. It has pretty much all the essential basics. Villain pictures like with the curios would be a good addition, as would some team build advice. Overall though it gets used every game and is right on the money. 😃

It's very good. The details and recommendations are well thought out and pretty accurate. It would like to see if they could include recommendations for party composition for each area (beyond those whose skill set are most effective at a certain place)

This app has definitely helped me a lot when I first started playing Darkest Dungeon. It shows what provisions to take, what kind of monsters and curios will show up, strengths and weaknesses of monsters, etc. Overall a great and simple helper.

Very useful for Curio interactions and quick tips for boss weaknesses. I don't rate apps much but Darkest Dungeon is great and so is this app. I wish there were a quicker way to parse through curios though. Perhaps a multi tile gallery where we could click on the Curio to find interactions instead of having to scroll through a single file line?

I gave this app the 2 bucks, not to remove ads but because how good it was and my experience using it with darkest dungeon. Normal I'd look up on the wiki "shallow grave" and spend 40 second but it's 2 seconds and is a great tool to remember with.

It runs smoothly and is a big help. I don't think it can predict the out come of your game. But it gives you a good run down on the items you will need and the enemies to look out for. I use it all the time during game play

This app is pretty much all you need when playing this game. It shows you what you might need for the journey ahead plus what encounters there are. It also shows hou what items interact with curios and shines. This isnt a must have app, but itll definitely save some lives.

Great for beginners and veterans alike. Darkest Dungeon is hard enough without you forgetting to bring things. Suggestions made by the app try to let you use all curios on an expedition, though you can forgoe some if your coffers are empty.

Almost exactly what I was looking for. Good to have out while playing. Only missing information on heroes and their abilities and maybe a roster builder. Otherwise great. Nearly perfect.
