Darkmoor Manor Free

Very relaxing, while engaging. It was atmospheric, without jump scares. Fortunately, I always tend to read the complete story lines, and this time it paid off with a useful clue! This is my second escape game,my shadow is still lost in the first game and that was a year ago. Played the free game and am definitely buying the complete game. Thanks for a nice stress-free enjoyable afternoon. Will be exploring your other games.

One of the first point and click adventure games I ever played and I still love it. If you like exploring a once grand, but now decaying, old Gothic/Victorian Mansions, you'll love it. The haunting, melancholy background music adds to the creepy, but beautiful atmosphere. I enjoyed reading the journal entries-it made this almost feel like a walk through graphic novel. Since this is an old game, don't expect a lot of 'bells and whistles' like skip features, cut scenes, fast travel maps etc...

Overall frustrating, though atmospheric and individual puzzles are good. So is the artwork, but full of things that look tappable but aren't. The ending left me feeling there was unfinished business. Too much hinted at that I wanted to go back to. I assume the bucket is intended as a joke - but what about the photo of the base of the tree? And I agree with everyone else that hints should be free, or at least a heck of a lot cheaper. I probably won't pay for another game from this developer.

First of all the "free" version isn't really free! It gives you like 5 hints and then you have to pay .99 cents for every 5 hints after that! Second there's no complete story line that tells the full story of what the mystery of the manor is so when you finally escape that's it! It cuts off into a cutscene with no explanation or understanding of why you end up there. So you never learn the complete truth about the manor! And to think I was dumb enough to buy the full version which is identical!

I liked this game, but it felt too short. The wrap up at the end felt lazy and rushed. Why is there a second bucket in the tunnel to the church? I didn't expect the game to end shortly after that, and I still had the bucket. I started the game over, for my own curiosity, and that bucket is useless. I also noticed that the clue you get with the telescope is useless as well, since you have to solve that puzzle before you can get that clue.

I really like this game. it's fun to play, it has challenging puzzles. there are, however a few things to mention: there are only a certain number of hints available, and they do not replenish themselves as with other games of this kind. Also there is one thing that bothers me a bit. You cannot zoom in on puzzles in order to see the detail in order to solve the puzzle. I have to take a screenshot in order to zoom in on my phone. I'm not sure if the paid version is better. overall good game!

Decent, if a bit short for a free play. Approachable puzzles (with a few annoying cliffhangers that I guess you can resolve in the full game), no particular need for hints, decent story beginning. It was a bit odd that the missing element seen through the keyhole wasn't remarked upon. Not compelling enough for me to buy, but the price seemed reasonable, if it's only $0.99 full the full game.

A nice Escape style adventure, very well made & good looking scenes although not difficult. Story is not too original TBH, but at least there is one, and it unfolds as pages from a diary that you find along the way. However, it is disappointing that the game is only free to try & you must pay for the full game after ~5-6 scenes! It would have been honest to at least indicate clearly in the description! So rating only 3⭐, sorry.

If it's advertised as free I don't expect to pay after just a few minutes but I paid $1 cause I enjoyed the graphic and the atmosphere of the game. My biggest disappointment was the game I too easy and way too short. I finished the game in two days without a hint. It's shame as with more effort, this could be an awesome game.

I was actually liking the game, but after a few minutes playing, I realised it is NOT FREE!! If I had longer to play, like normal free demos, then I might have payed to continue, but not after such a very short time and not being made aware of this before I started to play, annoyed me even more!! I'm not impressed, so deleting!! 😠

I love atmospheric puzzle games and this is exactly what I look for. Creepy setting, dark music, excellent sound design. For $0.99 I feel the enjoyment I got out of the story was well worth it. The only thing I'm left wanting is more! Looking forward to other games from this developer!

Offline escape game, you can play for about half an hour for free then it is your choice to pay to continue which in my opinion is worth it. Great graphics& sounds, story style, interactive environment giving the impact of reality. Well done for the developers.

It was a decent story, nothing eye popping but entertaining none the less. The artwork was great day the controls were simple and functional. It was worth the .99 cents I think and would definitely recommend.

i gave it 2 bcus i am very dissapointed about how this game is advertized as "FREE" but yet somewhat thru the game, it stops to charge me 1$ and some change PLUS tax, just to continue the game and get the full version!! Thats a complete dissapointment! Other than that......its perfectly fine.

Don't waste you're time downloading the app cause you only play one level and then you have to pay to play. It's a shame it's a good game graphics, interaction, puzzles excellent.

Beautiful artwork helps to create the right atmosphere for this spooky adventure. But as happens so often with this type of game, some obscure clues mean long periods of boredom and frustration as you wander repeatedly around the same territory looking to reveal something that will allow you to make progress.

It's ok for a demo (which maybe could have been mentioned a tad more clearly), but definitely too short. As others have noticed, not pointing out the missing item seen through the keyhole is definitely odd.

Very good point and click adventure. Great graphics. Puzzles and clues range from fairly simple to difficult. All in all, a lot of fun and I'll be looking for more adventures from these folks.

It's a pretty good game. Facility 47 is WAY better. Im a little confused though...After receiving the 2nd bucket, was I supposed to go back to the well again? After making it out I'm still left with a bucket and I never figured out the clue of the photo of the tree because the game finished when I made it to the cemetery. I thought that is where the tree was going to be.

Honestly I never expect too much in this, I could say its well deserve for a five stars, though the story was short that I managed to finish in one day, the art and process was completely promising, I'm wishing for a better improvement and so you can create more games..

Got to a specific puzzle which irritated me and stopped playing. Wasn't incredibly transparent that was the correct direction anyway and I have better apps to spend time playing. Cute graphics though

So far so good, nice graphics and good story telling pieces along the way. Always a fan of point and click my way out of eerily dark and hauntingly beautiful gothic tales.

Fun and puzzles were kinda easy..it would be nice to know it's not the full version prior to download though. Otherwise entertaining

At the start the game started off great I'm still playing game and I'm very happy with the graphics and it's very easy to process and play! From what I can tell the story line is great as well.

Fun for an evening of entertainment. Puzzles are challenging, but I was able to solve all of them without hints. Great game, especially for free.

A great game like Facility47. Great puzzles and gameplay and story but what was the ending about. Would have been 5 stars if the ending had anything about it. Its like the developer got bored

Games r advertiSed as 'free' in order to give the try-before-u-buy option. It's the platform, NOT the developer. Perhaps update for 2020 technology? Would like 2 believe the developer reads these reviews. Kudos 2 the developers - FANTASTIC to play a game that is in English English - not American, & not European with lousy translations. Would like more like this. UPDATED: Doll in upstairs bedroom - meant to blink? A bit of a surprise.

Liked the creepy old house but not long enough. U have to purchase full, is only a pound but ends abruptly. Have played much longer free games.
