DarkSky.net Viewer
I created DarkSky.net Viewer because I prefer the mobile DarkSky.net website to most of the third-party weather apps currently available on Android, and prefer using it as its own "app" instead of a tab in Chrome. I hope you enjoy it, as well, though you should note that Dark Sky now has an official app in Google Play!
If you run into any trouble, please email me with information about your device, Android version, and exactly what is going wrong. I have a very limited number of Android devices to test on; theoretically the app should run just about anywhere, but older versions of Android may exhibit poor behavior due to outdated browsers.
PERMISSIONS:
* Internet: DarkSky.net is a website; obviously you cannot view it if you cannot connect to the internet
* Location: necessary if you want to have DarkSky.net automatically determine your location (although this works poorly for some devices! My advice is to use the official app, or manually enter your location instead)

most accurate and descriptive app for the weather
it is a very accurate app to predict the forecats

doesn't work for South Africa
works smooth, however doesn't show any interesting things, no option for animation/history for last few hours, doesn't show weather in your place automatically, time machine doesn't work - you can't move your screen and impossible to change hours (shows scale between 0 and 6am and nothing more)
All the Darksky accuracy and quality wrapped up in a clumsy and buggy UI. Please please please make the actual Darksky app available in Canada. It's my go-to weather service, but this wrapper is mediocre
Dont know what the change was for but the update is garbage. Basically unusable.
It is a fantastic app for day to day requirements. Very lightweight, and gives accurate hourly forecasts, enough to start conversation with confidence.love it.
Scrolling down is impossible in the"show more" view it's very annoying
So far great. Simple and clear. Love front page radar and hourly status bar for precipitation.

I live in the North, nice to have snow forecast.
App needs some improvement(s) -- initial screens ok including clicking on Today "+" -- but when clicking on "More Details", the app goes haywire -- screen is VERY unresponsive & time scale does not update (it is afternoon, but won't go past the morning hours) After I posted my review, I saw the 6/09/18 review - exactly the same thing I found.
Forecast.io contained more weather info.
Any way to set up the default address? It goes to somewhere in Toronto everytime

Buggy when you need to look at "more details' for the day's forecast. Information doesn't fit on screen and won't scroll. Other than that it works well.
I too prefer the website to and currently available Android apps but the website never quite behaves correctly in any browser. This solves that problem beautifully and simply. If there was a widget to display current conditions that would just be icing on the cake-not a complaint, just a wishlist :) . Thanks to the developer for sharing.
Looks nice and is useful (especially to those in a country where the official app is not available) but it freezes upon tapping on the date / opening the calendar.
