DashClock RSS Viewer Extension

RSS Extension for DashClock Widget
Enter your own feed address or pick one of our suggestions and have up to 5 articles displayed on your home or lock screen.

Want the latest 5 news articles at a glance whenever you unlock your phone? You got it. What about tech? Fashion? Science? Sport? Enter the address of any feed you like! Great for catching all that breaking news!

FEATURES:
- pick your own RSS feed or one of our 40 suggestions (let me know of any you want adding)
- customise the update interval
- customise the feed title and article lengths to allow for better display on your device

Not all RSS feeds were created equally. If you have one that doesn't work just drop me an email and I'll do my best to sort it out. Please note the formatting (layout, font etc) is all set by the DashClock widget and not by this extension. DashClock does not allow you to distinguish between the lockscreen or homescreen widgets
- therefore your settings will apply to both.

This extension needs the DashClock Widget installed

I loved the idea of this app. So very disappointed it does not update the feeds unless u manually enter the app.

Great plugin but the lack of an option to open an app or direct access restricts it. For example if using a news feed, having the option to open the news source's Android app rather than the feed website would make this more useful in my opinion.

Wish this worked better, but many times I have to open the dashclock settings, then the rss settings then save and then it updates, if that gets fixed its a 5 star app

Guys I'm running 4.2.2 , no reason why the RSS extension isn't appearing when I add it to the queue. I already emailed the crew so good luck hope you resolve because I love the service

I just use it to display news on my home screen. Does what it says on the tin. The only thing I'll note is that for some reason the headlines don't go all the way across the screen, cutting most of them off.

It will better if you could add multiple rss pages to show.

This widget is good for keeping up with current news. It would be more useful to me if I could set an option to only view one title at a time so that I can read the entire title at once. Basically I just want to see the entire news headline from CNN even if it needs to wrap and take up all five lines that the widget currently uses. Would this be a possible option in the future?

If you could add a shortcut to phandroid that would be great!

Newest update made 2 of the feeds get cut off. Update: Problem solved. 5 stars.

Poor design layout means you can't fit most titles on the screen makes this nearly useless atm. Adding more options and text sizes would be helpful, plus allowing a title to display over a wider area would be helpful.

But uses a lot of battery. Update... Just a weird issue at first with the battery but now does not use battery. Doesn't even show up on my battery stats.
