I can't say too much bad because it is better than a 2nd job. It's easy enough and gives you a lot of flexibility on when you want to work or accept an order. But the app itself does have a lot of bugs. When it comes to working/getting money, it is a big problem. There's times it sends an order but the app like freezes or crashes or something, and it reassigns the delivery to someone else because "you were to late to accept it." Just now I got an order, tried to accept, and it reassigned it

Pay is below average (compared to UE), flexibility mediocre (scheduling) and app is a buggy mess. Promotions tab not visible most of the time. Example of buginess: On second delivery, I ran into a bug that stopped me from being able to 'deliver' the item because it was infinitely processing the picture taken - had to restart the phone to fix! Will give it a second chance, and will update this review if performance improves.

When it works its fine, its a bit overwhelming at first because somethings are all over the place but you get used to it. But the most infuriating part is when the app doesnt open. I'll get an order and the app will tweak out, forcing me to close it, then having to wait for it to respond. So I lose the order, and then I get paused. Incredibly annoying and inconvenient.

It is good when it works, but try fixing it when it is crashing/broken. You either cannot get in to the system or out of it, and it is very annoying. Sometimes the navigation will stop working, or the order won't confirm after you complete delivery. Would also be very nice to not have to switch to the map app in order to drive to hotspots.

Overall, it's a solid app. There are several issues which still need to be addressed: 1. Google Maps in-app is very inaccurate, sometimes a half-city block off, but on other occasions almost half a mile off. 2. Will assign already dispatched orders to drivers (has happened at least twice a week to me}. 3. Still had stability issues that reqire hard-stopping the app and restarting to resolve. 4. Hides notifications of new orders while in a map to get to an existing order.

I've been a dasher driver for over a year and a half now, and it was great business at the beginning. Now, people tip much less often (not doordashes fault) and the app crashes literally every other day. This is the 11th time I'm having to uninstall and reinstall the app due to it not working, and I've had to do this process in the middle of an order. The app seriously needs to be fixed, because the app issues make it hard to complete orders efficiently.

This app is consistently garbage. The most unreliable app I've ever used. "An unexpected error occurred" is a message i see every day. The map malfunctions, the earnings won't display, the app won't open, the order can't be completed, the list of screw-ups is infinite. It's been this way for years. I've called so many times, nothing ever improves. It happens in different cities and with the newest, most current Androids. It's insane how bad this app is and how little the company actually cares.

Pretty good way to make some money! I enjoy it and actually have some fun. However the app can be buggy and has screwed me over multiple times during peak pay. If you leave the app and return it says "Return dashing" but when you click on it it just shows you how much you've made for your last shift. And clicking done just takes you back to the map. The small box at the bottom says your dashing but in reality you are not. Did not realize it until I was driving around for 20 minutes

It keeps spamming directions at me. It is too overwhelming and annoying. The navigation also starts making that noise to tell me that i took the incorrect direction. It starts putting too much pressure on me to complete orders. I am not familiar with the area and struggle to meet delivery times. It is starting to feel like i cant do it for much longer. It is not worth it.

Still terrible, but at least we're finally seeing bugfixes. The app no longer crashes every time it gets suspended. And the subtle UI changes are nice. And for a week they got rid of the stupid, "Are you really really sure you want to decline this $3 delivery for 12 miles?" BUT THEN THEY BROUGHT IT BACK! I cannot describe to you how unbelievably frustrating it is to navigate through four prompts to decline an order. It makes me app almost impossible to use while driving. Get rid of it, for good.

There are a lot of glitches in this app. Makes it very hard to deliever anything to people. Freezes when I get a new order and then I cannot accept the order. Doesn't even show up in the app it sends a text and then I miss it because of the slow processing speed. I can sit in a hot spot and get nothing and other dashers who are not in the area will get sent the order. Very frustrating.

Gets the job done, crashes occasionally, and sometimes new orders will obstruct the map, forcing me to redirect and spend more time on the road. ( I don't see why the app needs to send 3 texts, 2 notifications and a new popup window every single time a new order comes up. ) ( DoorDash CPM isn't very high, and gas price just keeps going up, taking away from what could be made otherwise. )

Stability has steadily gone downhill. I can't go one day without experiencing major bugs and crashes. Hurts all involved. Before rolling out new and improved features, make sure the ones you offer actually work properly. Also, I have been on hold with "v.i.p" dasher support over 30 minutes now while a whole lot of perishables go to waste... not great. Lost a nice delivery

Sometimes maps jumping around after receiving an order for pickup. I'm constantly restarting my phone, and refreshing the app that usually works. Sometimes I'm going in the right direction and then the app changes on me to go another way so I'm changing with it. Losing time when that happens because it's pointing me another direction so I get a reminder from you guys that I'm not going in the correct direction. But sometimes I am going in the correct direction and I still get info from support .

This app is an absolute disgrace to technology. It is a convoluted, very buggy app, probably filled with so much spaghetti code, It makes one wonder how it even works. In the last update fast pay stopped working, it resets the preferences by itself constantly, it freezes when taking a photo of a delivery on drop off, it locks you out without a warning, it pauses without orders, it is an absolute shambolic mess. Somebody needs to lose their jobs. Today, not tomorrow, today.

Abismal stability for an app I rely on for work. I miss multiple deliveries a day due to app crashes and freezes. Unacceptable performance. Notifications sometimes either don't arrive on time to accept the order or worse just won't make any sound or vibrations and I'll miss orders even when my phone is in my hands or on my car holder directly in my field of vision.

Can you please remove the ADT button from the top of the screen? It blocks my pickup/deliver by time, which is important info. I then have to navigate to other parts of the app to see those times which takes my eyes off the road and makes me more unsafe. If I needed emergency services I would NEVER use that button rather than calling 911. Having that button should be optional at least. It is a hazard

It's very glitchy, slow, and frustrating more often than not. I get the text message for an order, but this app won't load it so I can accept or decline...and then it'll pause my dash because I "missed too many delivery opportunities." It'll glitch out on loading GPS and also when I'm trying to close out an order. Oh, and once I was sent an order which I accepted, got to the store, and was told it had already been delivered?? My completion rate was lowered because I had to unassign it. 😪

The Dasher app is such a pain to work with. I leave the app for five seconds to answer change a song, and when I go back, it's saying "an unexpected error occurred" and it won't show me any hotspots nearby when I am literally parked in front of the building. This has happened multiple times since I got the app a year ago, and I force closed it and reopened it. Same error. So they forced my hand, and I tried to end my dash, at a peak pay. Ended up having to uninstall it. Def won't reinstall it..

Wow. The app was already horrible and glitchy, but the new update definitely made it worse. I've had to uninstall it 5 different times today because that is the only way to get it to work. Constant error messages, app crashes, and orders not reaching my phone. I will get a notification for an order, click it, and nothing comes up until I only have 2 seconds left to accept it. I just reinstalled again and it's made me log in 3 times. I'm a full time driver and this is making it very difficult.

This app just continues to get worse. I could deal with orders not showing up in the app when I get the texts, the times that I have to retake the photos to finish the delivery, and the inaccurate addresses. But now I can't click on anything in the app. I got a delivery that didn't show up that paused my dash, but I can't unpause OR end the dash. Fix your app!!!

The app constantly has errors sometimes delivering the map will go black. When choosing an order to take depending on the connection it will take a while and then show up minutes later after not knowing if it was accepted or not. This app does not work well in areas with poor reception. I often have to restart my phone or most of the time I have to close down the app go into settings clear out the cash and do a force stop when the app is not responding. I constantly do this when taking orders.

It's OK, have had a few minor glitches on it while taking the picture of the orders at the door. That's pretty annoying. Also it's crashed on me a few times during a delivery and that is very frustrating. However the first week of Dashing I loved it since it allowed me to Dash whenever I wanted to, but now it only allows me to Schedule times, and all the times are always gone in my area. When I do get a dash time it never allows me to extend the time of dash. Overall not super satisfied.

This app is terrible. They have the worst driver support I've ever dealt with. One person says one thing, and another person says another the next time. Crashing app, incorrect addresses or non existent addresses. Terrible. Spent 30 min waiting on this last order bc the app crashed and they have nothing to make up for these kinds of things. It's more of an "oh well that's your problem and we won't make up for our issues."

This app constantly freezes mid-delivery and you have to close and reopen multiple times to get it working again. Daily it will pause my orders for no reason. To deny orders is a three step process which isn't the easiest to do while driving on the highway trying to get back into the zone. This is by far the worst this app has ever been.

It crashes constantly forcing me to lose pickups and brining down my ratings. I have to force stop it all the time. Also doesn't show me all the promos or let me edit my info or see more than just Tampa Bay area. Also, if I am doing 2 orders at once it will only let me start with the second order for delivery instead of being able to switch to the order that came in first to deliver first.
