DAT Load Board for Truckers

I used DAT loadboards for almost 10 years since it still was Transcore360 software on PC. May not be perfect but the best out there. I had use many loadboard and still use 2 or 3 more, but none with the amount of freight this one has. Lately it has a lot less freight that some years ago and the rates are also down, but that is not the app problem. This is the economy and the brokers problem. Overall a good app. Recommended.

The new version of the app has some bugs. When I pull down to refresh it, I get an error most of the times. If I try to reorder by smallest deadhead out, it gives an error. The check for email notifications will disappear if I close the app. These hinder the use of the app. Please fix this soon. Paying for something that doesnt work as it used to is a version of insanity.

Dat is the best overall load board. Giving only 4 stars though because the app needs a bit of work. 1. Searches only allow 7 markets/states... while the cpu is unlimited, would be nice to be able to customize the searches better. 2. No way to quickly delete previous searches. A "delete all" or "delete selected" option would solve this--- the same for the work list would be very helpful.

Terrible customer service on hold over 30 min This app crashes all the time. Time after time unavailable to use. Can't wait for competitor to make a better platform. Happy Monday morning, app crashes again. Several times a week now. I think it's time to find a new provider.

This red App is user friendly, most owners opp uses their cell phones& tablets to dispatch pls do not change the graphics on it or the back ground color! It's very unique and it's loads are very visible unlike the new blue App or other load boards on the market! DO NOT CHANGE IT! loyal users .

Easy to use with some issues, for me on iPhone was working better, I used to click on the trip miles and see the pickup and delivery cities on map, with Android you can not do that you have to check it on Google maps to locate the city and routes. And broker need to put all the information of the load so we can save time from calling for a load it doesn't match with your needs. Thanks,

This app is extremely overrated! People always say to get the DAT board and I downloaded it went through the trial and found there's hardly any options whatsoever and no loads available. You can only choose to go to a state and not to a city in the mobile app. DELETED-

4 stars because it's worked out pretty good so far. I've just had a few minor issues but nothing major. Suggestion...It would be nice if loads that are added to the work list would delete off the work list when the load isn't posted/available anymore... Overall, the app's been pretty good though.

Please add the ability to sort loads by equipment. So for instance, when searching for reefer loads, one can sort R and VR loads. Other than that I have no issue with app <3 (of course if you could force brokers to input information about the loads. Times, stops, commodity, etc. That and to stop posting the same load all over the dang map!!! Would be more than awesome!!!)

The app is useful but there are some things that I do not like about it. Using market conditions is crucial in deciding where to get loads to, and I don't see a place that that is providrd. Another thing is; I believe blocked brokers show up on the app and they don't on the desktop version. Of course the desktop is much better than the app which I would expect. But overall the app has its uses.

I guess you can't get through to customer service because the complaint line is so long. I cancelled two days after starting but the app said I could continue using what was paid for. Not so. So then I reactivated to try again. Started getting messages that I had unpaid invoices!!!! Ban account was debited. Unbelievably terrible

For app designer to have an app in 2020, there is too many "CANT DO" and not enough "can do" Compare to Apple phone software, Android is really bad. Can't copy paste anything, can't select anything, can't see trip by clicking on loaded miles Can't forward unless screen shotted. Bottom line, if you are an android user, go get TRUCK STOP subscription, otherwise as a dispatcher and driver, this app will waste your life, time, money. Monthly high rate for undeveloped product

It's good, but could be better. Really need a way to separate load out trailers from actual power only loads. Been asking for this for 2 years now. Also allow copy and paste so email address can be used - or fix the link so it opens email and puts in the address when clicked (it currently opens blank).

Too many loads with no prices too many lowball trailer moves for Little to no money and brokers that dont list proper info like straps and chains needed etc. Booking loads over the phone is going to be a thing of the past. Apps with one touch booking is a good new way to save time money and cut down phone calls even when freight needs to be moved on the weekend and nobody's in the office.

I was getting a lot of error messages. Called technical support for a solution. When I or anyone gets the unexpected errors, just back out and push the + sign to do a new search and that fixes it right up!

Becareful booking Power Only loads with Swift. When you click on them to bid, it takes you to their load board. After you win a bid, they try to change it later by adding stops or bringing back an empty that wasn't included in the bid. Or they have you driving around looking for an empty without compensation for the extra miles and time.

Lots and lots of duplicates, single load is posted as many as 10 times and if some brokers have 3 loads you have to scroll through 30 loads to get to the next one. Very annoying and time consuming. There is also no standards, brokers have very high negative reviews and continue to post loads. There is no consequence for bad practices.

I like DAT however... free load boards share more information than is entered in by brokers. They should have certain requirements like pick up AND DROP DATES. Also I like that others have pegs on a map on the pick up and drop so I can quickly see the route and mileage.

I'm on the monthly $100 service plan. The app is great but needs to be improved. Brokers should be required to provide pick up date and time and delivery date and time. Soooo many unnecessary calls because of something so simple.

Some changes need to be done, to have brokers actually fill in provided fields... a lot of time wasted on asking questions ( the info that should be filled in) on loads that won't work out for you.... and also... be able to send direct email requests. It goes to my email page but the To: area is always blank.. you have to write down their email then go to yours. Being on the go and self dispatching, this wastes tons of time

Very limited options in this app compared to the desktop version. Dat needs to step up their game. They have a ton of customers and money to make a better product. Add a hot market map and a rate tool to it. Other companies with a smaller customer base already have those tools in theirs

Overpriced garbage. We've been using it 4 over 4 years and its just not worth the money. $150 per month with so many app problems is not acceptable in this fast environment. I will encourage everyone that I know to cancel it. There are better ways nowadays to get loads for much less then this !!!!!!!

I agree with others, great app. I am grateful for all the brokers that include all their load details in their posts. Wish it was required for all. I spend numerous hours on the phone each week just to find out that I can't take the load. The app has been down alot this week and that has been very frustrating. Especially since this is the only paid loadboard that we use. Seems like our price should be prorated for days the app doesn't work. 🤔
