I have been using free 1 hour and 2 hour data as much as I can. So reliable I topped up and buy data on the go. When I need it I know I will be sorted. Cheers 2degrees

I cam here to update my review. Because it was working? No, I even got a new phone (S22), a phone in which you would think would work with this app. Looks like 2 degrees hasn't bothered to change anything after a year. If this app doesn't work, I would seriously recommend you to get a new service provider.

For starters It won't even let me open the app at all or it will open it for 30 seconds then instantly go back out of the app and I'm really starting to loose patients I've tried many times but still don't know what to do I might just connect to Vodafone instead I've never like it but most people I know are getting really good data but fingers crossed just atleast let me open the app and type my number in for crying out loud I'm really counting on this to be found:(

Yes Katie(Review) I have been with 2degrees for 10 yrs & recently bought a new fone frm them(Opo)- despite using same SIM, lots of things did NOT transfer. ALSO cannot download the Google Pay App (as instructed) in order to get the Free Data Hour( now 2 during summer) soooooo frustrating😤

Have had the app for years and only since you have stopped the extra hour ( 2 hours a day) the app will not load and does not load the 1 hour of free data a day. Before this I had no issues with the app. If this can get fixed it would be a 4 maybe 5 star rating

It must have taken 2degrees 16 months to sms me since its Dec 2021 update, but Ive been a customer for about 4or 5 yrs. Today they sms me that I missed out on up to 43,200hrs of FREE DATA. If I earned 1 hour per day or ÷ by 365days = 118 years I would have to been a customer with them. Unless ?? 2degrees is counting the lost opportunities I had or I had 24x (hrs) opportunities per day to use the Data Clock app they only just sms me about. The 43,200 hrs sms msg I got just sounds scammy.

Im still not too sure about this app. When i just got it it was great! Like yeah free hour of data everyday. Now I notice I run out of data even faster than I did before I had the app and when I was with another provider. Pretty sure it doesnt even work sometimes (even though the clock is ticking) please add a function to notify us when it is using the data from our plans!!!!

Before the update it worked mostly fine, with the exception of using up my plan data even if my data clock time was still running, but now it's awful. Borderline unusable. When I buy time it's always at least a minute less than it should be (I realise this doesn't sound like a big deal but what's the point of paying full price for 15 minutes when you will only get 13?), the time seems to run out a lot faster, and notifications don't ever go off. Can we just revert back to how it was before

What we are not told is the upload speeds are VERY f***ken slow! This makes the data useless for video chatting, the other person sees a low quality, pixelated, stuttering video. The hint is in the wording, "stream for 1 hour" etc. Only good for streaming or downloading, as soon as the connection changes over from normal data to dataclock connection, you may as well forget about talking to your loved ones! I find this somewhat misleading and annoying if you get a call while using dataclock. I have confirmed this with speedtest, very asynchronous, just rude.

Broken after the last update. Often displays "something went wrong" message when attempting to redeem free hour of data, and phone number has to be entered everytime after reopening app (this was not required before the last update). Edit: issues were resolved after uninstalling and reinstalling. Also, a bug fix seems to have been released. Either way, app works fine now.

One hour of free data usage thanks to this app. Same speed same everything, one hour, zero MB used. What's not to like? I used to be very careful about how much data I used to use, now I don't have to. I have wifi at home, Wi-Fi at work, don't spend an hour outside of these two places. My 250MB a month is rolling over and accumulating, inspite of using mobile data on the go thanks to this app. Thanks 2 degrees!

Terrible don't use. The concept is great, and basic functionality is great and was 10Mb/s for me on galaxy S9. Interface is easy and good. BUT they haven't written it quite right and it WILL USE UP YOUR NORMAL DATA PLAN at the same time as the Data Clock plan. (It double dips). 2degrees been good about it, and had to reinstate my data packs. Twice. In learning this. Perfect for remote devices or ones without data plans but you need some data to get it started. There is a workaround but

I love this app. I have been using it since its release and it has come in handy plenty of times, be it road trips, camping or other WIFI-less places where you would rather not worry about data usage. One little mention, incase the 2degrees team reads this, the "I" in Night owl package is capitalised and just looks a bit odd. e.g "NIght owl" hopefully an easy fix.

Its good app for people who uses heaps of data. The recent problems, the free hour hardly ever available. App does not notify when its available even with all notification setting are on. The other problem is it should send a proper notification when time is about to expire. Notification only comes after time has expired n all regular data is consumed.

Cannot enter the code in time as it closes each time and need to submit a new one ...grrr!

Not happy about data clock sometimes because there always seems to be doing maintenence to offen and its inconvenient why dont they do it about 3 in the morning when people are not mostly using it then? Not good.

App keeps saying I have no $ in account when I do have $. When I press top up it redirects me to the app store to download 2 degrees main app. I'm going in circles here.

I have to restart my phone for it to activate when I have no data and use my daily free hour which is annoying. And half of the time the free hour disappears as well as the stash hour, so I don't get to use them. I'm disappointed with it because it's inconsistent and doesn't seem to work well. Concept however is awesome, just doesn't seem to work as it's meant to on my phone for some reason?

The data clock idea just doesn't work as the associated app is BEYOND USELESS! In fact, it's uselessness taken to a art form! On top of that, you can't get hold of ANYONE to check it out and get things fixed! After MANY years with 2degrees it's reasonable to hope far better in the way of delivery. I'm OVER IT - two days trying to get this sorted out, and 2 degrees haven't even bothered to get back to me. Do yourself a favour, and go to another provider!

Last update (end Feb) was rubbish. Keep asking for my number everytime I openedit. Confusing to see the options of free data and when actually started. Nice way to make us stop g using it. Nice way to save some data. Just wish for some better reminder that the time is ending because I used mostly for commute and it's easy to miss it.

Loved this app, it's been a lifesaver while ive been without internet the past few months. I've been buying time nearly every day. So you can imagine my disappointment that I no longer get any free hours since the recent update. Certainly doesnt make me want to buy more time! I often use the free hour to top-up my prepay phone online, which I can't do without internet, A bit of a flaw in the system! Bring back the two free hours!

WARNING! Total CON! Don't install it unless you have no more data available. It will offer 1 hour free once or twice and then charge you at the next offer. Even when you had available data that you have already paid for! Double billing for the same hour. If you install it, read each offer very carefully because they are NOT all free. You have been warned!

Once you register it blocks you from using casual data & you can only buy through the app. Does not warn you of this & It took me ages to figure out. I don't want to have to buy 15 minutes of data for 2 seconds use.

Been using this for years. Used to be a 5star app. But suddenly in the last month it's down for maintenance for large parts of every day. No explanation. Christina 🌹

Constant issues with app not available , always going through maintainence , always have to try again later! If not fixed soon i'll delete app then leave 2° for a new provider!!!!

Always going through mantanince, sometimes doesn't tell me my data clock is finished and I end up using all of my personal data.

Would give 0 stars if I could I load up the app put in my phone number and do the verification put it in perfectly at least 15 times now and each time is says that it has had multiple errors and never works

Needs a notification feature with sound, I have to set an alarm on my phone so I don't go over. I moved to 2degrees after being with Vodafone. I chew through data way too fast with 2degrees doing the exact same stuff I did with Vodafone. That was before I loaded this app though, so not sure why I go through data so much faster with 2 degrees??

Received an unusual text saying I missed out on 289hrs of free data since I started with 2⁰s. Bruh I never even knew about it til now. So thinking 'Hey this is great & will be most useful' until scrolling thru the reviews & the high 1 ⭐ ratings seemed too off putting to risk the unnecessary frustrations. Goodness life is frustrating enough! 2Dgs were great back in 2009 & coming back 🤔 well I guess it's better than what a had at Vodafone (today) only time will tell
