Suggestion, please. For the videos, kindly add an option to select video quality. It seems the videos are in 1080p, which consumes a lot of data. Going back and forth between the videos alone, consumes so much data. We need an option to select between video qualities like 480p, 720p and so on. Thanks.
Very very well done app. The reason for the low score is as you may now it, the cost of premium. Monthly subscription at $30 per month is far too much to ask for an Android app. I would absolutely consider $30 or even $50 for an annual subscription but asking that much each month is far too much. E.g. You could get multiple streaming services for the same rate. A slight adjustment and I would have no problem paying for this app but as it stands I'll pass.
The contents are good, the app itself has issues. It doesn't handle screen rotation well. Overall nice, the practice could be harder and more organised, but the content is fantastic. Edit1: The suggestions for wrong answers on workouts are a bit off sometimes. Edit2: I'm giving it 4 stars for the reply, and I appreciate that. I shall reach out to the team and see. Edit3: The problems have been fixed and the app is awesome!
I've been studying Python and Tableau, as well as brushing up on my SQL. I've accessed this site on my laptop and my mobile device; both are comparably user-friendly. The in-browser coding window is the most bug-free of any site from which I've trained. I like the "hint" feature which gives a nudge in the right direction (with a small point penalty) without totally giving away the answer. Classes are well delivered well and the explanations are pretty clear.
This mobile app is surprisingly really good! The lessons are good in terms of education, but the experience is also pretty amazing. You can run queries, you can see results, and you can do everything in the mobile app that you could do anywhere. It even has auto complete! This has been a surprisingly cool app, very glad I found it.
Awesome app. Great content. I'm learning a lot about data science & programming. It's awe-inspiring that such wealth of knowledge can be compacted into a mobile device. The UI is also easy to interact with, with exercises displaying quite easily. I'll recommend a download to device update so learning can continue offline & possibly install a text-to-speech button for easy comprehension of reading materials. Great app guys. Kudos 👏!
Love this app. But there is one issue i hope can be fixed. Sometimes when I'm trying to delete code, it only lets me delete a few characters and then it stops me from deleting the rest of the line. Then when i click on a different line, everything i deleted reappears. I found a work around by clicking anywhere else in the code and just typing something. Then when i click back on the line i was trying to delete it lets me. I still give this app 5 stars even with the glitch.
The best and unique thing about this app is Practice and Flashcard. Even if you learn today practice section will make sure you don't forget or loose grip from the concept in future. Just comeback and keep practicing. The Flashcard is just like cheat sheet. I ❤ how carefully the course is crafted. Just one problem please include Practice & Flashcard in every section. Rest everything is great!
I have been using this app for almost a week now, thanks to a scholarship from Ingressive for Good (I4G) and it's been amazing. The content is so straightforward, easy to understand, the SQL, practical exercises are my best part so far, I can't wait to explore more about the other courses available.
The backspace key is not responsive at times. For instance, when I'm practicing SQL and I mistakenly typed 'AND' instead of 'OR', I can backspace up to 'A' and no further.... Sometimes I have to close the app and reopen repeatedly....
The app is so easy to use and the lessons De better explained with exercises. I wish that sor of the exercises follow through one Organisation product or system or data storage. That way, it better would be understood.
This app is definitely worth it and provides a great experience with awesome certificates. After a week of being a free member, you're only limited to one lesson a day, it's kind of discouraging. It one was limited to like a chapter a day, that would be better. One lesson a day can make someone who doesn't have enough money lose interest or quit the app. Thanks.
Datacamp is indeed a lovely app for learning datscience. Its built-in programming interface enables users to easily run codes for output. Up until now I have not noticed any particular issue with the app. Its really nice.
How can I learn about Data science without participating in the gathering of data. App is well structured and user friendly. Information is easily understood and delivered in a concise way. Overall, great app! I look forward to learning more.
Data camp is amazing. The module explanations are great and the contents are well organised and easy to understand. I recommend DataCamp for everyone interested in learning a programming language wherther you are an absolute beginner or you are trying to improve upon an already existing knowledge.
I love the way they build on basic principles: makes the coding feel intuitive. I wish the free version allowed a few more exercises each day. It always feels like it's over too soon.
DataCamp is the best data science teaching platform in the world. The platform is easy to navigate and the leader boards motivate you to strive more to be up there at the tops. What a master piece we've got here. Oh, did I mention that it doesn't consume your memory space too? I just did.
DataCamp is my new favorite MOOC-style app and website! For one, I can jump right into the coding sessions without repetitive lectures. If I really need help, I use the hints and reference resources online. 10/10 would recommend both the Free and paid Premium services!
Even the free content is excellent. You can learn one new set of lessons per day and review everything you've done so far - using this app in the morning has become a routine for me to get my brain going and it never takes up too much of my time
This app provided me exactly what I needed, to get my hands on programming using R. The good part is the fact that you can practice programming using your computer or your smartphone. The only drawback is that it has limited time to practice when you have not paid for using it. However, I highly recommend it for beginners in programming.
discovered the Best Data Science Introduction, I could ever think of.. Loved the UI and the experience using the Data Camp app. As such, this certainly is one of the best learning sites, despite the heavy competition in the Industry.
I have a primium subscription. The content in the career path I was following using by desktop isn't available in the mobile app. I am really disappointed about this issue of not syncing the content. Hope you will address the issue soon.
My rating is with respect to the UX. Your app (Web & mobile) is so difficult to navigate. It's a struggle to find the active courses I'm registered for. I should be able to see all my active courses all in one place. I'd suggest the developers study LinkedIn Learn for inspiration on how to go about this.
Very efficient and fast way of learning for beginners. The app is a useful resources and easy to navigate. The points and progress rating makes it all the more exciting.
I've been having a lot of issues with the app crashing. It crashes whenever I am typing in code and then try scrolling. The screen will scroll up and then the app crashes. Another issue with the code screen: it doesn't let me delete mistakes very easy after testing them. The text just reverts back to what was last typed. App: Version 45.2.1 Phone: Galaxy S20 FE Android 12.0 (Overall really loving the app. I would love to write another review if this issue can get fixed. Thanks!)
If you have issues typing into the coding environment, get a Bluetooth keyboard and install an app that gives you no keyboard on screen, then select that app as your keyboard, bam, everything types fine. I just wish all of courses could be accessed in the app with my pro account. There's a lot of potential with this app if they decide to expand upon its features.
Generally enjoy the app and love the learning experience but I've been having some issues recently. For instance, I'm having trouble clicking things on the screen, like the auto recommended text or the underscores indicating where a response is required. So I keep clicking and struggle to get the object selected. Also, I tried to leave feedback and the text is not appearing. It seems to be white, so it's showing up as though text is being entered but not visible. Also would love a note feature!
