DataEye | Save Mobile Data

I have used and loved this app for years! Never had any issues. I just updated it though and now it's useless. Almost all of my apps vanished from the drop down menus. I can no longer block the apps that I'm not using nor can I unblock the apps that I need to use. It appears to have randomly blocked some and not others without showing which ones. I have to shut DataEye off to do anything on my phone. I also tried contacting the developer, but the email came back address unknown. Please help?

It was good before the last update, now I can't even see all my apps on the list so I can't even block or unblock what I need to block, I wish you can return it back to how it was.

Have been using this wonderful app for years, however recently it has become useless it turns itself off almost immediately while app is still open. Unfortunately no longer useful

I wish I could give it a 5 Star Rating. If only it had a "do not show again" check box that prevents an app prompt on whether to allow an already blocked app from accessing the internet or not time and again. Though it comes in handy at times when you need it to. Other than that, it is a great app. I also wish it could Auto-Start. It does what it's meant to do though it does not show some apps and does not completely block other apps like Facebook at times. Overall, thanks to the developer!

Older version i could see all apps, now i cant see my app. We need the older version back, this is broken.

I can't get all my apps to block after the last update ,it is useless you should better fix this problem to get 5 star !!

Pretty much does what it says. It can even block system connections, which is great. If there would be anything else, I would like the ability to have separate wifi and data settings for individual apps. As it is you can only block both or neither. Edit 5/2: Taking off 1 start for lack of options. In addition to above, it needs option that turns off the popup that comes up everytime a blocked app tries to connect. Makes it too easy to accidentally allow a connection. Still great app.

1 it keeps going off without you even knowing. I have to manually turn it on several times in a day. 2. When' it's working', it does a good job of blocking apps you don't want to use data, but before you know it, it'll disconnect 3 It consumes data excessively. A data saver app that consumes excessive data(you won't know it does because it does not show its own personal usage. Only shows for other apps, but when you go to your phone's data usage statistics you see that it is using so much data

Blocks apps even when on strong wifi connection. It's only supposed to block mobile data. I've also never seen the claimed feature that alerts you that you're trying to use a blocked app and asks if you want to unblock it temporarily. Laatly, every time I open the app, data saver has been turned off. I toggle it back on, but everytime I open it back up it's been turned off again. Ultimately unusable.

Don't update guys!!! It lose capability to block user installed app.

I love this app but on my galaxy A51 android 12 no app lists only system apps is available my installed apps not available please solution Your customers dear

Would if be possible to have a pop-up notification if an app is blocked to make it easier to unblock for 10, 20 minutes of permanently? Having it on the navigation bar is good but not as convenient. Maybe have a switch in settings to turn on. Nevermind. App stops notifying if an app is blocked. Remove cache resets but does this over and over. Uninstalled app.

Blocks app access to the internet as claimed. I noticed that my phone's battery life is much better once I blocked access to the majority of the apps including system apps. I would like to be able to view and block specific requests via the ports and ip address instead of just for the app, similar to what noroot firewall offered. But this app is great regardless

I used to love this app. It worked perfectly on my Samsung A5, but it's giving me issues now that I switched to a pixel 3. It doesn't allow certain apps to function properly, despite them not using data (mobile date off), being allowed to use data or with wifi on. Someone I know also recently switched phones and DataEye is blocking Signal messages to go through unless they open the app. Hope it gets fixed in an update.

I cant play PUBG when this app is on. Cant even find PUBG app to unblock.

Excellent, thanks to developer. Ever since I bought Samsung J4, my data just kept on "vanishing " even with their so called "data saver " on and background disabled .Need I say more, Data eye really protect our data, through its whatcful eye. The only minor issue ot seems as if when o switch off Mobil data on phone ,data eye also sleeps and those background apps start to be active, I might be wrong pls correct me if I'm mistake. One of the worst firewall apps I've seen! Keeps automatically scrolling back to the top on the Control page when blocking each app so then we need to scroll back down to the next app we want to block, just ridiculous! Won't 'Block All' when I press it in settings, totally useless! Won't allow Google basic services apps to be blocked. We don't need google apps for every application we use so that's just dumb! Uninstalling.

I previously installed this app on my previous devices and for convenience it used to be able to have a pop up of showing when accessing app but now it does not when attempting to use an app but rather it only show on the notification bar on. Please bring back the option to automatically pop-up in the screen when allowing an app to use data or not. It's easier that way

As of late, the app has been blocking all my apps from using data, including those I have allowed to use data. Reinstalling the app did not fix the issue. What's the point of "allowing" apps when it blocks them anyway? Might as well just stick to turning off my data directly. Or find a better app.

It all started great, but ended with regrets... I always had to open the app to make it work. Even at that, some apps will still gain access to data and still push notifications on my notification board when I've blocked them... I'm not liking what I'm seeing at all. This is not how it used to be...

First of all, Very nice application that works as intended. Very useful 😇 Just one problem is that while selecting any application for restricting the usage , whole application list will be scrolled up and we've to again scroll down to choose next. Could you please, Fix it and update the app. It would be much appreciated.

So far, so good. Has the option to block data access whilst using WiFi. This is really useful for metered connections. Nice granular control of what apps and system processes can connect to the outside world.

Awesome App. When you install new app, it automatically added to Block Apps, then you can control whether you will allow it to access internet or not. And everytime new app attempting to access without your permissions, the notifications are popping up! Love!

Just the app we wanted!! 👌.. BTW, I think it'll be even better if we open a blocked app & it asks us to unblock the app during the time we keep it open & block again as soon as we close, along with 'unblock for 10 minutes' in a drop down menu.

Does exactly what it says! A one of a kind app.... I use several gaming apps and the data being used in the background was ridiculus. Well not no more thanks to this app and i havent had any issues and still have high speed data at the end of the month and with 60 apps downloaded that is sweeet💚so thanks Data Eye!

It is really helpful. I always forget to turn off mobile data when watching youtube. Now i dont have to worry. I also like feature where it allows you to use blocked apps for 10 mins.
