4 me, Dave was always 5stars. For over a year now. There have been a couple glitches but no one's fault. But now, even though I've never missed a payment to them & my income has actually Increased, all of a sudden the amount of my advance available Decreased! It had been the same amount for quite awhile but now it has Decreased twice in a row-with no warning. The only answer I could get was that they changed their guidelines. Well, i have changed mine as well since there's obviously no loyalty

This has to be the most annoying app ever created!! It's got more bugs than an entomologist! The most annoying one is that you can't close the bottom portion of the number screen in order to agree to the terms and conditions check box when you're trying to enter a debit card! So there's that but there's still more issues with the app! Don't waste your time on this. It's not like they have a chat option either!!! RUN AWAY from this app!! It sucks! UPDATE: data breach exposed my CC number! 🤬

I was recently just getting 100$ advances. I paid my loan back a few hours early since I was paid a bit early and now I can only receive 10$. This app is ridiculous. Now I'm stuck broke after handling bills and have to wait another 2 weeks before my next paycheck. I've really wasted my time thinking this app would get better but it just screws you time and time again with no way to get support. I really would just prefer if they added a easier way to get out of there monthly service hassle free.

Dave left me high and dry! They promise money to bridge the gap until you get paid, and will charge you fees in order to expedite payment. However they will then take the money back before you actually get paid! They also won't refund said fee even though it was a required option in order for you to have had your money deposited before the date you needed it, which in my case was the day they took it back! Their customer service was very disrespectful and not understanding at all.

So this is one app that really does work. You don't have to change your bank account or have your paycheck direct deposited into a new account. You connect to your existing bank account and when you need it you can request money to be direct deposited either instantly (for $5.99 fee) or if you're a person who plans ahead, standard deposit for free. Not sure how long it takes because I'm not one of those people. It asks for an optional tip which is used for charity. Convenient & Recommended!

I have used this ap before with no problems, and even though it was a much lower amount then most apps for me, I liked how easy it was.I closed my account a couple of times trying to stay away from loans but really needed some cash recently so tried to reopen again. I have been waiting over a week to hear from someone because suddenly they can't confirm my identity!

I got a first loan with Dave and things went well. I requested a second advance of $100 and although the app says I got the advance, it never avowed up in my account. However, on my payday, you can bet they took money that I didn't owe out of my account. I'm still dealing with it and had to make a dispute through my bank in the hopes that they see the truth. There are other apps/companies that advance moneyband help with finances, I urge you to use one of those. This app is the worse!!!

I was finally able to get assistance with my replacement card, however I still think there should be better access to customer service especially when it's an app dealing with your money. I appreciate this app it has saved my butt more than a few times... Would give it 5 stars if they at least had a live chat instead of a bot and a ticketing system.

This app does not allow you to cancel easily. Customer service is not very helpful, they just keep referring you to help articles and trying to disconnect the chat if you don't respond in 30 secs. When I pointed out the error they told me to uninstall and reinstall the app because it has problems sometimes and there was nothing they could do to help.

This app is awful. I connected my bank and it says it can't find my paychecks even though I get the same amount direct deposited from work every two weeks. I added my income and it says verified but still says I can't use the app because it can't auto detect my paycheck. I tried to use the budgeting feature and that didnt work either. Every month I pay gas, wifi, water, mortgage, insurances, phone, subscriptions, etc. It found ONE bill that wasn't even a bill, it was money being moved to savings

edit: recent cash advance took longer then 3 business days and now claims its the banks error in why the advance hasn't arrived. First time not using the express advance. Seems like thier way of penalizing you for taking the free delivery option. support was unhelpful. Also a fee now for having the app which there never used to be and still bug for donations with a non user friendly interface for tipping unless you are familiar with there scheme. Steady decline In quality, functionality.

lends you money. pretty lenient with payback times. It costs a little extra for immediate (express) pay. you can leave an optional tip if you want. it kind of forces you to add one when you request the payment. so just make sure you remove it when you pay it back.

Thank you. This, was a Godsend. Application was easy to navigate, and enrollment was a breeze. Think the whole process took all of about 5 minutes, and already have my advance, and will be leaving for the grocery store shortly. Small membership fee, $1/month after first month free, fees for services are reasonably priced, and they offer quite a few resources for financial planning. Highly recommended.

Awful and Compromising. Had my account for a month no problems, then it gets hacked. Dave pulled money out of my account (making me go negative) and all they could say is "we've escalated this issue be sure to check your email for further information". Still have yet to receive my money back on something that I did not initiate, also they were no help with someone having full access to my account. They changed all my information and I had no idea. Awful! Not worth the headache!!!

There are many other apps that do the same thing WITHOUT a monthly fee, charging tip despite 'no tip' selected, making you pay a $4 fee to receive in less than 3 days (in addition to the monthly fee), AND having your account lost and limit dropped as low as $20 because you haven't requested an advance in 6 months (but kept the app AND the monthly fee continues to be withdrawan from your bank acct) despite nothing but a good history and no change in income/credit.

I've been dealing with this app for a while. At first I was able to get a loan for $75, and I did that back and forth for a long time. All the sudden I qualify to only get $5. I cancelled my subscription, and uninstalled the app. I didn't deal with them for a while until recently. They had the wrong payday and tried to withdraw before my money was deposited. I got it corrected, and now they say Dave has to verify my bank information. Now I can't get anything. I guess it's time to cancel.

Been using this app for some time, useful when I need money in a pinch. At least it was, until it started rejecting my login information for my account. I've verified that the information is correct by logging into my bank account with copy+paste. Guess I won't be using it til this bug is fixed. Edit: after months of the same BS I've modified my rating and will be deleting the application. Do not use this service.

Horrible app. I borrowed one time and it took the money before time and debited twice. Then when I am all paid up I tried to cancel my membership and they send me to articles that don't help. You can't call them you have to email them. It's stupid cause no one gets back and they will keep getting money I am just going to have to get a new debit card or bank account cause this is to much. Would not recommend this service.

Borrowed money twice to build up credit with them, and they took the money out in installments. Well, I have one installment that is stuck and I keep getting an error saying Dave ran into an issue. I can't change payment methods during a pending transaction, called my bank and it's available, and I emailed support about it with no response. So....I now have a stuck account. :(

It is an ok app, but every single time I have used it their little system changes my due date. I set my correct due fate and they change it. They are always trying to take the advance back in the middle of my pay period instead of on my due date. Chat is useless. This can really mess a person up if the budget is tight, as for most of us using this type of service is apt to be.

great app, sometimes I'll run into issues with my advances getting lowered for no reason, all paid back on time, never late, then all of a sudden back to the lowest amount. I think they fixed the problem and haven't had any issues in awhile

Updated #3: i momentarily got excited that everything that was fixed, but that excitement quickly faded. Every single day i have to uninstall, then reinstall the app go through the sign in hoops & verifications to access my account. After doing so i can log on but the very next day if i try & log on i get the "oops" message & have to uninstall/reinstall & jump through the log in hoops again to get access. No option to contact support...might have to call it quits now.. Damn, i had hoped.. .

it would be great if the advances were consistent. sometimes you get one amount consecutively, sometimes it's a different amount and instead of paying during a payday it's at the end of the week or the next day. it's all over the place.

This app is trash. I've been waiting a full week for an "instant transfer", and have not received it. Yet the app is still going to collect $131 on the 31st of the month? Find a different app. This ones scamming you and getting away with it. I've also spent the last 2 days trying to get answers and I get ZERO.

If your banking needs require anything more than ATM withdrawals avoid these people at all costs. My bad experiences are to numerous to list so I'll just leave today's experience as an example. I stayed at a hotel last month and was required to give them a credit card deposit which was released by the hotel the morning I checked out. Dave holds funds up to 30 days. So it's day 31, still no money and no help from customer service. I'm at my wits end with these people.

absolutely love using dave. it helps keep track of bills and its cash advances with no credit check and no fees (optional $5.99 to get money instant and then you can chose to tip but you can tip nothing) has saved my but many times. highly recommend!

I loved this app! I really did. Except now my approval was drastically slashed from 200 to 50. There's no explanation as to why. I also noticed the past two advances they took an extra 30$ tip I never approved saying I added the tip on after I got the advance? Doesn't make much sense does it? This has really hurt my finances this month. Ridiculous.

Becareful if you use this app. Like I borrowed $100, and the next on my pay day they took out $121. So beware of fees. And they charge you a dollar a month, even if you don't use the app. And trying to get the account delete, is a joke. The give you so much run around, and keep adding on things they need to prove why you have or need to delete your account with them. So just Beware before signing up.

Great app everything it says is true. At first I had problems getting an advance, but there support system is amazing, I had a problem and they fixed it. They were fast too, anyways if you need a cash advance this is a Great app to have...

Havent used this app for a year and my bank account was just randomly debited for 106$. Tried to log into the app to see what was going on and cant even login. Just takes me back to the first screen. Changing my password didnt help. Pretty pissed off.
