Too many ads and the video ads sstart with volume. It startles my wife every time. There's no option to turn off the auto play or the sound. In fact, there is no configuration option in this app. They have ruined this app. I am very long time reader of Dawn, but sadly I am leaving it now because of this obnoxious "feature".
Dawn newspaper and TV are credible and probably the most reliable sources of news from Pakistan. However, their app an YouTube news videos, which show up in this app as well, are worst. It has been long time it's like this. Looks like no effort is being used to improve video quality and smoothness. If you can't broadcast 4K videos, at least show HD video quality. Besides the videos keep pausing and interrupting, though I use high speed internet service. Hope people in charge would pay attention.
There are some issues exist, but, I have good experience while using this app. A bit more work should be made. As I have experience some modules are not working properly despite having internet it doesn't open ist page of the app and shows that u have no internet facility that drive me nuts.
I was using the other Dawn news app in English but it was not showing any news for last one week or so, thought this is an upgrade but this thing is entirely different. That old app was really good. Simple, no videos and just the daily paper. Urdu version is fine but users should be able to select English paper version as I believe DAWN was originally the english newspaper of the country. Just uninstalled it.
good app, but i want to give one suggesion that please may kindly be main menu button change from left side to right side. because main menu button on left side is difficult to operate with right hand thumb.
The app is not working from last 35 days. "the news is not updated yet" only this shows on top of app when i open it Please fix it
The older version, one I had in my iphone, was way better than this one. This app is really stupid. Please bring back the older version.
Extremely Pathetic, You will only be able to read the headlines but can not read the detailed News.It will keep downloading the news unsuccessfully.
watch it carefully but now there is problem in expanding the headlines,now have to remain content with only headlines headings.Kindly see to it.

We need that English version. It's not available. Whoever moved it to Urdu it's a stupidity. We need English everone. Almost ever person on play store is looking for it. Bring it back.
Astonished to see that Dawn has developed app in urdu. Dawn has a unique standing amongst limited English media in Pakistan. This app should be in English or a language selection may be added.
Bring back English dawn app kindly. This app is of no help. It even has bugs and issues.

After some urdu text news pages opening, app hangs and goes to close down. This happens several times upto ending. Very iritating. Kindly remove this error.
The old Dawn app was so good that I never thought of any other app for getting news on my device. I do not know that prompted the developer to change that app to this one because this is no way near to the old app. Therefore I am going to uninstall this app. I hope that developer will give us the old app. Bye
App is a little buggy. Overall it's stable. However there are few problems. Biggest is that if you change the icon size, it doesn't remember it. The moment you come out of that article and open any other article, the only size switches to default. Can't understand why it can't be fixed, since it's prevelent in ios too..
