A great game. Watching adverts is optional with a great reward system for doing so. You can play the game without ever watching a single advert or even spending money on it. I am looking forward to the end game. The journey in quests so far has been great. I love the art style and can't believe how massive the world is. I would love to see more random events and outcomes for them added into the game in future. The potential for this game is massive. Like a new take on the classic Fallout game.
Just started playing but I have been enjoying the game a lot. Premium is definitely worth it since the bonuses stay when starting a new game. I would like to see a way to separate stacked items especially items with durability or food that can go bad. The option to choose between using bone glue or electrical tape when repairing would also be nice. Will update once in play a bit more.
I first tried this game years ago and got pretty far. I recently got a new phone and restarted the game. The fact that they're still doing updates is really awesome by itself but I am so impressed with everything they've added. The story is easier to understand now and the depth it has is surprising for a mobile game. This could easily be developed into a full console or PC game, all the pieces are there. Definitely worth it to get the premium version.
Changed my review. The game now offered a better experience for offline users. It's not as tedious as before to travel around, and it offers enough fun / balance without really feel OP in the end game. The survivor base is a good start. Only thing that keeps me from giving 5* now is the lack of content. We definitely need more main and side quests, and meaningful end game content.
No skill or strategy involved whatsoever. I felt like i wasnt even playing a game, i was just consuming my time with no challenge. i played for about 3-4 hours before giving the game up, maybe it becomes more strategic later, but its not worth my time to find out. i gave 2 stars instead of 1 because there is lots of variety with items and crafting options.
For a adventurous survival game I must say this is a great mobile play. The mechanics are simple and keeps you going at every difficulty. The story is engaging and every step is a choice. Hoping that salvaging is expanded on. I'd love to see more use of the (broken/damaged) vehicles found be able to be salvaged with proper parts. Or an ease of leveling pets found. The only thing I've come to feel as a negative is recuperating health at times. Healing paste seems to be a very heavy used tool.
Play this on and off for 3 or 4 years. Latest improvement is really great though it makes the game considerably harder. Man... I was a rich man before, with dug out home, cellar, oven, and everything. I even travel around with a car. New updates seems to tamper with my progress. Also i dont really like the level system to unlock some crafting stuffs. It doesnt make sense
good customer service and fun survival game. used to be one of my favourite. a lot improvement have been done from the graphic, interface, mechanics and etc. i am happy with the improvement but i prefer the old game where it is much harder to survive. human meat, run to get shelter when acid rain. overall it is a good game
I personally like the game very much and I've only had one link issue with purchasing perks hoping for it to be fixed soon would hate to lose my progress cuz I've been working hard to survive current record is 6 years and 6 months which is probably not a lot for people that have been playing a long time but I am happy with it
Love this game. If you like games such as Project Zomboid, Necesse, NEO Scavenger (!), then you will love this too. It's a survival strategy with an optional story. Super cool, check out the wiki online for help/info! Devs, suggestion. Please make an option to craft with bone glue instead of tape! I have to remove tape from my storage when I craft so that I don't use up all my type :/ You have this option when crafting bone glue, being able select purified water and fish. Should be easy?
Well worth the purchase and the 5 star rating. One of the few mobile games where in-game purchases are truly optional and not at all necessary, also no stupid energy mechanic to limit your play time and try to get you to spend money. Has addictive gameplay and fun survival mechanics. The game received many great updates over the years. Essentially the game feels very much like playing project zomboid with point and click exploration and turn based combat.
Last update ruined the game. Bring it back to previous version! old style map was a lot easier to navigate/ player friendly/ helicopter is gone/ transport vehicles are gone/ that was what motivated players to level up/ now the map looks chaotic/ unfriendly / there is no more element of random discovery when looting towns/ game is now directing players to certain areas for resources/ also character is harder to control in terms of movement/ same problem when zooming in/
Miss being able to drive through water and having infinite belaz durability, but it's still a good game, and if you just want singleplayer, on chrome you can download an old version, you can still play online, but you cant play with others :/ Edit: they made it so you cant do that, really dumb for like a milion reasons,
It's a really unique game with nothing really like it. Everything about it is well thought out and implemented. There are a few things that can be improved like the chemical suit needing 10 tanned leather to repair, but that stuff is probably just errors or mistakes. Other than that, no complaints. The premium bonuses are nice, but it is still very enjoyable without them. 10/10, ruskies
Update 0.7 has been fantastic so far, the addition of quest progression through settlements, new items, more advanced items requiring a specialist crafter makes so much sense, cannot wait to see more. Actually started a new save to see how it works as intended, and I have to say - the quest cooldown works for me since I mostly play in smaller bits throughout the day but I don't know how well the progression will work for other people.
New update is going in the right direction. "One life" mode feature could of had a rewarding aspect like being able to use multiple pets, or something.
Game : I love the game. Almost limitless map. Excited to explore em and level up to create my own base. After the update : I experience bugs when stepping on different terains. Even if I am in a forest, the game would register it as wasteland. Almost any terain is registered as 'Wasteland' regardless of the indicators of the map that it isnt.
In game purchases are unimportant, everything is realistically achievable without them. Great for those of us with a life. One time purchase of premium version is all I need. Free version is great to find out if it's the game for you. This version is great if you liked the free version. The devs have shown integrity and respect for their product, and still are updating it. Worth every single star I'm giving it. Has single AND multi-player.
I love the game, It's in my opinion the best mobile game out there and I've been playing it years ago and I just came back to play it again. I have some Bug Reports and suggestions that I think would help the game. Bugs: When barrels explode the game doesn't work for 20 seconds (for every barrel that explodes in combat) pls fix this, it's very annoying. Suggestion: Bring back to use of 2 pets in combat (only having to use one makes the other pet useless). I change review if game is better.
Updated my review (from 1 star to 3). New update is causing performance issue that is slowing time in game, but game stayed fluid. Everything was just taking extra time for no reason but didn't show signs of performance issues. After testing on someone else device, I've lowered graphic quality and it seems fine atm. Started a new game will know more in time...
Despite paying for the premium version the game is still very slow and grindy without paying more. What's there is fine for a post apocalypse survival game, and the crafting system is good and varied, but the pace of the game without buying extra stuff through in app purchases stopped me playing after a few days. I doubt I'll open the app again to be honest. In reply to developer. Surviving was easy, its leveling up to progress the story that takes too long for me.
I used to have lots of trouble using the mechanics and getting into the story but with added fast travel in quests and optional ways to tackle said quests this game has been much more fun than I remember
I think this is a really interesting experience and approach to survival, although I'm wondering if the story is going to get somewhere or this is this just an excuse because it doesn't make much sense and seems very repetitive. I also believe we'd benefit from even more crafting possibilities, especially for buildings.
