DayDay Band

This is such a hard device to navigate. When I finally got it to record my steps it did well for about 15 steps. After downloading the App, which was a chore in itself, I had to 'get captcha' several times and then everytime after that which takes a minute countdown. I had to go thru that every time I opened the app. Horrible. When I finally thought I had it figured out, wrong. It wanted another code. I can't wait to return it, but I'll never get my time back.

This is an absolutely terrible app. It has broken English, no useful settings, and barely works. It's unintuitive, has no proper instructions, and it's impossible to use. It doesn't record any useful data about my fitness or my heart rate. When I record my heart rate, it beeps every few seconds and I have no option to turn off the beeps. It obnoxiously requests for a million phone permissions, constantly, without notification or explanation. 0/10 would not recommend. Needs a complete overhaul.

While this app is a simple interface which makes it awesome, the actual functioning of the app is really ruins the overall experience. Data recorded in the app for me can change over night, an example from last night is I went to bed on almost 13,000 steps for the day and today it shows only 256 steps for all of yesterday. This is a common issue I have with this app, as well as taking a long time to load. Really dissatisfied with the experience of this app.

I like my band but, it disconnects a lot from the app. Sometimes the sleep doesn't work at all. It will work about 2 or 3 days & then it's will stop for 2 or 3 days. Some other times I forget to charge it before it dies & it will totally disconnect from the app. I have to uninstall it & reinstall in, then start all over with from the first. Redo my profile & everything. Then it will pick my pass info back up later. Which is a good thing. Other wise the band itself works good. Thanks! 😍😱

Honestly I've had this for like 5 years and still works like a charm, heart beat sensor is not accurate at all. The main features are the notifications and the time and steps you have taken, these all are accurate and never fail. Battery life is great, easily last a few days without charging. I've had no issues with this smart watch and it hasn't came loose for me yet after 5 years. Would love an update soon on the app showing the battery of the watch to the exact % the notifications bar.

I wasn't expecting amazing things, but I at least expected that the pedometer function would work correctly. I ran my regular fitness app alongside the Dayday Band app, and in comparison it was only registering a third of my footsteps. It's also a heavy drain on battery life of the phone. Absolutely terrible, would not recommend.

It sometimes doesn't record the results correctly. You may have done, say 7000 steps the previous day, and graphs them but notes against them the number of steps taken so far for the current day. It has done this about once every 2 or 3 months. Have now had it for some time and found even more bugs. DO NOT UPGRADE. Would now not even give it 1 star.

Worked great for 3 days. Now the app won't connect to the band. Band continues to count steps but won't upload data to the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and disconnected band properly and tried to reconnect. Nothing! I can't log back in to the app as I can't get a captcha code after multiple attempts

This is sh*, now the band doesn't work for what I wanted, it doesn't connect with the device and it does not appear in the band search list ... how can I get it back?

Its prett great! My only problem is that it seems to turn on and of my bluetooth without permissions. Also when I get to far from the band and my bluetooth gets disconnected, it starts playing really loud music even if it was originally on mute it turns the volume all the way up. Could you please fix that?

Constantly stops working. I have to repeatedly refresh it, and in the last month I had to compleatly disconect my watch twice, and at times delete the app and it still wont recognize my watch for a few weeks even if my watch is touching my phone. Also it is extreamly inaccurate i sign alot and it counts my hands moving as footsteps, also I could walk three miles and it would count it as one. If I could give it less than one star I would.

Amazing band. Has wonderful functions. The best function is the alarm functioning. It can show many things on the screen, that is, the count of calories burnt, number of footsteps, distance walked and, of course, the time and date. It allows the users to have a great experience.

the app doesn't close down and forces a Bluetooth connection regardless of wanting it active. only had it 24 hours and it's had nearly 20 error messages that refuse to clear until I click report or ok, both of which force my Bluetooth to turn on without me doing anything. Watch recorded accurately enough on first proper days use, on next proper use it acknowledged barely any of my overall walk which was over 2 hours worth

At first its working but now i can connect my band. I tried it many times but still its not working. Please do something.

This app has been very helpful in helping me to learn more about my DayDay Band. Also helping me to use it more effectively .

Band wouldn't even show up in available devices to connect to in order to connect. Wasted my money buying this. My operating system is android 7.0 not the 6.0 that it says it has issues with. I tried all the trouble shooting options that were suggested and nothing worked. Should've listened to the other amazon reviewers.
